I purchased this and only have used 3 times and this will not hold a charge its very disappointing to try to cut something then it dies almost immediately.

I was worried after reading the complaints on here but then I realized that a handful of complaints over a 2+ year period the product can't be that bad at all (otherwise there would be many more complaints). There will always be some people who find things to pick with. Anyway, I ordered mine no problems with the credit card. It works great! I slices through my garlic bread every night. I use it to slice all kinds of meats and veggies and it doesn't crush them :) I love my sonic blade!!!

This Product is Horrible. The charge does not hold, the product itself is junk. My husband used this only about three times and then it would not hold charge. I wish we never received one, it was a waste of money. Get an electric knife, I miss mine after I gave it away.

I purchased my Sonic Blade in 2006 in 3 easy installments, charged to my credit card monthly. They did not charge my last payment and I was notified by the 1st Nationwide Collection Agency for non payment. I promptly made the payment. What made me irate was that it ruined my pristine credit rating. On June 9.2008, 2 years after I made the payment to 1st Nationwide I got another Notice from Sonic Blade for non payment. Luckily I tracked down my records and gave them all the information, which they said they will check on it. I asked them for confirmation in writing that I owe nothing and they gave me all kinds of excuses not to give me one but after all my insistance they hesitantly said they would send me one, I believe they just told me that just to get rid of me. Anyway my case is still pending and fortunately I found my records I feel for those that don't. Sonic Blade whatever their intention is one company I would never deal with again.

I ordered the Sonic Blade via an infomercial on 4/16/06 for $99.99 and chose the 3 Visa payment option. My Visa account was charged and paid as follows: 4/16/06 - $27.19 shipping & handling; 5/16/06 - $33.33; 6/15/06 - $33.33. No further charges to my Visa were made & no invoice was received from Sonic Innovations until I received a collection notice from 1st NationWide Collection Agency, Inc. that a payment of $33.34 was past due. I sent 1st NationWide a letter and check for $33.34 on 8/28/2006 which, according to my bank records, they cashed on 9/6/06. I subsequently learned that there was a reporting of this claim on my otherwise excellent credit report. Nothing further was heard from Sonic Innovations or their collection agency until 6/9/08, when I received a letter from a company called Express Response stating that there was an outstanding balance of $33.33 due for the Sonic Blade and that "Prior requests sent to you for new credit billing information or payment have remained unanswered or unresolved." The letter threatened "collection activity" if I didn't respond immediately. On calling the customer service number provided, I learned that Express Response is a 3rd party billing agency contracted by Modern Media to collect overdue accounts. The Account Manager who wrote the letter "does not accept calls," and a phone number for Modern Media could not be provided even though the Express Response agent stated that Modern Media's billing office was next door to theirs. I have yet to hear back from someone that this issue has been resolved, but I fortunately saved the necessary documentation to support my payment. How many others have not kept those records & have been faced with receiving erroneous collection notices from this company, 2 years after placing an order with them?

I bought Sonic Blade early in 2006. They charged my credit card three instalments totalling $107.15 in March, April and May 2006. I thought that was it. Then in July 2006 I got a demand from First Nationwide collection agency claiming another $39.98. I gave them my credit card number and authorized a charge. Then in December 2006 we received a series of harrassing phone calls from Nationwide. When we answered the calls there was no one there. We were left talking to their computer. I emailed customerservice at SonicBlade.com in December 2006 and again January 2007, asking for a statement explaining any balance. They never replied. Now in March 2008 I have received another collection threat. This time from Expense Response agency.

I purchased sonicblade sometime on May 2006. It do chop food well as long as its battery is newly charge. Overall, I regret purchasing this product because it doesn't perform well as shown and promise in tv commercial. But what I regret most in purchasing this product was how they handled my payment. I gave them my visa card for the three payments. The first two payments was taken from my visa card. While my visa card was still active for the third payment, they did not charge my card. In less than a month and without notifying me through email, they considered my accounts delinquent and turned over to a collection agency. I received a demand letter from the collection agency for the unpaid amount. I called sonic blade and settled the remaining amount using the same visa card. While I thought that everything was okey, I was wrong. Lately, I checked my credit report and saw my sonic blade account as reported under collection. Although it is noted as paid; nevertheless, it tainted my credit history. For potential buyer, think twice before you purchase this product.

I bought Sonic Blade electrical knife in Turkey. 1- I do not know where it is produced. No info. 2- They refer US patent number adding with "worldwide patents depending" 3- Charge lamp is not working. 4- Ubstable structure. 5- No spare parts and service organizations in Turkey.

This is worst product I've purchased. I did not have delivery problems but the product does not begin to do what is advertised. It is bulky and awkward to hold but, most importantly, about the only thing this blade will cut is fresh bread and after a few months it does not even do that. The handle simply does not recharge no matter how long you leave it in the charger. Cutting frozen meat, as they claim in the infomercial is a fantasy right from the start.,

10/12/2007 - Arthur writes:
The battery is so weak that you've to recharge it every 3 - 5 minutes. The power switch has the most stupid design you can ever imagine making it very tiring to use the knife.

I ordered the Sonic Blade, then within 24 hours, saw one for sale at the Walgreens. It looked plastic, huge counter consuming base, over priced, and even with the buy one get one free I had ordered,(I had questioned the price and the huge shipping ticket when I called to order). After seeing the product, I immediately called to cancel the order. I was told I had reached the department in time. Months, and months later, I did not receive the product, have been charged the initial payment, and a subquent payment, no refunds, no product, and today, yet another collection company call for the balance. When I explained that they owed me a refund, I was told this would ruin my credit, they could not contact the company, and they were adding interest to the charge, that the only recourse I had was to pay the bill. When I repeated the incidence information, she again said they could collect, they were not allowed to give feedback to the company, and I could pay or lose credit points. What is this company's problem. I did not receive it, do not want it, want my money back, and want to be left alone! No collection calls, no problems, no plastic knife, just do the right thing, refund my money, and leave me a lone. Never would I buy from this company or anything associated with them.

Don't buy it! First it doesn't work on things like pineapples. And God forbid you try and return it beyond the 30 days - no dice!

$130 for an electric knife? They also tag on $40 for shipping! $10 would cover it easily. I'm sure this is a good product, but I feel that the price is out of line for the product. Also, when you order, you really don't get two sets. You get two knives, but not the gadgets that go with it. You just get one set of those.

Earlier I had reported that we had a problem getting this product. We finally received it. It is a great product. The knife is superb. I have enjoyed using the knife, but it isn't worth the hassle you have to go through to get it.

These people are thieves. I ordered on 10-11-06, and received a confirmation email. On 10-18-06, I received another email, but the total price was different, so I called customer service, and was informed that this was an additional order. I informed them that I did not place an additional order, and was told that the orders were not sent yet, so they would cancel the latter order. In December I finally received my order. In February an additional charge was made on my credit card, and when I inquired why, they said it was for the additional order. I have been fighting for a credit ever since, and have now had to closed that credit card account.

I ordered this product in October 2006. I received (2) of them as ordered on 1/4/07. I took one look at the knife and holder which were on top of the box, filled out the return label and sent the box back the same day. I called and called and they said I should have called for a return # before returning it. I had sent it with tracking, and I knew they got it back. Then all of a sudden, no one answered the customer service phone and e-mails were not answered. I was not going to let them keep my $170! I persisted and finally on 2/2/07 they credited my account. I have since closed that account so they can't have access to it any more. I did not keep their free gift of plastic containers, either. Oh, they kept $40 for something (?), but I feel great that I got $130 back. Sometimes lessons are hard (l)earned!! No more buying off TV ! ! !

I ordered the Sonic Blade (2 for 1 complete) on Dec 8,2006 and was told I might have it by Christmas. (the second knife was for a gift) I didn't receive the shipment until 12-29-06 and was missing the "food holder," the "manual," and the "garlic peeler." I called on 12-29-06 and was on hold for 35 minutes, (talked to Matthew) and was told I would receive the missing items in about 4 or 5 days. I didn't receive anything!!! I called again on 1-8-07 and was on hold for 45 minutes and refused to talk to the rep (Matthew again) who answered and was transferred to a supervisor(Sonja) who told me the items would be shipped in 5 to 7 days and she credited me $7.95. Again, I didn't get the items. I called again on 1-16-07 and asked for a particular telephone ext (2040) for "Sonja" and was told that she was out to lunch and would return my call as soon as she returned. NO ONE CALLED !!! I called again on 1-17-07 and was on hold for 10 minutes before being answered and then put on hold again for another 10 minutes waiting for supervisor "Sonja." A different supervisor answered and explained that the missing items were on backorder and would be sent to me within 2 1/2 weeks (HONESTLY) and issued me a credit and is sending me some additional plastic containers that I asked for, for my inconvenience. This particular supervisor seemed very apologetic and very sincere, so I'll see what happens from here. I wouldn't reccommend doing business with this company. I asked the supervisor how she would feel if she bought a new car and it came without a steering wheel, how would she feel? She agreed with me.

We purchased a sonic blade from the tv commercial .It arrived about 6 weeks after we ordered it . My wife did not like the product as her hand kept hitting the safety switch ( which was in a bad position on the knife )shutting the knife down . We returned the knife complete with the free plastic containers we could have kept and paid the return shipping charges .When I got my refund they had deducted 68.70 off it saying this was for shipping & handling .It also cost me 37.40 to send it back from Canada . All toll it cost me 106.10 for something we don,t have . Let the buyer beware
