Well, like the other 240 of you, I watched the infomercial, and I purchased the product. After seeing how little you receive, and how little it actually works, I tossed it on my desk and it now collects dust. I wrote off the $30 some odd dollars and went on with my life. Needless to say, Sheer Cover decided to send me another package, and charged my credit card, AGAIN. I immediately disputed the claim with my credit card company, and notified Sheer Cover. They sent me an e-mail telling me I was basically ignorant because I didn't understand their policy of "once we get your credit card number, be prepared to get royally screwed for as long as we can do it." They said they canceled any further shipments and deductions from my credit. I was content with it, a little rattled, but happy to leave it in my past. To my amazement, I received another charge from them on Christmas Eve, for $30. Mind you, I haven't even received a package this time, and apparently their website is non-existent. I want to warn everyone about this scam. Stupid Leeza. She definitely deserves a punch in the face for endorsing such a scandal.

They lure you in by providing a special deal. You receive a package of make up that looks TRIAL size, but it comes with a big ticket. They claim that the package that they sent is a 90 day supply when it looks to only really be about 45 days supply. What you think was only 19.99 when you ordered it, turns out to be 99.99 when all is said and done. The product is actually decent, but not for the $100 price tag that they scam you for. It isn't right and it isn't fair!

I ordered sheer cover and was satisfied with the product, but didn't need to contiue getting shipments because I already had plenty so, back in November I called. I was assured by the CSR that I would not be getting any further orders nor would my account be billed any further charges. Then two days later, there was a sheer cover charge on my account, I called CSR again and asked them to remove the charge, CSR told me they would just as soon as they received the product back, when I finally received the shipment about two weeks later, I returned it at which point instead to my account being credited, it was debited again for another order, that I have not received. Needless to say that I contacted my bank but before I received reply from my bank, Sheer Cover again debited my account. At this point they owe me 127.00. I hope my bank is quick to stop these people or God knows how much money they will steel. Liza Gibbons should be ashamed to be associated with such a company.

I ordered sheer coverage after I saw the infomercial and ordered the free trial. I didn't like the product then but I forgot to cancel it within the trial period. I received my second shipment and my bank account got billed $37. I didn't have time to mail it back right away so I set the frequency of new orders to be at 16 weeks, thinking that this would decrease the price. My next billing was $30. I contacted them by email to cancel my account and they did it immediately. However almost a month afterward, I was charged another $30. I haven't received any more product and the one measly shipment was not worth the $97. It's a bad product. I contacted them and asked them to remove the latest billing. They did. Then it appeared again 4 days later. So I contacted them again and finally sent in my return on Sunday. I haven't heard back yet.

I ordered this product in September and it made my skin itch so I canceled. I wasn't aware it was a monthly fee so the next month I was charged again. I called and told them I had cancelled they said I would be billed for three months until I returned the product. I sent back the product by certified mail and it shows that they have received it but they say it will take another 4 to 6 weeks to get a refund back. I won't be ordering anything from an infomercial again.

Sheer cover.. web site is gone. I am trying for last 2 wks to cancel my order & member ship & web site is completely gone. Every link leads to a blank page. For those of you with credit cards do like me dispute the charges with your credit card company by letter. Make sure CC company understands you have canceled all further orders to this company & will refuse any packages they send to you & will not pay any charges from that company. This is how I am going to handle per my credit card company's customer service contact. I liked some of the products but find it is just too darned expensive & no controll over charges to cc & when they do them. Other products were terrible.

I bought this product early one morning while I was watching TV. I said no to all of the extras and was told I would only have to pay for the shipments every 90 days. Well I just checked my bank account and there is a charge on there that shouldn't be there. They say they will do something when you talk to them on the phone but do the opposite when they ship it. I called my bank and they can't stop them from taking money out of my account until they have a chance to have the product back for a week. Then I can call the bank back and they will stop future payments to them. What I don't understand is why it takes almost 3 months for them to dismantle the shipment they send out to you, if they just turn around and ship it out to the next sucker to call in. Then YOU HAVE TO FIGHT to get your promised refund back. All the while still getting charged for the product you don't even have posession of anymore. Where do you even find their address? I tracked my shipment to De moise IO if that is even correct I don't even know. These guys should be assamed of them selves for being part of this company. Us women want to feel better about ourselves so we try make-up and then this company goes and destroys the chace we have at doing that. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

My daughter wanted it. I read the web site. Let her order the one time trial. sheer cover put her down for for full package and started billing my card and not sending product. So I call. The csr basically said too bad. Since they lied to me I returned the favor and told them it was ordered without my permission and by a 12 year old. They canceled the account and returned my money within 4 days. Never did get the second unwanted but they claim to have sent it package.

1/2/2008 - Celeste writes:
This is BS, I thought $29.99 was a good deal but the tiny bit of make up they send you is ridiculous! And then they charge you extra fees? For what?! I had to use a lot of the concealer because I've been out of it for a while so hopefully they'll take back the rest of this crap. It really is crap, you have to put a ton on for decent coverage. Do not buy from them!

I have a lot of complaints about this company that screwed up on bills to over charge me, but for the most part they did refund me when mistakes were made. However, I am so upset because they say that if you place a create-a-kit with more than 10 items that you get a free organizer with the purchase. That was 5 months ago and I'm still waiting for the organizer because it's still on back order and they don't know when they'll get more. They weren't being honest by sending it. I've tried to speak to many cust reps. and they all say the same thing. Good going...this company makes sure to take your money, but won't give you the quality that they say the will. Don't Buy!

I the cancelled the order right after the first order-i keep getting charged- they took out another 2 payments from checking account. i want my money back

Ahhhhhh!!! I ordered the product when it was on promotion for only $9.95, and thought that was it. But just this morning found out my card had been charged another $30!! I hate scammers!! The makeup isn't even that great!

I received my introductory kit. When I ordered I specifically requested no further shipments until I tried it and the man that was my CSR agreed. I received it and tried it and the colors were all too dark for me. I thought, well, I'm only out the $37. On the contrary, I am not only paying the $37 but an additonal $97 with an auto shipment in less than a month, rather than the 90 days it says on the site that I specifically asked NOT to get! I called and got a really snotty CSR. To say the least I was very angry and told her to cancel further shipments and I will make sure she gets back EVERYTHING! I am sending absolutely everything back that I have received and I know I will be paying all the postage, but I don't care. They better refund the $29.95 plus whatever the the stupid $97 kit is priced at minus the shipping. I trusted this company because of Leeza Gibbons. She is stupid to be associated with such a sleazy dishonest company!

You can add me to the list. It really puts me out to open this website and see over 200 people scammed and there is nothing we can do about it. I work at a bank and know that if the credit card companys get enough complains they eventually will cut them off. So if anyone has a chance call your bank or your credit card company and report them I believe that is the only way to get these jerks stopped.

I fell for the scam also. Mine was $29.95 intro offer with what Ithought was a shipment every 90 days and I would be billed every 90 days also. Just checked my credit card statement and was surprised to see another $37 charges to my account. But they only ship every 90 days. Tried to contact customer service and you have to have account number, secure number, another words things you cannot get from their website (even with being logged on to the website under "my account") and they do not enclose paperwork with the shipment so how do I get these numbers. I am contacting my credit card company and the BBB when I find out what state they are in. I am not paying over $100 for that little bit of dust they call make-up. I will be back to [] in just a minute.

Well, got me too! Wow, this is just a sad company. I am sitting at my desk with the make-up all wrapped in a box to return to Sheer Cover. As your stories have taugh me...NO ONE gets a refund...others having been waiting for a refund for MONTHS! So, I have decided to cut my looses and keep the make up paying the three installments of $36!!!! Which, no! Was not disclosed. It's all good, Sheer Cover has just been reported to all local news scam watches and all business bureaus...ALL of your stories have been copied and pasted to SPREAD the word of this SCAM!

I have purchased this order and decided it wasn't exactly what i thought it would be. As well from what i understood the package was $9.95 but really was around $30.00. I was willing to pay for the first order but then cancelled my order but they send another order and i sent it back. Since then i have been charged for it again and it has not been credited to my credit card. I'm not willing to pay for a product i am not getting or do not want.

I also ordered the 9.95 kit. I ended up paying 107.00. I kept the kit since I payed for it and knew I would have to pay shipping to send it back. They do not explain any of the charges until you already receive everything. I canceled all automatic shipping and my credit card with them so they have to send paper bills to me. I am very disappointed that all of these extra charges are not specifically or even minutely explained on the infomercial or website. It ain't that great of a product.

I saw the commercial this morning, its said $9.95 + s/h. I was siked because I was happy that I was going to be able to try it. I usually use bare minerals but wanted to get this one to compare and see which is better. I called and tried to place my order. I know that usually its 29.95 but I thought that maybe they were going to charge the remainder at a later date, say a month later. I called, the guy took my name, number, address and he asked me for my credit card number. Mind you, no mention of the total cost. Usually, upstanding companies will let you know how much they are going to charge you before they actually charge you. I got suspicious and ask them. The guy said 9.95 and then 29.95 per month after the first 30 days. I said, "What!!" So what he was saying was that they were going to charge me 100+ dollars for something that usually cost 29.95. What a rip off!!! If this is how they run their company, I dont want any part of it. Get bare minerals. You wont get ripped off and they dont need to use celebrities.

What a scam, the televison comerical advertised a 90 trial for $9.99. What they don't say is they want to charge you an extra $104 over a 90 timeline for a product membership you didn't want. And in corresponding with the company to stop all of this you have to return the productÑso how does this make it a trial offering? I called and canceled and the person told me she would send return labels, which didn't happen. Then I emailed the customer support this is the response: "I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. The Sheer Cover? offer is $9.95 plus $7.95 shipping and handling, billed when your product is shipped. If you do not return your Sheer Cover? kit within 30 days, you will be billed three additional monthly payments of $29.95 to the credit card on your account. In addition you will be enrolled in the Home Delivery Program and receive a replenishment of Sheer Cover? every 90 days. Your credit card will automatically be billed $29.95 a month plus $7.95 shipping and handling for each shipment." I plan to make a formal complaint to a state consumer agency. Buyer beware and let's stop this scam!
