I order Sheer cover in march to give it a try. After finding out they charge you 34 each month, I decided to cancel. I didn't like the product to pay that much each month for it. I sent it back and May and I haven't got a refund back. They said their system shows they've refuded me back to my credit card but there is no refund. I sent them my credit card statements to prove them wrong. They said it was credit to a different credit card number then the statements i sent. But there is a problem, I only have one credit card!

I intended to try the infomercial introductory offer at $9.95. It took me over six months and $159.00 to realize that they scammed me! All the calls I placed to cancel the product and the vitamins were met with pleasant reps who then did nothing! Leeza Gibbons should be ashamed of herself!

Yes, this is a scam. I also ordered from the infomercial, and was totally overcharged like all you others...I am still working on getting my money back, so far, its been 5 months and no refund to my card...and besides that, the so called sheer cover IS NOT sheer! This is really bad stuff! BEWARE!!

I too fell prey to the infomercial. I thought it was a good way to try the product for $29 and see if it lived up to the ad. I received the product and a bill for $115.02. When I call I was told it was a 90 day supply. I do not want it and have returned it. I am stuck with the $7.95 shipping plus postage to send it back. This is nothing but a scam. Leeza Gibbons should be ashamed of herself.

GOOD PRODUCT NOT WORTH HASTLE!!! It is not worth my time to get into all the rediculous problems I have had deadling with the represenatives at Sheer cover. Not only do they not tell you when you order a starter kit that in order to recieve any "member" prices there after, you WILL recieve shipments with the minimum 4 items you CAN customize if you can get anyone on the phone who knows what they are doing. Doing this FAR OUTWAYS getting "member" prices. I tried to do the simple task of signing my sister up for her birthday so that she could become a member, have the kit sent to my address to be put together in a birthday present. I was told that was possible by 5 different agents, was sent the wrong thing in the wrong name after 3 hours on the phone. I spent a total of 4 hours on the phone in the course of a week. Was put on hold for 34 minutes and forgotten about until the rep answered thinking I was a new customer and the list goes on and on. 5 reps and 3 supervisors later, I'm still trying to reverse charges and a shipment that automate with their terrible system after having tried to cancel my account numerous times. REDICULOUS UNTRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I was a customer for 6 months. I like the product it's good. However, the auto club membership scares a lot of potential customers away. Sheer cover breaks payments up thus overcharging my credit card when items are on back order, with the shipment they state monthly increments with the date they will subtract the amount from your credit card. I requested 4 times to be sent the bill in full with out the rep’s complying. Sheer cover took money out of my account not on the date they stated (overcharging my credit card). In any event I canceled my membership due to the Customer service Reps not understanding the transactions on my account, the unprofessional handling of my account, and not meeting the request I made. I sent the product back for the month of October after I canceled and the bank is waiting for its refund. I reported this to my bank and rendered them unable to gain access for transactions to my account. I was issued a temporary credit to my account so the bank will collect the dept from Sheer cover. If any Representatives of this company is reading you may want to check into your customer service department that is the root of your problem and the word of mouth can be detrimental to your company remember 1 person can tell 20 people causing a trickle effect that leads to thousands of potential buyer going with another company Bare Minerals your biggest competitor. If your take time to notice these women and men are stretching from every where imagine how many customer you lost and how many you may gain by selling a good product in a good fashion, and good form. P.S. The new thing may be popular soon is personal airbrush make-up kits. I hear the coverage is superb.

These people are liars and should be stopped! False advertising, bogus billings, cheaters and liars!! I want ALL my money back but may only get a small portion for products I did not order and certainly do not want! Do not listen to the commercials, do not listen to the customer service people, they are liars. Watch you credit card statements as they continue to charge monthly for kits even when you change your shipping frequency to every 12 weeks!! Sheer Cover is made up of liars and cheaters!!

I tried this and started getting shipments and being billed without wanting more product. It takes them a minute to bill u but 4-6 weeks to credit your account. Bare MInerals is the original and they should reap the rewards not these copy cat companies. Marianne

I ordered this from the infomercial because it was supposed to be better than Bare Minerals, which I've used for the past year. What got me to try it was the price. I figured 29.95 was better than the 59.95 I was already spending. I received the product quickly and at first I didn't like it. A few days later I ordered the Base Perfector and it made a HUGE difference in how well the product worked. When I started running low I had my next order shipped and it took two weeks for it to show up. I looked at the invoice this morning and I was not charged 29.95 as I was led to believe. I was charged 37.50 off a balance of 90.00 and they plan to charge me 29.95 for the next two months for the kit I received yesterday. This new kit contained two small bottles of cleanser and lotion, two 3g containers of powder and a huge tube of mascara that would last a normal woman about 6 moths and I never use the stuff. I sent them an email asking about the price difference (than it was stated on their commercial) then I found this site. I'm just happy I never received any of the extra mail or offers from them that so many of you seem to have gotten bombarded with. I really do like the makeup, but there is absolutely no way on Earth that I'm paying 90 bucks for these little items. I can't wait to see what response I get back from my email.

This company is a joke, They tell you that they will give you an Intro Kit for $9.95 plus S/H, and that you will also receive $90 in free gifts. What they fail to let you know if that you will be charged 3 other times in order to receive your gift. They are trying to scam people out of their money buy offering a fake $9.95 intro kit. The Kit is actually $99.80, don't be fooled. I will stick to []. Don't buy from this company.

I purchased Sheer Cover makeup in October, and they tried to talk me into two months worth of these vitamins for $2. I told them I couldn't take vitamins because they made me sick. They told me to try them and if I didn't like them I was only out $2. I just saw a $68 transaction on my credit card from GRC Vitapower vitamins. I did not ever give them my credit card number, so sheer cover must have sold them my number. I tried to cancel, but there is no bill with the box, no account number, nothing. I had to get a phone number from my bank and call them. They assured me that the minute they received my package marked REFUSED, they would refund. She assured me she cancelled. She had better hope so. I made her give me her name, and supervisor's name, as well as my customer account number, which was not on the box anywhere. I am so sick of these scam artists. I am planning to cancel my sheer cover plan as well. I don't appreciate that kind of dirty dealing.

After seeing the sheercover infomercial and being familiar with mineral makeup I thought I would give it a try for my 17year old daughter. I "WAS" impressed with the covering of the wine birthmark on the infomercial and how others loved it. Upon ordering the "starter kit", I was bombarded with magazine orders and vitamins and bigger kits I have said NO each and every time the sales rep would try to persuade me into these items. I should have taken that as a clue to the future outcome of ordering this. No! No! No! had to have been said several times if not more. I said ONLY the starter kit it was a gift for someone and I don't like committing to products without trying them. We did receive our starter kit without issue. However, the makeup was not flawless and NOTHING like bareminerals!! I should have never tried this product. It left my daughters face cakey looking, you could definitley tell she had on makeup. The facial wash and moisturizer irritated her skin. She quit using it and we attempted to use the powder. It's not a good product at all. Now as for the lipgloss pallet, it looks and works like the kind that comes in a "childs makeup play kit" at a walgreens or walmart. I called in to let them know we were NOT happy with the product and was told to send in the unused portions and get a guaranteed refund for the starter kit. As of last night going through my online banking there was a charge for 97.80 from Sheer Cover for new kit!!!!! I DID NOT ORDER IT!!! DO NOT WANT IT!! I called into Customer Service who once again gave poor service and stated that package was on the way and that I had return to sender. I told the cust serv rep ther was NO WAY i was going to do that because they can deny ever receiving it, she then stated I can take it to post office and pay for shipping and signature verification AT MY OWN EXPENSE!! from then on it can take up to SIX WEEKS to get the refund back. UNBELIEVEABLE I'm getting upset just writing this. Also there was charge on card for $1.00 for magazine something or another, and today as I write this there is a LIVE T.V shopping $8.00 charge. Being livid over this I was told there is NO SUPERVISOR available and sorry for the misunderstanding but Oh by they way since the facial wash/moisturizer didnt' work so well I CAN ORDER products Individually..Hmm did you NOT HEAR my complaints spoken in clear and perfect English. I will NEVER EVER recommend this product and would advise ANYONE even thinking of dealing with this company to please try BAREMINERALS which can be purchased at a Makeup store. NO MORE ORDERING ONLINE for me, what a bad experience. I was told my reorder membership has been cancelled do I believe it NO! so I had to block them from billing my cc. I wished there was a way to contact thier corporate office or LEEZE GIBBONS herself to let her know whats going on. It's ridiculous to say the least! Gina

I'd like to see a class action suit taken up against this company. This country has laws against sending products to people via mail for things that they didn't order. I did not sign up for an automatic shipment. They signed me up and feel that I somehow agreed to buy their product. All I wanted to buy was a sample. BUYER BEWARE!

i saw the infomercial for sheercover in a introductory price of 9.99 so i called right away it was a great price to try the product. I received it tried it did not like it left my face cackey so i called to cancelled two days after i received the product, when i called they told me that they can cancelled my membership but i had to pay them 90.00 dollards for the 90-day kit because the 9.99 was for starting the product so i had to pay for the remaining 3 months that they send me..put it this way ..the lady dint even make sense...so i told her to put a stop on my credit card but to make sure i had to go out of my way and contact my credit card company to put a block.... now im worried i will go to collections for the 90.00 they clame i owe them...never i again im trusting a infomercial ....someone needs to do something about them giving false advertisment!

I attempted to place an order over a month ago and come to find out they cancelled my membership stating that there were too many returns or credits on my account, when in fact there was only one return due to them sending me the wrong product and one credit due to them sending the product to a wrong address and charged me for two orders. On top of this when I placed the order a month ago, they never told me it was on back order and it took me almost 4 weeks to get one product. And to add to this they used the wrong bank account to deduct the purchase from and now I have an overdraft charge that they won't pay!! It's such a shame that their customer service sucks, because I really do like the product!!

All the complaints from the web are so true. As I reviewed some of the complaints on the website - I immediate call to cancel my account. I even get the confirmed email they inactivate my account. But they continue sent products and charge my account for month after months. This is the most terrible company I have ever experienced by ordering on the phone with the credit card. I learned my lesson never go to buy any product over the phone or on line with my credit card.

I have had a similar experience with Sheer Cover. I ordered on line after watching the infomercial. It sucked so I returned it. Then got billed again and received more. I emailed multiple times to tell them I didn't like the product and want them to stop charging my Visa. They said they won't until it is all paid in full. So they continue to charge $37 every few weeks until my account was over drawn and in addition to Sheer Cover charges I had a $35 overdraft fee. My next step is to cancel my credit card to stop it from being charged. What a scam and the makeup is super cakey and lipstick is gross....

I really thought that sheer cover really works because i have tried other products and got pimples afterwards. After looking at the infomercial a couple of times, i got convinced that maybe sheer cover really was for me by looking at how one of their client can cover the birthmark on her face. Well turns out that it didn't help me at all. I couldn't even cover some little spots on my face and i do actually get pimples afterwards too. The minerals were flaky when you put it on, and the 30-day kit comes with a mini color palette that contains a creme eyeliner which they don't even provide the eyeliner brush, how am i supposed to use it! Also, my on-the-go brush doesn't work. I've never used it ever since i got my kit. Cancelling my membership wasn't a problem for me but when i first ordered my kit, they told me that they were out of stock which i had to wait twice as long for it. i got so mad that i was about to cancel my order but i didn't. if i had seen this website, i would have never ordered sheer cover

I ORDERED THE PRODUCT AND HAVEN'T EVEN USED IT YET. WHEN I ORDERED THE SHEER COVER I TOLD THEM I DIDNOT WANT TO BE A MEMBER! I SAID IT SEVERAL TIMES. ALLI WANTED WAS THE TRIAL PRODUCTS FOR $29.95 AND THAT'S ALL. NOW THERE OUR NEW CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE WON'T HEPL ME BECAUSE THEY SAY THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN SHIPPED. I TOLD THEM I WOULD REFUSE THE PRODUCT AND THEY SAID I NEED TO ACCEPT THEM AND TAKE THEM TO THE POST OFFICE WHERE I HAVE TO PAY TO GET THEM SHIPPED BACK AND THEY WILL NOT REIMBURSE ME FOR THAT. I SAID THIS IS NOT MY FAULT I SAID NO SEVERAL TIMES. AT THAT POINT I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND WAS LEFT ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES AND FINALLY HUNG UP. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!!!

SCAM!!! That's all I can call it! I ordered this because I thought I would give it a try. I have very sensitive skin, so I said, hmm. Why not?! Well, I'm usually one to look things up online before buying. Too bad I ordered this one out of impulse. I called right back after reading this and they told me ... wait, I'll let you guess! Go on......Ding ding ding! Exactly! That they could not find my order, therefore could not cancel until it was shipped. That is the bigges BS I've ever heard! I even told that lady that!! Well guess what lady! Since I couldn't cancel w/ you, I canceled my credit card. ALL charged will be blocked and if that package does come, it'll be returned to sender. I fell for this scam yes, but I'm glad I have a wonderful bank who actually take care of their customers, unlike these people.
