I order a sweep and mop (one free) and good thing, one broke immediately. The heads are a joke and wear out really fast. Now there is no where to go to get the "promised" lifetime replacement heads. Never again!!

Same story..just a different sucker!! I have 2 house dogs and thought this mop would help sweep up the hair. Just like everyone else...I got 4 mops when I ordered only 2. Got my credit card statement and I about s---!! Almost $100 for the mops...and then I realized I had signed up for the FREE mop heads. I quickly got on the phone, and I can't even remember how I got a person, but told them NO more products. I shipped them back as quickly as I could and try to ignore ALL the infomercial scams on TV now. Sorry to hear about everyone's problems but at least I know I am not the only one who was ripped off. I got the mop out today forgetting why I quit using it and was thrown into reality again. These people should be ashamed of lying.

Just like the others, I too was "sucked in" by the infomercial. And again, just like so many others, the thing came apart after one use. I did have the extra heads and my husband managed to install one for me but I still don't like this mop. It is not what the infomercial said it was. I'm getting a new "old fashioned" mop. At least I know it will do what I want it to!

Just like the the comment before this, I bought 2 and got 2 free for $19 but got charged about $85. Still can't get the free replacement heads. I think the mop works resonably well. The problem I see with them is the service and charges. Too bad the gov't doesn't protect us from this. If you want to buy try using a gift credit card that is not tied into your bank or credit card account. Don't think you can talk them into to anything either.

I purchased this item when they advertised it 2 for 1 for $19.95 (I upgraded to a supposedly stronger mop handle). I ordered this over the internet at their official site. When I checked out, I was never given a total due. When I received my credit card statement, I had been charged almost $80! I called customer service at Sweep N Mop and a very rude rep told me I had asked for expediated shipment, which I did not. I told her that was wrong anyway because it took 2 months to get the items. She said that was expedited shipment! When I complained about the cost, she hung up on me! To pay slightly less than $80 for a glorified mop is ridiculous. It does not do what they say it will do. And now, the alleged tougher handle is splitting. This mop is a scam!

I to brought one of these at a trade show. The guy who demonstrated the mop did it with such ease (his obviously was altered). I too was allowed to try it and was sold, got the mop and two extra heads. The thing has worked since I brought it home. Don't waste your money even it is $10.00.

We bought ours at a demonstration. The guy showed us how to use it, even let me try it...we were so impressed we bought one. After he instruceted us how we have to "soak it" and what not, we did everything he said and it still to this day does not do what it should. Don't waste your $10....

I bought this silly product a few months ago. Didn't want to mess around with sending it back but get sooooooo upset when I see it. I have used it because I paid for it, which was entirely too much money, more than advertised. I saw it today and got mad again! Very useless and not worth any money.

I have been completely taken in by Sweep n mop. Supposed to be charged $10.00 and am being charged $48.20. The product is absolutely useless and has been trashed. Please do not be taken in by this company. I am now afraid to order anything by internet!

Crap, crap, crap. I got totally sucked in on this one. I tried the product and the second time the head detached partially. tried to remove the 4 screws - good luck! Got out three the fourth wouldn't budge and now the head is stripped so the screwdriver won't grip. This is misrepresentation at its worst. the company should be made to refund completely every cent paid for the garbage they have conned people into buying. Did get a toll free number for Canada - 1 866 683 7148, but they only 'work' monday to friday 9 -9pm great help I don't think.

Biggest scam of all. I spent a lot of time trying to make it work. Somehow my computer sent me two fo these awful mops and REPLACEMENT HEADS FOR LIFE (JOKE) They do not mop or sweep and cleanup is awful. People selling these products and TV stations that carry them should be banned forever. Really a ripoff artist!!!

Fell apart the very first time we tried it. Absolute piece of junk.
Of course, you will only get hour $10 back...not the shipping. That is IF you can find a phone number to call!

Absolute scam of the year. This mop is junk. Of course it's made in china. Works ok the first time you use it. After that it starts loosening from the brittle frame. Free mop heads for life?? Yeah right after processing and shipping it's surely not free!
11/26/2006 - Diane writes:
Awful..the whole thing - the price, the mop..the whole nine yards. The mop is truly the worst mop I have ever purchased, and believe me..I have purchased alot of mops!

I also was scammed, ordered in July, and by the time I clicked submit it was a done deal. Called to cancel my order, the guy said that the order had not come across yet, that it would take a few days to process it, that I needed to call and cancel then. Well those few days passed, and called, well my order had been shipped (What a lie), so emailed them at customer service, got an email back saying they only are the builder of the website, and sorry for my problems. Well received only the mops in my order, I had paid for express delivery, well turtles could have delivered it faster. I called them, told them to cancel the rest of my order, also said I did not get express shipping, so they credit my account, called my credit card company...filed a dispute charge, during that time the boxes arrived...well I told them to cancel my order. so the boxes sat in my car. I had to open the boxes to see what they were in the first place as I had no clue what it was, (remember I cancelled my order), well I have 2 boxes of refill mops. The mops are not worth crap...if you replace one, the screws will not come out, it really takes a strong person to change them out. The mops are not sturdy.
This company is a rip off...they do not have contact numbers so that you can cancel an order... they should be shut down. I had to file another complaint with my credit card company...since they sent them a bill saying I ordered the items, which totaled $29.00, and no way shipping is over $100.00 for these items. There should be laws against this crap

Mop does pick up hair as described and does rinse as described, however, the mop head does not glide smoothly and is very wobbly. The handle length is made for people who are about five feet tall and is not adjustable as described in their directions. The handle also loosens as you use the mop. Suppossedly if you buy 1 mop (9.99) you get a second 1 free as well as extra mop heads. Here is what I paid.... Subtotal: $10.00 Shipping: $39.60 Tax: $0.60 Total: $50.20

This kind of thing sux. Looks like a good deal at first. A rip off is a rip off....plain and simple. This product and it's marketing/sales are nothing more than a scam. It's been way over a month since ordering online. No mention or even option of reviewing a total charges is available and no way of backing out of the deal is provided. i didn't even get an e-mail until it was too late to do anything about it. Paying 116 dolars for a 10 dollar mop is a bit extreem, especially when mop heads are where the bulk of the charges lie and they're supposed to be "free for life"? i have informed all government agencies concerning consumer protection and have made it my "mission" to see that the fewest people possible don't fall for the same scam I have.

Hi, I saw the commercial on TV & as the busy working mom of a little boy I thought why not?Anything that would help me make things easier. And once I began at the site I wanted to cancel my order immediately but then it refused to cancel & the total bill was $39!!I called their customer service the next day & the lady said she has cancelled the order-but in a week the mops arrived! So I called again & was asked to return the mop for a refund-which I did-i do hv a tracking number also. But no refund for over a month! Now if I call the customer service number-its a friendship hotline! My god! What a scam!I have never done anything like this before!

My Mom ordered this item by phone & never spoke to a live person. It was all done by an automated system. When she got her credit card bill from them, it was $298.00!! They apparently were sending her items that she never ordered. She was only trying to order the $10 deal advertised on TV. She refused any & all packages from them & her credit card company got her account credited. She was lucky. Please do not order from this company. I'm amazed that they are still in business!!

Please do not buy or attempt to buy these mops. Once you click on the buy button, then you find out shipping is the rip off. You cannot cancel this product, don't fall for it. Everybody sends them back when they find out the shipping charge and you will not be refunded the shipping charge. I think they probably only have one mop and six replacement heads that people who have been ripped off keep returning. They make there money on the shipping and handling. They are crooks. Please don't waste your money like we did.
