I obviously after seeing the add thought hey why not try this product and its so reasonably priced. It didnt agree with my skin so i decided to cancel, they have been charging my debit card and when I call they say I have to mail back the product. Why should I be responsible for mailing fees again...This product isnt great and their customer service is terrible...I am outraged!

I ordered the trial for my friend who doesn't have her own credit card. The trial came and that was fine - I find today a charge on my credit card for $44 and some odd cents so I called the 1-800 # listed on the sheer cover website and was told that by ordering on line I had joined the club and that I was shipped the 90day alotment of product this past monday and that it would cost over $100 as I would be charged another $50 something later. I asked to cancel the membership I knew nothing about and asked how to get my money back. Apparently if you return the product they will credit you back she did suggest sending it back with receipt of delivery and the money would be refunded less shipping & handling. It should be a little more obvious that you are actually joining somethin - I told her I thought I was only getting a one time thing and she said no if it was a one time shipment it would have be over $60. Wish me luck in sending it back for a refund.

My husband ordered the sheer cover trial set that they advertise on TV and I did receive the product. But a month later they charged us 29.95 and I thought that maybe they were set up to send more product monthly, but I didn't receive anything. Then the next month we got billed again. This time I called customer service and was told that when we originally ordered the product it said that if we didn't return it in 60 days that we would be charge the total price over $100. The operator then had me sign onto [] instead of [] and had me go through the motions of ordering. And here is the fine print... Sheer CoverĀ® 90-Day Intro Kit, Light - Includes $90 in Free Gifts. Only $9.95 plus $7.95 shipping and handling, billed when your product is shipped. If you do not return your Sheer Cover kit within 30 days, you will be billed three additional monthly payments of $29.95 to the credit card used today. In addition, you'll be enrolled in the Home Delivery Program and receive a replenishment of Sheer CoverĀ® every 90 days with the same guarantee and your credit card will automatically be billed $29.95 a month plus $7.95 s&h for each shipment. - SJLC on [] it doesn't say that at all. And on the informercial it never says, if you don't return it in 60 days we are going to charge you. It is shady at best and a scam at worst. Don't buy it. I have used both this and Bare Escentuals and this one is not even close to the quality of the other. And when I was billed by Bare escetuals I actually received product.

I like all the rest purchased this product assuming it was $29. The only reason I chose to go with Sheercover is because I was previously using Bareminerals and thought it was a bit expensive compared to the $29.00 for sheer cover. I called in, ordered, and was assured my card would be billed the $29 plus shipping. I receieved the product quickly; however, after using it I noticed it is nowhere near the quality Bareminerals was. My face gets greasy after a few hours, it smears all over clothes, my sheets are covered in makeup that came out of my poors at night. But, once again I figured to save the money it was worth dealing with its downfalls. A few weeks later I get a package in the mail from Sheercover. Open it up and see a ton of stuff in the box. Then I found the bill and it was $120.00! Um... Nothing ever said I would be shipped a ton of stuff I didn't request and get billed for it. So when I called the customer service they were very rude to me saying "Well mulitiply the $29.00 by 3 months supply and that is why your bill is so high"! Well, I was under the impression it was $29.00 for the kit which lasts 3 months. Bareminerals kit was CHEAPER and actually works! Plus, if I ever called with a problem or question they sent me free stuff or credited my account just for my business. All Sheercover said was "you can ship it back and we will credit your account and it may take up to 4 weeks". I asked if they could credit my account for the shipping charges and she was very rude again and said it was not their problem I did not know the product would be $29.00 a month. I am switching back to Bareminerals, which ends up being cheaper in the end and their product works!

I have been using Sheer Cover since November 2007. They kept shipping me the product every three weeks, even though I changed my shipping dates to every 8 weeks, and they didn't send me a bill until it was at $300, in January of 2008. I called their customer care center and gave them my visa number so I could pay the bill, and as far as I knew they accepted the payment. What I didnt know is it was put back on a few days later, and I revieved a notice in March saying I have made no effort to contact them to settle my bill, even though they've sent me numerous notices and that my account would be sent to collections! I ended up having to send them a money order and cancelling my account because I didn't want trust them with my VISA number again. The product was good, but the billing department doesnt know what they're doing. Be careful when making your payments!!!

Hello, I ordered Sheer Cover and received the product in a timely manor, my problem is that the product does not work like it said. It shows my blemishes and you can tell that i'm wearing makeup. The other day I called customer service and told them, and they said that they can cancel any further shipments and billings, but if I returned the product I would still have to pay for Shipping and handling both ways. I find this unfair. I shouldn't have to pay for shipping twice on a product that doesn't work properly. I was told a 60 days and your money back.. Do not buy this product. Like everyone said below.. It's a scam!!!!

I saw the infomercial and against my better judgment decided to try the product. I called and they mentioned that if I liked it they would send me more and that I had 30 days to decide if I liked it. The makeup arrived and I must admit it looked much larger on tv. The amount you get could fit in a very small make-up bag. I tried it, thought it looked really heavy and I usually don't wear much make-up anyway so I called them back, within the 30 days (two weeks later actually) and cancelled the order for more. Which, incidentally, I didn't realize that they set up an "automatic" reorder for each month. Unless you catch it in the bunch of literature they send you with the makeup you'll never know until it shows up on your credit card. I didn't want them charging my credit card and so I thought I would nip this right away so I called and cancelled any reorders on 3/2/08. It is now 3/24/08 and I just checked the activity (online)on my credit card and I see that they have charged me an additional $97.80 for another shipment (which I called them and told them not to send!). What's more I have not even received this shipment they supposedly sent 3/18/08. So I called GRC Sheer Cover to complain. They admitted that yes they had gotten my call to cancel any further shipments on 3/2/08 but due to a "computer glitch" the cancellation had not gone through and that when it came I should just send it back (at my expense) and that when they got it they would issue a credit for $97.80 to my card. I told them I did not intend to spend any money sending it back since I did not order it. They said they would send me an invoice to send it back. I told them I wanted them to call my credit card company and issue a credit for $97.80 now since I was going to have to pay that this month. They told me that they would not do that and the woman I talked to kept saying in very condescending tones, to "let me try to explain this to you so you can understand"...I finally said "no let me explain it to you, your company is using very deceptive means to scam people into reordering your product. You are preying on people who are either too busy to notice or not careful enough to read what you have signed them up for." I also said that this woman I was talking on the phone with was "morally reprehensible and to make a living this way scamming innocent folks was despicable and that she should be sorry for her own soul." heh, heh, heh, a little heavy there but, hey man! if you say you are spiritual, a Christian and all that, you better live it too and I think this gal has a soul as black as soot for what she does. After hanging up I called my credit card company and once the GRC sale of $97.80 is taken off "pending" I can dispute it and it won't be paid. But after reading all these other comments I think this may not be the end of what rip-offs from this company. And hey! who is this Leeza Gibbons who is so proud of her association with this scummy organization?

I ordered the trial (30 day) kit and used it one time. The concealer was a real disappointment. It looked awful. I was really thick and made my skin dry. I also didn't like the foundation. It didn't even match my skin tone. I even ordered the corresponding shades. Before I could send the trial kit back I was mailed the starter kit. I was very upset to find my credit card had been billed 85.00. I sent that kit back and I was going to send the original back but I lost the lotion. I was told without everything in the kit I couldn't be refunded. I have tried other mineral make-up such as Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover doesn't hold a light to it. I am telling everyone I know not to waste their money.

did the $9.99 special trial offer and suddenly there was a new charge on my credit card - calley Sheet Cover and was told that the product was actually over $100. I said noooo, that was not what I was told, and he told me too bad, have to pay for it. Crappy make up to boot - I don't see what the whole deal with that stuff is anyway.

I ordered shercover, wanting only to try it for 29.95. Well I hated the make-up and thought that would be the end of it. However I keep receiving the product on some kind of auto-shippment. I have cancelled three times and return the products immediatly, unopened and then call to make sure they know I am sending it back. Each time the CSR kept me on the phone trying to encourage me to keep it or try to sell me something else. Its like they wont take NO for an answer. I am hoping the last call finally cancelled the auto-ship, but I'll have to keep an eye on my bank account to be sure.

I'm a makeup artist in my 60's now. I'm very careful of what I put on my face. The concept of the minerals is great. but they don't work for me. Possible for much younger people. They act like clay and absorbe all moisture on my face. The business of how they market this is terrible...I personally don't like any product that automatically sends you something and charges to account. your getting product when you don't want it. I guess you always have recorse thru Visa or what ever other card you use. I am about to cancel my product. By the way for those who care I have tried about all of the mineral makeup's with the same result.

I wish I had found this site before I saw the infomercial and ordered Sheer Cover. I have no complaints concerning their speed of delivery, and I haven't tried the product yet, but they certainly misrepresent the cost! Like others, I thought I was paying $29.95 + shipping, but when I got the invoice, the total was $108.85 divided into 3 payments. I'm going to try the product, but unless it's awfully good makeup, it's VERY pricey, and I will stop my "membership" as so many others have done. They really do need to be clear about what you are getting and what you are paying.

I bought this product from a local store and have no dealing with their company. But I would not recommend the product! It does not cover the skin or feel anything like what they claim. I paid $35.00 for a small kit which was supposed to be for medium skin. I thought I was medium. It's so light I look like a ghost! Even the darkest shade in the kit. I have reddish hair and some freckles. It doesn't cover anything and only enhances wrinkles. Starting sweating and you are trying to get a water faucet to wash it off.

I ORDERED THE KIT FOR THE SPECIAL PRICE...I THOUGHT WHAT A "GREAT DEAL"...IT TOOK A MONTH TO GET IT AND A MONTH LATER I RECEIVED AN "AUTO-MATIC" ORDER SHOWING THAT IN THE MONTHS TO COME THAT MY CREDIT CARD WOULD BE CHARGED $29.95. I CALL AND SPOKE TO A REP AND SHE TOLD ME THAT IT IS "CLEARLY STATED ON-LINE THAT I SIGNED UP FOR THE AUTO-MATIC PROGRAM"...I DID NOT. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT THE INFOMERICAL DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT GETTING THE ORDERS...SHE SAID THAT "IT IS CLEARLY STATED ON THE INFOMERICAL TOO". SHE ALSO SAID THAT MY CREDIT CARD WOULD STILL BE CHARGED FOR THE ORDERS FOR 4/01/08 AND 4/29/08. SO I'M NOT SURE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO BE REINBURSED NOW EITHER. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT FROM "NOW ON ANY ORDERS I WOULD MAKE I WOULD NOT RECEIVE THE SPECIAL PRICES EVER"...I TOLD THAT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!! I WAS ALSO TOLD TO "FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SENDING IT BACK AND THAT I WOULD OF COURSE HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING AND TO MAKE SURE I GOT A RETURNED MAIL CARD TO PROVE THAT I SENT THE ORDER BACK. I'M SO PISSED THAT I HAVEN'T WENT TO THE WEB-SITE TO SEE IF I ACTUALLY SEE WHAT MISTAKE I DID TO GET THIS SCAM STARTED. LISA GIVENS SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO BE CONNECTED TO THIS KIND OF SCAM. IF HER PRODUCT WAS GOOD SHE WOULDN'T HAVE TO RESORT TO THIS KIND OF SCAM TO SELL THE PRODUCT...BELEIVE ME HAD I SEEN THIS BEFORE I ORDERED I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE. THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT! IF THERE IS ANY INFO ON HOW TO STOP THEM FROM TAKING MY MONEY BEFORE THE 1ST OF APRIL PLEASE LET ME KNOW...BARBARA

The product cost 125$ shipping handling and taxes! The whole autoship just gives the oportunity to push the 39.99 price and steer away from reality! So I thought ok its 39.99 for one kit and then every 3 months you are charged again and sent another kit. Then to cancel after you receive your first kit is to cancel the autoshipment. Why dont they CLEARLY sell the fact that this is an amazing product worth 120$ and forget the autoship bullsnip! ADVERTISE 120$ advertise the real price and offer the autoship after at the end of the call, when all is clear.

i ordered my sheer cover over the internet on the 28th of december and they said it would take a couple of weeks to get to me so i waited about 5 weeks or so then emailed them asking what was going on. And they said they were out of stock. Then about another 4 weeks later i got a letter saying that my sheer cover would be another 2 weeks away. it is now Tuesday the 18th of march and i still hadnt recieved it so i emailed them saying if my order is going to be any longer i will cancel it. They then said they didnt no when the expected stock was going to arrive so As requested, we have cancelled your membership of Sheer Cover. It just annoys me how cheeky they can be as they hadnt attempted to contact me for more than a couple of months and told me it would only take a couple of weeks to reach me ages ago. And i never requested to cancel my order!!

I ordered the trial kit in December for my step-daughter. Every month since then, they have charged my credit card for something they only shipped to me once. I tried to reply to the e-mail address provided on my confirmation but the page isn't up. thank god for whoever started this posting or else i wouldn't have known. Now does anyone know how to get the money back? or who to talk to? This really pisses me off and i never authorized anyone to charge my card now, 3 extra times... help!

I ordered, paid for and received the initial order of Sheer Cover from an infomercial. When I received the order, I contacted the company to tell them not to send me any more kits. However, I just received another order and my credit card was billed for $43.77 without my being notified. If they want this kit returned, they have to send be a return label with postage paid.

I purchased some makeup for my lady friend 12/10/2007 for her to try. The original purchase was to be a one time charge of $29.95. Once received, the bill was for $35.90 which the company said was due to shipping charges added on. She tried the makeup and was not overly impressed with the product. On Jan 14, 2008 Sheer Cover again billed my account $35.70. When I discovered the charges I called the company and was told that the product had already been shipped and the charge could not be refunded unless I sent back all the products that had been shipped. However, I was told that I could close my account with them and there would be no further shipments or charges. On Feb 12, 2008 I again discovered that the company had billed my account for $29.95. When I called them they stated that the shipment for Jan was a double shipment and that my original order was a 3 payment order and that would be the final payment due. On Mar 11, 2008 I am again being charged $29.95 debited from my account. I called the company and was told that the order received in Jan was a 3 month supply and that this was the final payment. As you can see, their favorite line seems to be that this is your final payment and you just accept that to get rid of them. However, they continue to bill and send nothing and refuse to credit your account. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS A INFOMERCIAL SCAM you can not get rid of.

I was curious, I wanted to try it, so I ordered the product for only 36$ like they said on TV. until now I received only one piece of the kit and I paid more than 120$ for it. I called them to cancel my account, they wanted to suspend it for 6 months, but I wanted to CANCEL it. so they did, but I still have 73$ to pay them for somwthing I'm not even gonna receive. Their product is extremely costly and it just doesn't make any difference on my face. I cancelled my account nd they are still taking money on my credit card..
