Do NOT ORDER this product! It is a scam. Its not as good as Bare Minerals, but the worst part is that they charge you WAY more than promised. I only wanted to try it for 30 days for $29.99 as seen on the infomercial. Then I canceled, but they still sent me more, and charged me almost $100 dollars. I called them and they said they would fix the problem if I sent the new stuff back. They were about to hang up, but I said, "I'm not paying for shipping when you're the one that made the mistake" so they ended up sending me something to send it back so I don't have to pay for shipping. But if I hadn't said anything, they would have expected me to pay. Don't let these scam artists take advantage of you. Even though they claim it will be ok, I'm still calling my credit card to make sure they can no longer access my account, just in case.

When I called to order the makeup, they told me they were upgrading my shipping for free and I would have the product in 5-7 business days. Three weeks later, (they had charged my credit card 15 days before it arrived) I finally got it. I have a slight red mark on my cheek that I have been contemplating getting lazered. I decided to hold off until next winter and thought I would try this product after seeing it's supposed effectiveness on birthmarks during the infomercial. It does not work. It hardly offers any coverage and I did not like the feel of the powder or the concealer at all. The brush they give you for the powder application is a joke. I had to use my typical powder brush after to spread the powder out evenly. It still looked and felt funny. The concealer brush is decent. The makeup just felt cheap. If you are looking for this kind of product, stick to bare escentuals. This is the last time I am ever ordering something off TV. Alyssa Milano just looked so good in the commercials and everywhere she's been popping up lately it had me convinced!

I am so glad I found this site. I will actually be writing Sheer Cover my story in an attempt to make them acknowledge the difficulties they have provided women Here's my story its quite long.... Back in August 2007, I too had tried the Sheer Cover kit 30 day money back guarantee with the hope that I could finally wear “healthy” makeup that would hide your flaws without being cakey, just like a lot of other women I’m sure thought the same thing. I tried the product but found that it simply was not going to work for me. The product had claimed so many things yet it failed when put to the test. The only good things were the great brushes I was able to keep when I returned the kit. I sent it back in the allotted timeframe and even paid a little extra to have a delivery confirmation receipt. I waited, and waited and finally checked on my delivery confirmation and saw that it had been delivered to their “Warehouse”. I called asking about when I should expect my money back and they said that they didn’t receive it yet however that may be because sometimes it takes them awhile to locate it in the warehouse and enter in the returned product to issue a refund. I was told 4-6 weeks for a refund. I was appalled but decided to be patient; it was only $17.86. However getting my refund back proved to be like pulling teeth. I’ve never had the experience of fighting for my money back as vehemently as with this company. They either have hired the most unknowledgeable incompetent customer service reps out there or their computer system is too complicated for even them to understand. As it turns out…my refund never came….and there had been a few times when I really needed that $17 but I waited it out. As a result if they had deposited the money into my account when they said they would I wouldn’t have bounced a check and wouldn’t have acquired the non-sufficient fees that I did. $210.00 worth. I finally called in late October and was told that my refund would appear in my account “any day now”. Well it didn’t so I called again and again and was finally told that they had mixed up my account with another account I had with Guthy-Renker where I still had a balance. I even told the lady I was speaking to that I didn’t care if they put my refund as a credit on the other account as long as it was going somewhere. After she checked with a supervisor she said they would finally take care of this and put it back on my debit card in no time. I remember asking her if this would be the last time I would have to call and she told me yes. Okay so I thought I’d have victory once and for all in a matter of days. This was back in mid-November. So by late December I was more than a little peeved with this company when my refund had not shown up. So I called again and yelled my whole story at the poor customer service rep that was unfortunate enough to take my call that day. Yet this time I was told my credit had been posted to my account on Dec 10th . I told him he was mistaken because it never showed in my account. So he put me on hold to talk to someone smarter than he was to determine what had happened. After being on hold for awhile he came back on and STILL told me it had posted in my account and that I needed to call my bank. So I did. Even my bank said that it hadn’t posted so they put in a claim. I immediately called Sheer Cover and told them that I put out a claim and that they needed to refund me pronto. Because of the non-sufficient funds I had acquired previously due to the credit not showing up I later found those funds back in my account along with the temporary $17.86 in February 2008. Unfortunately, the claim went over 60 days and Sheer Cover had yet to refund me therefore in April the bank took back out of my account the $210.00 and the $17.86. Right when rent was due of all things. I was told to contact Sheer Cover again and when they posted my refund to my account to call the bank back and the funds would be refunded to my account. Two weeks ago I called Sheer Cover and the person I spoke to this time told me that my debit card had been kicked of the computer system back in September so that was why I wasn’t getting credited! I provided him my card and was told yet again I would receive my refund in 3-5 business days. SO six business days later I called and complained that I still had not received it. They basically told me to be patient! It did finally post the next day. But only $9.88 of the full $17.86. It was minus the shipping and handling of $7.95 because that is considered a miscellaneous charge and was sent by check. I spoke to my bank and they said that MAYBE it would still count if I deposited the check and then called and have someone in the Claims Department verify the check was from Sheer Cover and part of that refund and see if I am eligible for the $210.00. So as of April 14, 2008 I’m still waiting now for a check Sheer Cover told me they sent for $7.95 so that I can put this whole mess behind me and have the $210.00 I deserve for their lack of customer service back in my account. I should be compensated for this whole ordeal. Hope that I don’t have to wait long……We’ll see… Jennifer Clark AKA Pissed off Mama

I ordered the intro product on 3-38-08 and come 4-11-08 I had not recieved this product so i called and they said that it was on back order, I found out i was being charged 108$ for something i was told they would charge 39$ for. They said they would send me a "free gift" and i never recieved that either. When i called to cancell on friday they said ok its done but turns out they ran the transaction on saturday. Then I called today and my bank said that they were trying to run the order through today. I was furious and called tham again turns out they still had not canceled my account and my order was still on "backorder". He said my bank was wrong and that i should not be charged and he refused to give me a conformation number for the cancelation.

I saw the Sheer Cover Infomercial and ordered the product as a trial. The make-up made my skin look orange and then I got a second package from Sheer Cover and was charged again. I sent the unopened box back and put "did not order" on the box. I then sent them a letter of explaination and let them know not to send me anymore of the product. I have contacted my Visa and told them not to accept any billing from Sheer cover. They had charged me $79.95 for the product when it was advertized for $29.95. They should be sued.

I ordered this product in 2006. I ordered the 1 time trial offer for $29.95. Didn't like it, but didn't seem to get it across to Sheer Cover. Received an auto-ship order which I didn't agree to and they kept billing my credit card. Talk to Sheer Cover Reps, credit card company, etc., finally got it settled and guess what, they turn you over to a collection agency for the $29.95. Still fighting it. Never never will I order from Sheer Cover or their affiliates with Guthry Rinker.

I loved the product but they are LIARS. I ordered a $29.95 product then received a bill for over $119 tried calling was supposed to get calls back still even tried paying the $119 because the product was really good and then they sent it into collections because they NEVER CALL BACK I paid if full over $119 for three deliveries and NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $29.95 to reactivate and that they would send me brushes that I could give as gifts instead. What the heck is that? I really and truly liked the product but they as a company suck!

I purchased the intro pack of sheer cover for $29.95 and my understanding was that if I wanted to continue receiving this product I would be billed $29.95 a month and receive monthly shipments "wrong" you actually get billed $29.95 a month on your credit card and you only receive 1 pkg every 3 months however they do not send you 3 months worth of supplies. sheer cover does not work no where near as good as it does on the commercial (not suprised) from now on I will not buy cosmetics from a commercial it is all about getting your credit card number and here is the catch if you get billed for an item that either you weren`t happy with or you did`nt want you have to jump through hoops to try to get customer service to fix the problem I think they make it so irratating that you give up.

i ordred sheercover on 9th feb, the advisers were soo nice and helpful, was told once my payment went through i would be dispatched my product. i call them back about 2 weeks later to find out if all was good just to be told that the maxium waiting for process was 28days. so i left it to that, on 19 march i call back to be told that the shipment was still in the US and that once they recive the product i would be sent it without fail, the advisor also mentioned that the system was faulty and that my order was not been reconised and that it will not count me in the dispatch invoice!!!!!.........so he said that he will reorder my product and assured that i would not have to wait as long as previous!...he also promised that he would keep track for me as "GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE" as i was by now furious. yet again i called about a week later to be told that they had the product in stock but are waiting for my bank to authorise the payment, called bank who advised nothing was applyed for!, called guthy renker yet again for the millionth time they said i had to wait........on 2 april almost 2 mths later the payment was taken out of my account i was told wait 5 working days for delivery.......i waited and guess what still no sheercover!!!!!.....i spoke to a manger who promised on friday last week that he was to refund the full amount back into my acc by wednsday...he said that it was royal mails fault and that they had lost my product and that there was no way they can track my product as its not sent recored delivery... I WAS MAD AS HELL they keep pass the blame!.....today is wednsday i spoke to my bank and nothing was put back in my acc, my bank want to take actions against them as part of their procedure.... i called them back AGAIN and spoke to another manager who said that the manager that i had spoken to on friday gave me the wrong information and that he should have sent me a form for me to sing so that they can check it against royal mails forms to see if i am LYING about not reciving my goods!!!!!!!!!!!!! by know i was soooo mad that i was literally in tears because i had spent almost 3 mths calling these people just to be told i had to fill forms out to get my money back...i have been on that phone for almost 15 hrs with them throughout, being passed around, speaking to different advisors, getting wrong info, being on hold and listening to that woman telling me that i should get my order soon over and over again..........this manager got it bad from me i cussed and cursed till she know excatly how i felt, i told her that i was not waitng for anything to be sent by them by post because obviously they were not capable of sending anthing anyway, so she emailed it to me and i filled it out just now!!!!!............i just want to see how long it takes this time to get my money back.....i have never in all my life had to go throuth what i had to with any other company ever.........its all one big scam i am really thing of taking action against them i will get some legal advise asap......DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PPL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I ordered this stuff and both bare essentials and Loreal beat it by miles - Loreal at a fraction of the cost. I was put on auto shipment and when the money was charged to my card, I called and cancelled my order. I received the package and returned it immediately - insured and with signature confirmation. It has been over one month and still they have not returned my money. It is disgusting that they are allowed to do business. All my emails to them are met with "auto" responses as they have no real people there to help. I will never do business with them again.

The make up is very messy and not worth the price they charge. Hard to canel orders because they have your credit card number and just keep charging and charging. I finally had to canceled my credit card to get it to stop. Then I got a bill from Credit Manager Carol Thomas stating if I don't pay she will be forced to send my account to a collection agency and this will have a negative impact on my credit I quote. I think Sheercover needs to at their canceling procedures, all the way to the bank thats why its set up that way. I will never have a good thing to say about Sheercover or do I look at Leesa Gibbons the same. Sheercover and Guthy Renker are a scam and a rip off.

Just wanted to give you an update on my situation. I contacted the company via their website and actually got a response from: M. Davis Correspondence Specialist Sheer Cover. This person wanted me to give them the information as to what I actually received to what I actually paid for (reminder, I purchased the intro offer, and asked for a 3 month supply and only received part of the intro to the tune of over $90). I did just what was asked and just got an email today that I will be refunded. It is supposed to take 1-2 billing cycles to be refunded. We shall see what occurs. Again, this is a live and learn situation. If you are still having issues, contact them at the email above and hopefully you will get some results. Just remember to keep your emails until this your situation is resolved. Again, when you cancel, make sure you get a cancel confirmation number. I still will not recommend this product. I tried it, it literally melts after a few hours especially if you follow the how to guide. I am sticking with Revlon & Loreal.

The prices advertised on TV are deceptive. The money you pay is only an installment. they will continue to bill your credit card every month. Be careful!!!!

First of all does not cover a thing. Also they keep billing my card even though i cancelled the first week and it was not 9.95.Ihad to cancel my card and get a new one.watch out people.

I ordered the product after believing all that is offered in the advertisement, however i was billed for two months when only receiving one months product. The following month another box arrived which was most disappointing as i had already cancelled future orders. I would not recommend the product because its all hyped and does not deliver the claims. Lisa should not put her name to such products as the deception is not worth it. claims should also be monitored to prevent consumers into deception

I cancelled my order on March 18th and was charged $89+ a few days ago. I called customer service. They said I had cancelled and then she said oh you have to send it back well then why did not someone tell me when I cancelled there was a balance and/or send a letter or email on how to send it back and why. Never a word. Shame on Leeza Gibbons for even lending her name to such a scam. I thought bait and switch was illegal. Should have known nothing is free and too good to be true. Do not order from them or use this site. Save yourself the grief.

I ordered the $9.95 ($17.95 w/ S&H) in January. I hated it. It didn't not cover and was not like and "air brush" as Melissa Gilbert was highly paid to say. I cancelled, yet over the past 3 months I've been charged and additional $89.92 and that makeup is definitely NOT worth it. BUYER BEWARE!!! I've reported them to the BBB for all over this charging my card and not cancelling hassle!

I received the trial package of Sheer Cover. A couple of the items were okay, but most of it did not blend with my complexion. I called to cancel so I would not receive anything elso, but the next month my card was charged again, but I didn't receive any products. cancel the next order , but it was still put on my debit card.

I purchased Sheer Cover during the fall of 2007. I only found this site after the purchase and after cancelling the magazines that were supposed to be free, not! and trying to untangle the customer service mess, I cancelled my card and called it a day. I was afraid to use the makeup on my face but did try to cover a small scar on my thigh, what a joke. I have two eyes and I did not dare use that eye makeup. Do not purchase.!!!
