Yes, I have had my steam blaster for less than a year. It takes along time to heat up then when using it only has great steam for about a few seconds then the red light goes on to reheat. Also, takes along time to clean. I do like it for windows to get into the grime in the corners and the green pollen also my bathrooms but it does take time. The cord always moves around then steam doesn't come out and you need to play with it to work I had to return the first unit because I sometimes got steam and sometimes wouldn't get steam. Then all of a sudden I plug the unit in and I don't get a LIGHT AT ALL and the UNIT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL NOW !!!!! MY DAUGHTER HAS ALERGIES and ASMA, and now I can't clean with it at all how DISAPPOINTING !!! I called them and told them I was on my second unit and now it doesn't work at all. BAD customer service !!! They wont do anything for me and told me I would have to pay to get shipped and also $50.00 to get fixed. WHAT A RIP OFF, and guess what my sister inlaw put hers away as she stopped using hers and said take home and use hers. So I came home tonight plugged in and then it doesn't push steam out at all!! Doesn't work either like mine. We've both had about the same time and now both of ours has the same problem and neither on works. What a rip off and now we both don't have a steamer. WHY wont the company help me especially when my daughter has asma and I can't clean with chemicals. They should mail me the newer version and have me try that one and apologize that we have 2 machines that don't work and had not even 1 year. What should I do and is there a steamer that works good and wont give us a hard time ?
I NEED SOMETHING AS I can't use CHEMICALS and need to keep my house clean with steam and none chemicals or my daughter can't breath. HELP

Piece of junk! I purchased from my local store thinking it was the coolest thing ever because I could finally clean without using chemicals. Here are some of the problems: 1. Takes forever to heat up
2. Weighs more than you would think 3. The power cord always gets in the way. 4. The accessories are made of cheap plastic and break almost instantly. My advice, stay away unless you like wasting money!

Talk about messy!!! To really get ground in dirt it makes puddles of water. It does make cleaning the fridge easier when you have icky sticky messes in there but it takes two hands to run, takes forever to heat up, and is overall just a pain in the but to use.

We bought one as chemical-free way to clean up messes, while we were expecting our baby. It only produces several seconds of steam per heat cycle, and it is waste of laundry if you use white towels to gather er the mess. It does not even take wrinkles out of clothes or sheer curtains...

I borrowed my mother's steamer. The unit was not easy to use and produced steam for only a short time before having to be refilled. It did not clean as they showed it would. In fact, the only use I found for it was steaming drapes.

Unfortunately, the Silver Shark Steamer I purchased, I did not try to use for several months. Just forgot that I had it. I placed water in it an got the steam build up and started to "blast away" - lots of steam but it did not cut into soap scum or black midew or anything - just alot of steam and noise. I realized I just spent alot of money on a cool looking new machine but it is a toy.

I saw the ad on tv and sent away for the product, what a JOKE!!. This thing takes 10- 15 minutes to heat up then you have about 2-3 SECONDS of effective steam then the light comes back on and you wait some more.It doesn't hold much water, it's noisey, and works nothing like their add says. So take my advise people stay away from this product!!
