Well, I ordered Sheer Cover as a total impulse buy. I was excited to receive it and wanted to learn more about the product and hear reviews...unfortunately what I learned was that so many people have had awful experiences. It was difficult to find a good review and the few I found, people had bought the product in stores. I called immediately to cancel my order. However, apparently you cannot cancel your order before it is sent out...I find that VERY VERY odd...I would not order this product...There are enough headaches in life...splurging on makeup to make yourself feel good should not be one of them...

I was doing my daily workout on the treadmill when I saw the Sheer Cover ad for the $29.95 fee. It sounded good and I interrupted my workout to order the product, which I thought would only take a couple of minutes. Well, by the time the salelady had offered me every conceivable option and additional products, which I declined, it took much longer than expected. Judging from the manner in which the product was presented on the infomercial, I tried to overlook the inconvenience. Two weeks passed and I still had not received my order. I was to be out of town the following week, and had not purchased more makeup because I assumed I would be receiving my order of Sheer Cover long before I was to leave. That wasn't to be the case. I contacted Sheer Cover for an estimated delivery time only to find that after the lengthy ordering session I WAS NOT EVEN IN THE SYSTEM. They had no record of me. I have a suspicion that the sales people get a commission on the additional products and options customers purchase, and because I had declined them all, I just wasn't worth the lady's time. I was furious. I asked to speak to a manager only to be told there are no managers on duty and that I could file a complain on-line! In other words, they're happy to take your money - if you can convince the sales lady to honor your order - but if you're not happy with the product OR service, they don't want to hear about it! The lady told me there is no way to determine who had taken my order, and thus, no accountability assigned to those taking the orders. The customer is solely left to handle any potential problem or concern. What's more, I had given confidental credit card information to a lady that bears no accountability for not only the order, but what about the potential illegal use of this information? It would also be untraceable. Needless to say, I will never do business with them again.

I ordered the trial kit the other night online after seeing the infomercial. I was kind of excited but I should have done my research first because after reading this site I immediately changed my mind. I just called and the girl was pretty nice, but she said my order couldn't be canceled because it was already in progress. She did cancel the monthly shipments though and closed my account. She said to get a refund I would need to mail back the order that is on its way to me. I told her I had found a website where people had been told their account was canceled and then they were repeatedly charged so I wanted to make sure I was really out of everything. She said she knew the website and that the people on it were confused, that they had just put their account on hold because they had too much product so they kept getting billed. I'm not sure if that's true but she said she would send me a cancellation confirmation in the mail. I will let you all know if it happens as easily as she said.

Sheer Cover is horrible! I called because the $29.95 offer for all the products the into kit includes seemed like a great offer. ive never liked to wear foundations because i didnt want to feel like i was wearing a mask, but i thought the mineral foundation would be something great to try. well, the products are nice, but not great. the concealer works well, but the powders werent exactly what i expected and i did not look like the girls in the infomercial (who had professional makeup artists of course). but i thought the price was still reasonable, so i wasnt going to complain..... BUT THEN i noticed my card was charged again, so i called customer service to find out and they said i was going to be charged AGAIN in a month even though i didnt order anything else nor received any more product. i didnt realize thaty by ordering the intro kit you actually enrolled in a 3-month membership..... that was not made clear to me by the infomercial or by the customer service rep i spoke to on the phone when i ordered. and certainly the product you receive is not worth the $90 they end up charging you. i dont wear makeup everyday or even a lot, so it might last me 3 months, but it definitely would not last 3 months for someone who plans to wear it everyday and look like the girls in the informercial. the lotion with spf works well, i like to apply it under the makeup, but the cleanser they give you made my skin burn the few times i used it, so i stopped using it. it actually made my skin redder and more irratated. when i tried to cancel they told me i had to send the product back to get a refund, but what was really sketchy is that the customer service rep told me that if i didnt see a refund in 4-6 weeks to call back because they "may have lost my order" and id have to talk to a supervisor..... WHO TELLS YOU THAT? thats a big RED FLAG! another thing: i dont know if its related, but i saw another charge to my account during this time and i have no idea what it is. i checked out the website from the charge (onelogvoip.com) and it appeared to be some long-distance telephone service company. they charged me $100 and when i called the number that appeared on my bank account next to the charge (granted the website had no contact info, no email or phone number or address) it went straight to voicemail and said to leave your order number and your complaint and they would "get back to you as soon as possible"...... needless to say, im never hearing form them again. ALSO.... the vitamins sheer cover offers! they talked me into buying the trial vitamins ("just a dollar more" they said) with the sheer cover order.... well, a month later i get more viatmins and see two cahrges on my card, totalling just under $60. well, luckily i was able to send those back and get my money back, but it was a big hassle to do so. when i first noticed the charge i called to tell them i didnt not order it and wanted to cancel, well they said i coudnt cancel yet because i hadnt received the product, and i would have to wait til i recieved it, then ship it back.... does that make any sense to you??? basically, DO NOT ORDER SHEER COVER!!!

i also ordered this produced after seeing the infomercial...this was the deal i thought i was getting: As a member, you'll receive a replenishment of Sheer CoverĀ® every 90 days and your credit card will automatically be billed $29.95 a month plus $7.95 s&h for each shipment."now i realize that it was partially my fault because i thought the part "you will be bill $29.95 a month plus $7.95 s&h for EACH shipment" meant just that. even if i only received it every 90 days it was still $29.95 plus s&h FOR EACH SHIPMENT! well i finally realized i only had 2 shipments and was out 5 payments- my fault i didn't pay more attention!i called and canceled...next day i was charged again!(twice in one month!)called them back and a very rude young woman said i still owed 2 more payments for the shipment that was on it's way even if i return it!!! i'm so confused! i told her i knew i shouldn't have been so trusting and negligent, but that company totally screwed me...please don't buy sheercover. i'll never see my money again, but hope this saves someone else. M.P.K.

This is a scam to steal your money! I ordered the product and then read all of the bad reviews about the product and the company. So, within 10 mins, I called and tried to cancel. They refused. They have a real scam in place where once they get your credit card information they will keep charging it every few months or so whether you want them to or not. I spoke with several of the "customer service" people who are all trained in the scam and kept saying "call back". The only way to get rid of this company is to close your credit card. They are thieves and should be stopped!

I saw the infomercial and wanted to try Sheer Cover. I called and asked if I could order the trial without the automatic delivery. They said I could, but it was going to cost more money. I have not had good experiences with auto delivery in the past and only wanted the trial offer. They refused. I now use [], they allowed me to order at the into price without the auto delivery.

I saw the info commercial one night and thought I would try the product. I thought why not for only $29.95 to see if I would like it. Then after sending my order through I relized they put me on this monthly program. Next thing I know Aug was here and another $29.95 was charged to my account and when the product came I called them inquiring how to return it, I also asked the lady to cancel any subscripition I had thinking it had been taken care of and all I had to do is return the make-up. Yeah until Sept. 1st and another $29.95 payment was drawn from my account?? I called them again and the woman to me that the first shipment was a 3 month supply and came out in three monthly payments of $29.95 that's $90 bucks??? I asked if I could return it like I did the last shipment. She said I could just send it to the address on the form. I am going to mail it out tomorrow. But I feel like there info commercials are very misleading and they need a better system! I will never buy anything from Sheer Cover again!!

They don't even let you cancel your order before it shipped. Your account is supposedly "not accessible" until you credit card is charged! This company is ridiculous!

My story seems vaguely familiar to everyone else's! I bought the product on advice of a friend and I actually liked it. I agree, the product was miniscule and then you actually get billed monthly for one shipment every 3 months. After my trial pack I received a regular size pack but it had the wrong colors for me in it. So I called to cancel/change my order and the cs rep said I didn't have an account (hmmm, they new my bank acct info!) and couldn't help me. There was also a minimum money amount for a purchase. I called back the next day and spoke with a very nice gentleman and he said he'd cancel my acct. and refund my money and I could keep all the product I had. So it worked out pretty sweet for me in the end. The key is, Keep Following Up!! Bottom line: I won't be buying from Sheer Cover again.

I bought sheer covers for me and a friend in May. In June, the product was delivered and the cost was taken out of my b.account. I looked at the product and thought it was crap. It was small and look like make up you buy from a 99 cent store. So I returned it. I received my credit. In July, I received an email indicating that another shippment was coming; so more money was taken out and another product was delivered. I called the Customer Rep and told them that whatever program they have me in please take me out and cancel whatever account I have with them; I do not want anymore of their product. She was nice, she said she has canceled my account and I will be creditted once the product was returned. September, I noticed they took out more money. This time, no notice and no product. I called customer rep and he appologized and said there was some screw up and everything is already in the proccess of being refunded. AND then I went through my bank statements and noticed in August (I can't believe it slipped pass me!), they took money out!!!! I did not receive any product in August at all. WHY would they take money out and not send a product --- even if there was some kinda mix up?!?!?! It is some kinda screwed up scam that if you're not careful and checking our accounts periodically, you will be loosing money without knowing.

i orderd sheer coverage and tried it because of all the hype surronding it and it actually made my face break out worse than ever. i speciffically asked the lady on the phone if it can be used if you have exzema patches and rosacia sorry can't spell today. and of course the woman goes well did you watch the commercial it does work on both of thoose. so i stupidly orderd it and spent good money before this hole discount one they are doing now. well of course it worked once my face looked great for all of 10 min then my face started to itch and my face was starting to instantly break out god it sucked. so i washed it off and called the 800 number to see if there was anything i could do to make my face feel better and the woman talked to me like i was lying through my teeth and that just got me even more pist. so now i ended up going to bare minerals and i will tell you what no breakouts no itching and it looks alot better then that sheer coverage. but for all thoose who don't like to who don't like to sign up for that monthly thing go to ULTA they sell it and it is cheeper then buying it online or off the tv. so hope this helps

I joined the "club" and my contract with sheer cover stated that I would be billed $29.95 a month. I received my first order then a month later received my 3 months supply, and I was billed $97.80 on my credit card. I called Sheer Cover to ask why I was not billed $29.95 and was told it did not take and that I could send the product back for full refund. I asked to speak with a manager and the customer service rep, told me all managers were on the phone and that she was crediting my credit card as we speak and that I could keep the make up. That was August 1st and I still have not received a refund on my credit card. I phone 14 days later and was told that I could send a copy of bank statement showing my account was not credited, when I refused to show my financial history they said I could return the product. I sent a letter from my bank stating no credit had reached my bank and to this day I still have not received my credit., they are a scam and I will never purchase from Sheer Cover again.

I saw the infomercials on TV and was very interested about SheerCover because I've had a good experience with BareMinerals. After I talked to customer service about the product on asking what the difference was between the starter kit and the 30-day intro kit. She said it was a 90 day supply and was VERY VERY VERY RUDE to me. She talked to me like I was a dumba**, and I was very offended. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. so I didn't order the products. GOOD THING I DIDNT! i found this website after I talked to the lady. :0 thanks everyone! but if u really really want to order a mineral makeup I really really recommend BAREMINERALS! they are everything that they say!

I am very dissapointed with customer service (sales rep on the phone) she started out saying one thing, then changed up in an instant trying to sell me more stuff, when i stopped her to ask what the heck she was talkig about she got instantly rude, because i started asking questions, after i questioned her about this (club) she threw up at me after the convo, she said "I told u about the club first) no she didnt the word club didn't come out of her mouth til the end of the convo, the rep then said "do you want this stuff or not??" i said no, she said why not, you obviously need it if you are calling, then said my order will be here soon, i told her to cancel i don't want it, she then hung up in my face, i called right back to make sure the order was cancelled, guess what i got, "No answer, then a hang up, then another no ans, etc" These people are a scam in my opinion and if my card is chared, i will start a class action on them, so order with care and at your own risk, have a wonderful day, totaly dissapointed!! They say I ordered and received their product. I contacted them and told them that I never ordered or received, but they still sent a bill to a collection agency. I have argued and discussed with their reps and never get the issue resolved. I am reporting to BBB and will be inquiring into a class action suit against this scam and damages to credit. I am now arguing with a collection agency but I refuse to pay for a product I did not ask for, or receive or ever want. This is now 2 items from KathyGunther that has been a scam and will take me forever to straighten out. Beware of these tactics, as they are harmful to your credit.

I was going to order Sheer Cover, but have changed my mind. I've seen the commercials many times, and I got to thinking there's always a different celebrity there with Leeza. I wonder why? Anyway, I see some people posted here they prefer bareMinerals, but you know what, I just went to their web-site and they also have a bareMinerals Club and if you order their mineral make up online you are forced to sign up for the club otherwise your order doesn't go through. Just like with Sheer Cover;s club! Looks like this is a whole scam either way! If I am going to try mineral powder make-up, I might as well go to the store and buy the stuff there by Revlon or Neutrogena, or go to a Bare Escentuals Boutique in person. No more on-line beauty stuff thanks to those club memberships that are such a hassle to cancel!

Please do not order product! The agents are very misguiding and uneducated to the product they are selling. One agent suspended the account and it was great but money still was being deducted from my account. Total disgust with the manager along with agents. If you are looking for customer service you are better off at []. If there are any complaints they make sure that is not being offered as conveince to the customer to act on . So buyer beware!
