Received the makeup. Didn't like it. Returned it. They continue to bill me and my credit card for the makeup. I have sent dozens of e-mails and made dozens of calls to try to straighten the matter out. They are very rude and difficult to deal with. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Not only was I displeased with the product but I called customer service and I talked to a lady whom was okay at first until I said that I didn't want to use the product. Than she, started to yell at me and ask me numerous of times why I don't want to use the product and I told her once. Than she said " you know what? WHAT EVER." I than proceeded to ask her for her name bcause I wanted to talk to a supervisor. She refused to give me her name....Honestly, I'm incredibly pissed off;even just thinking about it.

Last week I saw a "special TV offer" for Sheer Cover for the special price of $9.95 (instead of $29.95). I called & ordered the basic kit for $9.95 NOTHING MORE (no extras ie: more makeup, vitamins etc.) I kept asking what my total was & I was told they were unable to tell me.NO WONDER...I received my pkg. today & found the total of my order to be $114.22 ($7.95 s/h & $6.47 state sales tax. $24.30 was charged for the FIRST PAYMENT! The second payment will be $89.92 charged on 1/2/08). I immedeately called to question this & to cancel any more shipments! Of course, I got the run-around (saying that I must have ordered more that the "BASIC" kit & could she place an order for MORE products @ a discounted "members" price. I am on a fixed income receiving disability & can't afford to be "SCREWED OVER" like this. Now I will have to find someone to take this kit back to the Post Off. & I will have to pay to have it returned to the Co. I need that extra $89.92 to pay for my med's & Dr. appoint's. & transportation. After all I've been through w/ my illness & disability, I just wanted to try to make myself look & feel a little better, especially for the holidays! I really wish I would've read these reviews BEFORE I ordered the product! THIS IS A BIG SCAM! I hope I get my money back. I hope YOU all get your money back, too! I wonder how we can get this kind of thing stopped?

I have purchase shear covers for my wife in Oct. 15 days later I received 30 day free trial from Vita power. They told me that I have agree to get free vitamin with shear covers which I have not agree to. Now my $34 dollar is lost and shear covers does not held responsible for giving my credit card information away. Shear covers or Proactive or anything that Guthy Renkers will do is sell your credit card info to third party!! It fact no BS!!

I ordered Sheer Cover for my twin daughters about 6 months ago. The customer service person asked if I wanted to try some vitamins for $1.00 with a full 100% money back if not satisfied. I DECLINED They sent the vitamins anyway which I promptly "returned to sender" the day after they arrived, along with a phone call and a letter requesting NO MORE SHIPMENTS be sent! It is now December and my credit card bill came yesterday with yet another charge for these damn things which I have never even opened once, but continue to receive every single month. I have spoken with the GRC VITA POWER PROGRAM at 888-848-2797 each & every month like clockwork as soon as my credit card bill arrives with their latest charges for an unauthorized charge for their latest shipment sent. This last billing cycle I didn't even get the stupid box to return, just the charge. Each & every time I speak with them they assure me they will cancel the nonexisting order I have never had and assure me there will be no more shipments. Well, they got it 1/2 right, they didn't send a shipment, just the bill! If someone has a great way to get this extremely unscupulous theiving company to keep their word and actually get out of my life permenately, I'd truly appreciate it. I feel the time and effort I am forced to spend each and every month to deal with these a s holes is rediculous. They have my husband & I fighting each month as their bills arrive because I was stupid enough to actually order sheer cover as a gift for my daughters. What in the hell is "Sheer Cover" doing about this big problem that arose when simply ordering their product? Thank You, Kory

I ordered the "$9.95" kit, and found they would billmy account for $29.95 for recuuring orders. Total crap, tried to cancel the order, must send it back. They don'tmake that clear. Emailed repeatedly, and got the same nonsense..."You will be billed $29.95 x 3 to pay for kit. Totally fraudulent!!!! I'm returning the unused portion, and still paying to send it back. The customer service was smart alec about it. Don't order this kit!!!!

My mom also purchased the Sheer Cover Intro Kit for $29.95 after seeing the infomercial in September. She ordered online and did not request any additional memberships or products. In October she was billed $46.21 and received another intro kit. She sent it back and called them a couple of days later and told them to close her account, refund the money and that she sent the product back. At the end of the conversation, she requested a confirmation number in case she had to call back, and they refused stating they don't use them. At the end of October she was billed $29.95 again with no receipt of product. Also, at the end of November, she was billed another $29.95. She called to confirm cancellation and get all of her money refunded totaling $106.11 in unauthorized charges. They said they were refunding the money and she should see it in a few days. DO NOT use this company/product. The product is not worth the hassle you will go through trying to stop them from sending you stuff you don't want, or charging you for stuff you don't get. We are reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission for fraud. If you would like to do the same you can find the complaint form on their website at https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup

I order Sheer cover in march to give it a try. After finding out they charge you 34 each month, I decided to cancel. I didn't like the product to pay that much each month for it. I sent it back and May and I haven't got a refund back. They said their system shows they've refuded me back to my credit card but there is no refund. I sent them my credit card statements to prove them wrong. They said it was credit to a different credit card number then the statements i sent. But there is a problem, I only have one credit card!

I intended to try the infomercial introductory offer at $9.95. It took me over six months and $159.00 to realize that they scammed me! All the calls I placed to cancel the product and the vitamins were met with pleasant reps who then did nothing! Leeza Gibbons should be ashamed of herself!

Yes, this is a scam. I also ordered from the infomercial, and was totally overcharged like all you others...I am still working on getting my money back, so far, its been 5 months and no refund to my card...and besides that, the so called sheer cover IS NOT sheer! This is really bad stuff! BEWARE!!

I too fell prey to the infomercial. I thought it was a good way to try the product for $29 and see if it lived up to the ad. I received the product and a bill for $115.02. When I call I was told it was a 90 day supply. I do not want it and have returned it. I am stuck with the $7.95 shipping plus postage to send it back. This is nothing but a scam. Leeza Gibbons should be ashamed of herself.

GOOD PRODUCT NOT WORTH HASTLE!!! It is not worth my time to get into all the rediculous problems I have had deadling with the represenatives at Sheer cover. Not only do they not tell you when you order a starter kit that in order to recieve any "member" prices there after, you WILL recieve shipments with the minimum 4 items you CAN customize if you can get anyone on the phone who knows what they are doing. Doing this FAR OUTWAYS getting "member" prices. I tried to do the simple task of signing my sister up for her birthday so that she could become a member, have the kit sent to my address to be put together in a birthday present. I was told that was possible by 5 different agents, was sent the wrong thing in the wrong name after 3 hours on the phone. I spent a total of 4 hours on the phone in the course of a week. Was put on hold for 34 minutes and forgotten about until the rep answered thinking I was a new customer and the list goes on and on. 5 reps and 3 supervisors later, I'm still trying to reverse charges and a shipment that automate with their terrible system after having tried to cancel my account numerous times. REDICULOUS UNTRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I was a customer for 6 months. I like the product it's good. However, the auto club membership scares a lot of potential customers away. Sheer cover breaks payments up thus overcharging my credit card when items are on back order, with the shipment they state monthly increments with the date they will subtract the amount from your credit card. I requested 4 times to be sent the bill in full with out the rep’s complying. Sheer cover took money out of my account not on the date they stated (overcharging my credit card). In any event I canceled my membership due to the Customer service Reps not understanding the transactions on my account, the unprofessional handling of my account, and not meeting the request I made. I sent the product back for the month of October after I canceled and the bank is waiting for its refund. I reported this to my bank and rendered them unable to gain access for transactions to my account. I was issued a temporary credit to my account so the bank will collect the dept from Sheer cover. If any Representatives of this company is reading you may want to check into your customer service department that is the root of your problem and the word of mouth can be detrimental to your company remember 1 person can tell 20 people causing a trickle effect that leads to thousands of potential buyer going with another company Bare Minerals your biggest competitor. If your take time to notice these women and men are stretching from every where imagine how many customer you lost and how many you may gain by selling a good product in a good fashion, and good form. P.S. The new thing may be popular soon is personal airbrush make-up kits. I hear the coverage is superb.

These people are liars and should be stopped! False advertising, bogus billings, cheaters and liars!! I want ALL my money back but may only get a small portion for products I did not order and certainly do not want! Do not listen to the commercials, do not listen to the customer service people, they are liars. Watch you credit card statements as they continue to charge monthly for kits even when you change your shipping frequency to every 12 weeks!! Sheer Cover is made up of liars and cheaters!!

I tried this and started getting shipments and being billed without wanting more product. It takes them a minute to bill u but 4-6 weeks to credit your account. Bare MInerals is the original and they should reap the rewards not these copy cat companies. Marianne

I ordered this from the infomercial because it was supposed to be better than Bare Minerals, which I've used for the past year. What got me to try it was the price. I figured 29.95 was better than the 59.95 I was already spending. I received the product quickly and at first I didn't like it. A few days later I ordered the Base Perfector and it made a HUGE difference in how well the product worked. When I started running low I had my next order shipped and it took two weeks for it to show up. I looked at the invoice this morning and I was not charged 29.95 as I was led to believe. I was charged 37.50 off a balance of 90.00 and they plan to charge me 29.95 for the next two months for the kit I received yesterday. This new kit contained two small bottles of cleanser and lotion, two 3g containers of powder and a huge tube of mascara that would last a normal woman about 6 moths and I never use the stuff. I sent them an email asking about the price difference (than it was stated on their commercial) then I found this site. I'm just happy I never received any of the extra mail or offers from them that so many of you seem to have gotten bombarded with. I really do like the makeup, but there is absolutely no way on Earth that I'm paying 90 bucks for these little items. I can't wait to see what response I get back from my email.

This company is a joke, They tell you that they will give you an Intro Kit for $9.95 plus S/H, and that you will also receive $90 in free gifts. What they fail to let you know if that you will be charged 3 other times in order to receive your gift. They are trying to scam people out of their money buy offering a fake $9.95 intro kit. The Kit is actually $99.80, don't be fooled. I will stick to []. Don't buy from this company.

I purchased Sheer Cover makeup in October, and they tried to talk me into two months worth of these vitamins for $2. I told them I couldn't take vitamins because they made me sick. They told me to try them and if I didn't like them I was only out $2. I just saw a $68 transaction on my credit card from GRC Vitapower vitamins. I did not ever give them my credit card number, so sheer cover must have sold them my number. I tried to cancel, but there is no bill with the box, no account number, nothing. I had to get a phone number from my bank and call them. They assured me that the minute they received my package marked REFUSED, they would refund. She assured me she cancelled. She had better hope so. I made her give me her name, and supervisor's name, as well as my customer account number, which was not on the box anywhere. I am so sick of these scam artists. I am planning to cancel my sheer cover plan as well. I don't appreciate that kind of dirty dealing.
