I responded to a commercial advertising their sheer cover product for $9.95 as a way to try their product. I called the number and talked to a rep. He talked very fast and kept trying to sell me other products. I told him I did not want any other products I just wanted to try the special because I have never used it before. I repeatedly asked him if I got the kit for the $9.95. He responded Yes mam, plus the shipping and handling which would come to be 17.82. I said I will not be charged anything else? He said no that would be all the kit would cost me. He said I would automatically be enrolled in their program but could cancel at any time before the 90 days so the next kit would not be sent out and I would not be charged another dime. Well I got the kit and I was charged 17.82 but then it showed that my card would be charged another 29.95 for the next three months. This was totally misrepresented. I called the customer service and they said they were sorry that those people don't really know what they are talking about. I would not be charged if I sent the kit back within 30 days. I would not have ordered the kit if I had known this is how it really was. I was very disappointed to find that this product and how they sold it was so misrepresented. A truly great product does not need to trick people into buying it. I will be sending it back just on principle. Thank you for your time.

While I am really glad to see I am not alone in my irritation with this company, I feel badly that others are going through the same thing I am. I too watched the infomercial and ordered the trial at the low price. Then I received a kit and a bill for $114. I immediately sent that back and have received to kits since! Unbelieveable!! I don't know if I will ever get my money back or not. I am thoroughly disgusted.

i THOUGHT that i was ordering a promotional kit for $9.95. that's what the commercial said. that's what the website said. i got the product and realized that they are going to charge me a total of $116 for the kit. i will say the makeup is pretty decent. but i do not like to be deceived and that is exactly what happened. so now i have to package everything back up and take the time to go to the post office and pay to ship the product back, and wait 4 to 6 weeks for a refund. on top of that, the CSR made sure to tell me that i need to purchase a "proof of mailing" in case they "don't receive the package". i'm fully expecting that i will go through the trouble and expense of shipping the makeup back, i will wait 4 to 6 weeks, my account will continue to be debited, and they will say they "never received the package". i will then have to pull up my proof of mailing and then wait for that to be processed. i'm quite sure they do this recognizing that at that point most people would just give up and take the financial hit. this is a giant scam and incredibly frustrating. i have learned my lesson to never order anything off of an infomerical. ever.

This morning I called the 800 umber to try this product. The csr was very rude and demanded my credit card number before she even asked me to complete the order. When I asked her about ordering my shade she said "we'll get to that later." The call dropped. Now she has my credit card number and I will probably be billed for something I really don't want now that I realize that they are scam artists. I will be contacting the BBB and my attorney general about this matter.

I ordered the 30 day trial but also ended up receiving the 90 day trial. I happen to love the make-up & gladly will pay for the foundation as i need it. However, the cost is completely misrepresented by the company. They advertise an intro kit for 9.95 but what you get a is a kit & a bill for 114$. Had I realized the real cost of this product I would have never wasted the time & energy to respond to the informercial. And while I like this product, I feel that the price was intentionally misleading ( = FRAUD).

I saw this informercial early one morning, advertising $9.95 plus s/h. I decided to try it. I was promptly sent a bill for $115. They will be taking payments out of my account until February. I ordered it in November. I cancelled the rest of the shipments but I am outraged that $9.95 turns into $115. I would love to participate in a lawsuit against this company. I have seen the commercial several times and not once do they explain any of this. Never again

Sheer cover scam me bad. There ad was very misleading and tricky. They never told me that what they gonna do!!! They didn't tell me the whole deal. I just found out that they charged my credit card two times for the amount of one package. What a #####!!####. First shipment had no problem. Amount was fair about 37.90. Second shipment charged was $29.95. I thought that was it. I cancelled the subscription. But they charged my credit card for another $35.90. Now, I recieved a letter that I still owe them $29.95 They said that the second shipment was valued 97.90 and have three installment. I couldn't believe this! This is a rip off...

I was watching tv and saw the product on an infomercial selling for $9.95 I thought I would give it a try so when I called I made sure to tell them I didn't want any future shipments and no other charges and of course they said that would not be a problem but if I decided I liked the product to call them back and they would send more well I received the package and on the bill that was suppose to be only $9.95 it states they will be charging me 3 additional payments of $30 each because and this is crazy part the $9.95 30 day supply really cost $107.75 what a scam it such a little amount maybe just enough make for a child to play with! I wish I would have known about this site before placing my order and I hope this is not going to take forever to resolve. I called them before getting on this site to let them know that I would be sending this back, not to chage my card anymore and no futher shipments and I also will be keeping all my paperwork if anything happens. No more infomercials for me I have learned from this experience and I hope other people have a chance to read this before ordering. Please don't go through what everyone on this site has had to deal with!

I purchased the 29.99 trail pack. I specifically stated I did not want any vitamins or anything other than the $29.95 trail pack. I go the product, didn't like it and called CS to ask how to get my $29.95 back. It would have cost alsmost as much to return the pack so I decided to keep the trail pack and burn the $29 bucks. To my horror and amazement I received a $40 pack of vitimins in the mail. I called Sheer Cover asking what the $%#@ was this and they claimed I order it. Also that I would hae to call a different CS number to dispute the charge and cancel that subscription. I pointed out to CS that I had no knowledge of that company and not authorized Sheer Coverage to give my credit card number to any other company. Needless to say I speak housrs on the phone and thier products keep being charged to my account. Sheer Coverage is a NIGHTMARE, Leeza Gibbons should be ashamed to be associated with such a terrible company.

I also found a mysterioius extra change without additional product. I recall only asking for 30 day. And was billed again this month. And they had the nerve to not even send me product. Well they seem to be very quick now in refunding I just called. and they said 3-5 days for a refund. well I'm still going to dispute the charges.

I give up! I called to order the infomercial deal, but was talked into ordering the 90 day supply. The operator said I could cancel any shipments after the first one and pay no more than the original amount. I paid $46 and immediately sent them a letter cancelling any future shipments. Imagine my surprise when I got another $30 charge to my credit card---no makeup, just a charge. I emailed customer service and was told just what everyone else was told---I was just too dumb to understand the deal and that I was stuck for the entire $119. I'm tired of the fight, but I sure will never purchase anything offered by Guthy Renker again.

Ladies, pay close attention to your letter that arrives with the product. I initially ordered only the 30 day supply and it was advertised at a special deal. THey sent me a 90 day supply and in the letter, it states that there was to be no additional charge to me. I caught that, but yet they still are determined to collect money for the 90 day supply. Please keep that letter and pay close attention to the letter. If anything, I'm consulting a class action lawyer that my family knows to see what can be done about this and all of the people who have purchased this item. This is really ridiculous that a company can scam money out of people unwillingly.

Well, like the other 240 of you, I watched the infomercial, and I purchased the product. After seeing how little you receive, and how little it actually works, I tossed it on my desk and it now collects dust. I wrote off the $30 some odd dollars and went on with my life. Needless to say, Sheer Cover decided to send me another package, and charged my credit card, AGAIN. I immediately disputed the claim with my credit card company, and notified Sheer Cover. They sent me an e-mail telling me I was basically ignorant because I didn't understand their policy of "once we get your credit card number, be prepared to get royally screwed for as long as we can do it." They said they canceled any further shipments and deductions from my credit. I was content with it, a little rattled, but happy to leave it in my past. To my amazement, I received another charge from them on Christmas Eve, for $30. Mind you, I haven't even received a package this time, and apparently their website is non-existent. I want to warn everyone about this scam. Stupid Leeza. She definitely deserves a punch in the face for endorsing such a scandal.

They lure you in by providing a special deal. You receive a package of make up that looks TRIAL size, but it comes with a big ticket. They claim that the package that they sent is a 90 day supply when it looks to only really be about 45 days supply. What you think was only 19.99 when you ordered it, turns out to be 99.99 when all is said and done. The product is actually decent, but not for the $100 price tag that they scam you for. It isn't right and it isn't fair!

I ordered sheer cover and was satisfied with the product, but didn't need to contiue getting shipments because I already had plenty so, back in November I called. I was assured by the CSR that I would not be getting any further orders nor would my account be billed any further charges. Then two days later, there was a sheer cover charge on my account, I called CSR again and asked them to remove the charge, CSR told me they would just as soon as they received the product back, when I finally received the shipment about two weeks later, I returned it at which point instead to my account being credited, it was debited again for another order, that I have not received. Needless to say that I contacted my bank but before I received reply from my bank, Sheer Cover again debited my account. At this point they owe me 127.00. I hope my bank is quick to stop these people or God knows how much money they will steel. Liza Gibbons should be ashamed to be associated with such a company.

I ordered sheer coverage after I saw the infomercial and ordered the free trial. I didn't like the product then but I forgot to cancel it within the trial period. I received my second shipment and my bank account got billed $37. I didn't have time to mail it back right away so I set the frequency of new orders to be at 16 weeks, thinking that this would decrease the price. My next billing was $30. I contacted them by email to cancel my account and they did it immediately. However almost a month afterward, I was charged another $30. I haven't received any more product and the one measly shipment was not worth the $97. It's a bad product. I contacted them and asked them to remove the latest billing. They did. Then it appeared again 4 days later. So I contacted them again and finally sent in my return on Sunday. I haven't heard back yet.

I ordered this product in September and it made my skin itch so I canceled. I wasn't aware it was a monthly fee so the next month I was charged again. I called and told them I had cancelled they said I would be billed for three months until I returned the product. I sent back the product by certified mail and it shows that they have received it but they say it will take another 4 to 6 weeks to get a refund back. I won't be ordering anything from an infomercial again.

Sheer cover.. web site is gone. I am trying for last 2 wks to cancel my order & member ship & web site is completely gone. Every link leads to a blank page. For those of you with credit cards do like me dispute the charges with your credit card company by letter. Make sure CC company understands you have canceled all further orders to this company & will refuse any packages they send to you & will not pay any charges from that company. This is how I am going to handle per my credit card company's customer service contact. I liked some of the products but find it is just too darned expensive & no controll over charges to cc & when they do them. Other products were terrible.

I bought this product early one morning while I was watching TV. I said no to all of the extras and was told I would only have to pay for the shipments every 90 days. Well I just checked my bank account and there is a charge on there that shouldn't be there. They say they will do something when you talk to them on the phone but do the opposite when they ship it. I called my bank and they can't stop them from taking money out of my account until they have a chance to have the product back for a week. Then I can call the bank back and they will stop future payments to them. What I don't understand is why it takes almost 3 months for them to dismantle the shipment they send out to you, if they just turn around and ship it out to the next sucker to call in. Then YOU HAVE TO FIGHT to get your promised refund back. All the while still getting charged for the product you don't even have posession of anymore. Where do you even find their address? I tracked my shipment to De moise IO if that is even correct I don't even know. These guys should be assamed of them selves for being part of this company. Us women want to feel better about ourselves so we try make-up and then this company goes and destroys the chace we have at doing that. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

My daughter wanted it. I read the web site. Let her order the one time trial. sheer cover put her down for for full package and started billing my card and not sending product. So I call. The csr basically said too bad. Since they lied to me I returned the favor and told them it was ordered without my permission and by a 12 year old. They canceled the account and returned my money within 4 days. Never did get the second unwanted but they claim to have sent it package.
