I saw the infomercial and against my better judgment decided to try the product. I called and they mentioned that if I liked it they would send me more and that I had 30 days to decide if I liked it. The makeup arrived and I must admit it looked much larger on tv. The amount you get could fit in a very small make-up bag. I tried it, thought it looked really heavy and I usually don't wear much make-up anyway so I called them back, within the 30 days (two weeks later actually) and cancelled the order for more. Which, incidentally, I didn't realize that they set up an "automatic" reorder for each month. Unless you catch it in the bunch of literature they send you with the makeup you'll never know until it shows up on your credit card. I didn't want them charging my credit card and so I thought I would nip this right away so I called and cancelled any reorders on 3/2/08. It is now 3/24/08 and I just checked the activity (online)on my credit card and I see that they have charged me an additional $97.80 for another shipment (which I called them and told them not to send!). What's more I have not even received this shipment they supposedly sent 3/18/08. So I called GRC Sheer Cover to complain. They admitted that yes they had gotten my call to cancel any further shipments on 3/2/08 but due to a "computer glitch" the cancellation had not gone through and that when it came I should just send it back (at my expense) and that when they got it they would issue a credit for $97.80 to my card. I told them I did not intend to spend any money sending it back since I did not order it. They said they would send me an invoice to send it back. I told them I wanted them to call my credit card company and issue a credit for $97.80 now since I was going to have to pay that this month. They told me that they would not do that and the woman I talked to kept saying in very condescending tones, to "let me try to explain this to you so you can understand"...I finally said "no let me explain it to you, your company is using very deceptive means to scam people into reordering your product. You are preying on people who are either too busy to notice or not careful enough to read what you have signed them up for." I also said that this woman I was talking on the phone with was "morally reprehensible and to make a living this way scamming innocent folks was despicable and that she should be sorry for her own soul." heh, heh, heh, a little heavy there but, hey man! if you say you are spiritual, a Christian and all that, you better live it too and I think this gal has a soul as black as soot for what she does. After hanging up I called my credit card company and once the GRC sale of $97.80 is taken off "pending" I can dispute it and it won't be paid. But after reading all these other comments I think this may not be the end of what rip-offs from this company. And hey! who is this Leeza Gibbons who is so proud of her association with this scummy organization?

I ordered the trial (30 day) kit and used it one time. The concealer was a real disappointment. It looked awful. I was really thick and made my skin dry. I also didn't like the foundation. It didn't even match my skin tone. I even ordered the corresponding shades. Before I could send the trial kit back I was mailed the starter kit. I was very upset to find my credit card had been billed 85.00. I sent that kit back and I was going to send the original back but I lost the lotion. I was told without everything in the kit I couldn't be refunded. I have tried other mineral make-up such as Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover doesn't hold a light to it. I am telling everyone I know not to waste their money.

did the $9.99 special trial offer and suddenly there was a new charge on my credit card - calley Sheet Cover and was told that the product was actually over $100. I said noooo, that was not what I was told, and he told me too bad, have to pay for it. Crappy make up to boot - I don't see what the whole deal with that stuff is anyway.

I ordered shercover, wanting only to try it for 29.95. Well I hated the make-up and thought that would be the end of it. However I keep receiving the product on some kind of auto-shippment. I have cancelled three times and return the products immediatly, unopened and then call to make sure they know I am sending it back. Each time the CSR kept me on the phone trying to encourage me to keep it or try to sell me something else. Its like they wont take NO for an answer. I am hoping the last call finally cancelled the auto-ship, but I'll have to keep an eye on my bank account to be sure.

I'm a makeup artist in my 60's now. I'm very careful of what I put on my face. The concept of the minerals is great. but they don't work for me. Possible for much younger people. They act like clay and absorbe all moisture on my face. The business of how they market this is terrible...I personally don't like any product that automatically sends you something and charges to account. your getting product when you don't want it. I guess you always have recorse thru Visa or what ever other card you use. I am about to cancel my product. By the way for those who care I have tried about all of the mineral makeup's with the same result.

I wish I had found this site before I saw the infomercial and ordered Sheer Cover. I have no complaints concerning their speed of delivery, and I haven't tried the product yet, but they certainly misrepresent the cost! Like others, I thought I was paying $29.95 + shipping, but when I got the invoice, the total was $108.85 divided into 3 payments. I'm going to try the product, but unless it's awfully good makeup, it's VERY pricey, and I will stop my "membership" as so many others have done. They really do need to be clear about what you are getting and what you are paying.

I bought this product from a local store and have no dealing with their company. But I would not recommend the product! It does not cover the skin or feel anything like what they claim. I paid $35.00 for a small kit which was supposed to be for medium skin. I thought I was medium. It's so light I look like a ghost! Even the darkest shade in the kit. I have reddish hair and some freckles. It doesn't cover anything and only enhances wrinkles. Starting sweating and you are trying to get a water faucet to wash it off.

I ORDERED THE KIT FOR THE SPECIAL PRICE...I THOUGHT WHAT A "GREAT DEAL"...IT TOOK A MONTH TO GET IT AND A MONTH LATER I RECEIVED AN "AUTO-MATIC" ORDER SHOWING THAT IN THE MONTHS TO COME THAT MY CREDIT CARD WOULD BE CHARGED $29.95. I CALL AND SPOKE TO A REP AND SHE TOLD ME THAT IT IS "CLEARLY STATED ON-LINE THAT I SIGNED UP FOR THE AUTO-MATIC PROGRAM"...I DID NOT. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT THE INFOMERICAL DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT GETTING THE ORDERS...SHE SAID THAT "IT IS CLEARLY STATED ON THE INFOMERICAL TOO". SHE ALSO SAID THAT MY CREDIT CARD WOULD STILL BE CHARGED FOR THE ORDERS FOR 4/01/08 AND 4/29/08. SO I'M NOT SURE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO BE REINBURSED NOW EITHER. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT FROM "NOW ON ANY ORDERS I WOULD MAKE I WOULD NOT RECEIVE THE SPECIAL PRICES EVER"...I TOLD THAT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!! I WAS ALSO TOLD TO "FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SENDING IT BACK AND THAT I WOULD OF COURSE HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING AND TO MAKE SURE I GOT A RETURNED MAIL CARD TO PROVE THAT I SENT THE ORDER BACK. I'M SO PISSED THAT I HAVEN'T WENT TO THE WEB-SITE TO SEE IF I ACTUALLY SEE WHAT MISTAKE I DID TO GET THIS SCAM STARTED. LISA GIVENS SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO BE CONNECTED TO THIS KIND OF SCAM. IF HER PRODUCT WAS GOOD SHE WOULDN'T HAVE TO RESORT TO THIS KIND OF SCAM TO SELL THE PRODUCT...BELEIVE ME HAD I SEEN THIS BEFORE I ORDERED I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE. THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT! IF THERE IS ANY INFO ON HOW TO STOP THEM FROM TAKING MY MONEY BEFORE THE 1ST OF APRIL PLEASE LET ME KNOW...BARBARA

The product cost 125$ shipping handling and taxes! The whole autoship just gives the oportunity to push the 39.99 price and steer away from reality! So I thought ok its 39.99 for one kit and then every 3 months you are charged again and sent another kit. Then to cancel after you receive your first kit is to cancel the autoshipment. Why dont they CLEARLY sell the fact that this is an amazing product worth 120$ and forget the autoship bullsnip! ADVERTISE 120$ advertise the real price and offer the autoship after at the end of the call, when all is clear.

i ordered my sheer cover over the internet on the 28th of december and they said it would take a couple of weeks to get to me so i waited about 5 weeks or so then emailed them asking what was going on. And they said they were out of stock. Then about another 4 weeks later i got a letter saying that my sheer cover would be another 2 weeks away. it is now Tuesday the 18th of march and i still hadnt recieved it so i emailed them saying if my order is going to be any longer i will cancel it. They then said they didnt no when the expected stock was going to arrive so As requested, we have cancelled your membership of Sheer Cover. It just annoys me how cheeky they can be as they hadnt attempted to contact me for more than a couple of months and told me it would only take a couple of weeks to reach me ages ago. And i never requested to cancel my order!!

I ordered the trial kit in December for my step-daughter. Every month since then, they have charged my credit card for something they only shipped to me once. I tried to reply to the e-mail address provided on my confirmation but the page isn't up. thank god for whoever started this posting or else i wouldn't have known. Now does anyone know how to get the money back? or who to talk to? This really pisses me off and i never authorized anyone to charge my card now, 3 extra times... help!

I ordered, paid for and received the initial order of Sheer Cover from an infomercial. When I received the order, I contacted the company to tell them not to send me any more kits. However, I just received another order and my credit card was billed for $43.77 without my being notified. If they want this kit returned, they have to send be a return label with postage paid.

I purchased some makeup for my lady friend 12/10/2007 for her to try. The original purchase was to be a one time charge of $29.95. Once received, the bill was for $35.90 which the company said was due to shipping charges added on. She tried the makeup and was not overly impressed with the product. On Jan 14, 2008 Sheer Cover again billed my account $35.70. When I discovered the charges I called the company and was told that the product had already been shipped and the charge could not be refunded unless I sent back all the products that had been shipped. However, I was told that I could close my account with them and there would be no further shipments or charges. On Feb 12, 2008 I again discovered that the company had billed my account for $29.95. When I called them they stated that the shipment for Jan was a double shipment and that my original order was a 3 payment order and that would be the final payment due. On Mar 11, 2008 I am again being charged $29.95 debited from my account. I called the company and was told that the order received in Jan was a 3 month supply and that this was the final payment. As you can see, their favorite line seems to be that this is your final payment and you just accept that to get rid of them. However, they continue to bill and send nothing and refuse to credit your account. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS A INFOMERCIAL SCAM you can not get rid of.

I was curious, I wanted to try it, so I ordered the product for only 36$ like they said on TV. until now I received only one piece of the kit and I paid more than 120$ for it. I called them to cancel my account, they wanted to suspend it for 6 months, but I wanted to CANCEL it. so they did, but I still have 73$ to pay them for somwthing I'm not even gonna receive. Their product is extremely costly and it just doesn't make any difference on my face. I cancelled my account nd they are still taking money on my credit card..

I ordered Sheer Coverage after seeing their infommercial constantly on TV. I consider any mail order business very seedy when they trap you with monthly purchases after you purchase your first trial set, which will end up costing you $100 after you're thinking $29. Leeza Gibbons and the other celebrities should be ashamed to represent such a deceitful company. Their purchasing system tuly takes advantage of the consumer. And I had worse break outs using their product then I did before. If this product purchasing scam happens to you, DO NOT open the package or the invoice envelop. Take it to your post office and return to sender (don't write that on the box or Sheer Cover won't accept it). You will not receive your refund until they have received your returned product. Be sure to call them and ask them to remove your credit card # and to no longer send you any of their products. Bad company and products!!!!!!!

My complaint against Sheer Cover is twofold. Firstly, like others here, I agree that it is unprofessional for any company to not clarify the total price of their product in their offer. You only end up getting an invoice and big news: the price is triple that you thought you'd be paying! Do they think customers will not mind if they do us all a "favor" and spread it into installements?! Anyone digging into my pocket like this is not welcome. Secondly, customer service simply sucks. I'm not talking about them being rude (they are), but about them messing up the orders A LOT. Twice in one month I got products I did not order and had to return them at my own cost, but hey I got a refund on my credit card. Still, having your customers' credit cards available for your Customer service reps to practically charge left and right should require having a more trained staff, don't you think? Leeza Gibbons, please look into your business practices more carefully. I'm closing my account. This is too much.

I have been DUPED by your Company. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. With my initial order of Sheer Cover, I received a statement saying that the next shipment would be sent AROUND 3/10/08. I called your company TODAY 3/08/08 and found that a kit was shipped on yesterday 3/07/08 for $100 or a 3 month supply of your product that does not work for my skin tone. Leeza Gibbons should be ashamed of herself for participating in a business with such shoddy business practices and to lend her name to such a sham as this. Nowhere in your literature does it state when you say that the intro price of $29.95 is a "locked in fee" that it will be charged X3 that amount for a three month supply within 30 days of the initial intro package. Who the hell do you think could use up that much product in such a short 30 day period of time? I will not accept it once it arrives. You have caused me unnecessary overdraft and bank fees that I cannot afford and will now be penalized for because I took you at your word and believed this statement about not receiving another shipment until 3/10/08 was genuine. How DARE YOU!!! I will complain to Guthy-Renker, Infomercial Scams.Com and the President if I have to and anyone else who will listen in order to prevent anybody else from going through this nightmare as I am.
I never wish to be contacted by you, your agents or anyone affiliated with SHEER COVER now or in the future and am, by way of this e-mail CANCELING this account effective IMMEDIATELY. You're a despicable company/organization. I'm sorry I ever tried to do business with you and will never trust anything affiliated with Guthy-Renker again. By the way, my name is Sharon L. and my Sheer Cover account number is ------------------.

I too saw the ad on TV last night for the introductory trial price of $9.95 plus S&H. I stupidly did not do my research before picking up the phone and calling the toll free number. When I called, I just got a bad feeling about it- the csr was telling me that I would be enrolled in a monthly club where I get charged and they would send me the product- I said NO, I don't want ANY of that- I ONLY want the trial- he told me that once I receive the trial to simply send it back and they would cancel my account. Today I found this site and of course scared me so I called to cancel my order and of course got the response that they COULD NOT CANCEL MY ORDER! Which is such crap! The csr told me the best thing to do is contact my CC company and have them deny any charges from Sheer Cover and when the package arrives just send it back. I called my CC company and they told me there isn't anything they can do until the first charge has appeared and after that they can deny any future charges from Sheer Cover. They told me to save my receipt after returning (so I have proof that I sent it back). Hopefully I won't have to go through too much hassle, but I already feel like this is hassle enough- I know I will have to pay out of pocket to send the product back and waste my time at the bank filling out a claim form- all of makeup I don't even plan on trying! A TOTAL WASTE AND SCAM! I never do things like this in the first place and now I know why- if it sounds too good to be true, it is!

At first I was very interested in the whole mineral make up, that was until I tried Sheer Cover. It is the worst make up I have ever used and the customer service is horrible. I signed up online, not knowing that is actually cost aout a hundred dollars every three months. I thought it was only 37 dollars, but they kept charging my account. I finally canceled may account with sheet cover and they continued to charge my account. When I called to find out what was going on the representative was very rude. I have never dealt with a worse company. Don't fall for the advertisements because the product and the company are absolutely terrible.
