This is the biggest scam around! I just completed a phone call to try and return the product, and 3 supervisors later, have been told NO return is possible. The garments are of the poorest quality I have ever purchased. I bought the products for a wedding and couldn't use them..<br />

It took well over 4 weeks from the date of purchase to finally receive the goods. Now SNL proceeds to tell me that I received it within 10 days; therefore my return period is void. I have contacted the postmaster, the BBB, and my bank to dispute this matter.<br />

haha yes im a sucker too!!! I brought the slim and lift to wear for my 21st birthday party as i knew there were lots of photos to be taken. Well when I tryed it on i could hardly get it past my thighs!! I thought to my self ohh crap they sent me the wrong size!!! but no it was actualy the right size, but increadibly tight. I did manage to wear it for a few hours at my party but had to take it off because it kept rolling down at the back - soooo annoying! I enjoyed myself more at the party once i took it off because i felt more comfortable, i diddnt care what i looked like anymore lol..........so dont bother buying it ladies not worth the money!

What a relief to learn that I am not the only one feeling like a fool! I am getting married shortly and wanting the wedding dress to fit nicely, I ordered this item. I am 5'2" and 140 lbs with just a little "pooch" in the middle. I ordered this even more than just one size up (xlarge) to be safe...hahahha.. my story is the same as all the others: couldn't get it past my hips! Try going over the head instead? Not going to work either. Even with HELP from another individual, I was never able to get the item all the way on and then had to work like the dickens to get the dang thing OFF again. I am cracking up as I write this! What a joke! Yes, I emailed the company (Thanes) and asked for my money back and where I could return this garbage...no response, still have one more auto payment to go. And THAT is not so funny!

Well now ladies, it looks like I am not the only fat ass out there that has been duped! I weigh in at 219 lbs, I definately need help sucking in my gut, hips and thighs. My ass, I am perfectly happy with junk in the trunk. I bought the slim n' lift, and I bought it a size up thinking I was being safe in fitting. However, I was grunting, groaning, and cursing trying to get the damn thing on! By the time I got it up my hips and to my stomach thats as far as it would go. I had almost 5 inches to go before the material would touch my vajay-jay. I couldnt budge it up any further. it was seriously stuck (felt like glued) to my skin and suffocating me (cutting off circulatin EVERYWHERE it touched). I screamed almost crying (VERGE OF CLAUSTROFOBIA), I screamed out for my boyfriend to come help me I COULD NOT MOVE or breathe, and all I could think about was trying to pry it off! I had so furiously and stubbornly tried to MAKE it fit, I was stuck in it, and I was stuck very tightly. He and I both had to yank and push to get it off. When I finally got it off, I was so frustrated and mad I kicked it across the room in good riddance. Take it from me ladies, NOT WORTH THE PAIN!!!!!!

I ordered this product in November. I STILL have not received it. After reading the comments below, I am going to ask for a refund, instead of waiting for it to be delivered for the 3rd time! I bought it in November, didn't receive it via the delivery service they use. I found out they had my address wrong, then I had to wait for them to mail me a form. I filled out the form, returned it, and waited till February 15th, which was 15 "business days" after they suppossedly mailed it again. I still did not receive it. I too spoke to Theresa, their supposed supervisor, who told me I would have to fill out yet another form, and then wait again for the item to be mailed to me., She explained that they could not do anything at all, except have me fill out the form, yet again! and wait. I also have the option of requesting a refund, which is what I am going to do after seeing the product doesn't deliver the promises it swears by anyway. Thanks for the heads up!

I received the Slim n Lift in December and was so excited to put it on. Well, after struggling and sweating (I believe THAT is where the weight loss occurs), to get it on, I was so uncomfortable in it that I PEELED it off and said, "Well, enought of THAT!" I boxed everything up and paid MY shipping to send it back to the company. I am TOTALLY ticked off about the fact that they charge an enormous shipping and handling fee to send it back. I tried to talk to Theresa, the Supervisor, and she was rather smart mouthed about how it was explained on the "infomercial" about how the shipping and handling would not be refunded. Of course, I was "talked into" products that I didn't even want and they charged a shipping and handling fee of over $9.00 for each item that I was returning which came to over $20.00!!!! If you order this product, be assured that you will regret it and you will be out $$$ because of the ridiculous shipping and handling fee (plus the $ it cost you to send it back!!) What a lame company! Don't do business with them!!

I purchased the so called "Slim N Lift" with high hopes of it giving me a smoother fit in my clothes, but I couldn't get the bloody thing passed my hips. Like a fool I bought it true to size and almost cut off my circulation. I had to scream for my 11 year-old daughter to help me out of the thing. She was laughing so hard that she didn't have the strength to pull it off me. Save your money and pride!!!

I purchased the product from a commercial, my daughter insisted I not waist my time or money, but it appeared so convincing. I ordered and paid with a credit card by phone BUT never received the product to this day. This is a scam that should be stopped at once!!!

I have to say how RELIEVED I am to hear so many other similar stories! I bought my pair well over a year ago and could also never get the damn thing on (I'm all for it being tight and sucking it all in; however, one should be able to get INTO it first). And lately I was actually considering buying ANOTHER pair because they have since added the little straps that supposedly hold them up, but after reading the posted testimonials I'm going to save my money and maybe go and get a professional "bra fitting" @ [] ... I'm thinking my money will go A LOT further. Thank you all for sharing.

Horrible. I bought 2 pairs [] and although I saved a ton of money by doing so, I was ripped off. This company promises that the upper part does not fold down, which it does and kept on falling down. It took me 5 minutes to get the thing on and when I did, I thought I better not eat or drink anything when I go out on the town, because it will be impossible to get this thing on in a public restroom. I had to lay on my floor and hike up these things for 5 minutes just to get them on. Don't buy. I discovered most info commercials are scams, that's why they are not in legit stores. They are ripping people off and getting away with it. Their sizing chart is so wrong too. I wear a 12 and bought a 14/16 and still couldn't get the things on.

I bought this product actually about a year ago and it was impossible to even get on. I thought maybe i had just bought the wrong size. I recently lost about 30 pounds and found it in the drawer the other day. I tried it on and it is still impossible to get on and if you do I would never want to walk around in that thing all day long. Comfortable my @ss!!!!

I too watched the infomercials with great interest, so much so that I purchased the buy one get one free deal (one nude, one black, free tube deal) only to discover that it is impossible to get the thing on! I am not a large woman, and I was completely insulted by this product. What a scam. The price I paid plus S&H was over $82. When I called to get an RMA number, I got a recording that said my call was "important" and to "hold.". Well, I held until I could no long do so, well over 20 minutes. What a rip-off! I am so upset, as I purchased this in good faith, having beleived what the people on the TV infomercial were stating. Now I am out $82 and am stuck with a very embarrassing girdle. One of the legs even got a run in it when I was trying to put it on! And talk about sweating...you don't even know how bad this is going to be until you try to put one of these stupid things on. DO NOT BUY SLIM N LIFT.

I was very excited to see how this works and hoped for the best. i tried it and it just didnt work and was awfully uncomfortable. i tried to contact the company to get a return authorization..and the number was disconnected. i am now stuck with the garments and out $70.00.i am going to deny the charges on my credit card, how do these companies do this.

I purchased this product a couple weeks ago and, trust me on this ladies, it's a G-I-R-D-L-E! You absolutely will NOT look 20-30 lbs slimmer or go down 2 or 3 dress sizes. At best, you will look smoother in the size you already wear. I ordered a size large (size 12-14) and the shapers are very hard to get on, even if you do stretch it out beforehand as the instructions indicate. They are quite uncomfortable after 8 hours wear and it's really weird having to use the restroom through that odd little flap in the crotch area. If you have a pooch stomach (and many women do, whether or not they've given birth), do not expect for it to be flattened. The best it will do is hold you in somewhat. If you have quite a bit of junk in the trunk (like moi, LOL!), don't expect much of a miracle back there, either. The tube shaper that they send you is supposed to cover your boobs and slim your middle. I don't have big boobs (I'm a 34b) and it wouldn't even stay up on me. I had to tuck it in to my undies to keep it from rolling up and creating another love handle. I wear a size 12 and the best it did was smooth out my shape in wide leg pants and non-fitted dresses. I won't bother sending it back because I'm going to lose the S&H charges and I'm not going to lose even more by paying to send it back. What I've surmised about this product is: 1. Don't purchase it if you're larger than a size 6. 2. Lose weight and shape up the natural way - eat healthier and exercise for at leat 30 minutes every day. 3. Don't trust infomercials that won't show the actual product on a plus size model (all the models displaying the Slim N Lift Supreme were a size 4). I hope I've helped someone who may be contemplating purchasing this product. Trust me, it ain't worth it.

I too bought the slim n lift. I was dumb and agreed to the add on back end sales. I tried the product and it took FOREVER to get it on. I was sweating so back I couldn't put my dress on without taking this product off and taking a shower again!. Once I got it on, it showed in the v neck of the dress I was wearing -- useless then. Tried the tube and the one piece with the same results. Tried several times to use it, thinking it would, as it claims, stretch out and be easier to get on/off. Never happened. Still was just as difficult to get on. It also did not change my shape like it claimed. I had a big fold of fabric at my waist and couldn't get it up all the way in back. It kept rolling down. I finally took it off and went without. When I tried to return it(delivered to me 5/30, called to return 6/21) was told I was past my 30 days as I ordered it 5/17. I had to argue to get the RA # to return it. Have been told must be received by them by 7/7/07 or I would not get credit. Funny, they are giving me 2 weeks to get it to them and their "expedited fedex smartpost" took that long to get to me and cost $36.81. What a loss! and what a loser product!!!.

I agree with many others...waste of time and money. I wear a size 4 pant so my weight is around my middle. They sent me a small and by the time I got it on, I think I developed Clastrophobia! HA! It's suffocating. Besides that, it just redistributed all my weight to below my bra strap and then I had a muffin top where I don't usually have a muffin top! I tried to call the number on the guarantee slip to get an "RA" number for the return and the number is no longer in service. Not a good sign!

I bought the original Slim and Lift and was very disappointed in how it rolled down my stomach when I would wear it. Everything else about it I loved. Even commented to my husband that it needed straps. Next thing you know they came out with the Supreme version that has the removable straps and it's GREAT! Totally love it, does a great job for me and stays PUT like it should! And I can wear my own bra with it too, I'm not stuck with a bra that doesn't work well like those other full foundations.
