I bought this sweeper from [] company that had previously sold me good products. This sweeper, however, is nothing like what I expected. Instead of sweeping up dirt on the floor it spreads it around the room. I used it one time and then tossed it aside.

This Swivel Sweeper functioned well for the first 2-3 weeks. I followed the charging directions supplied, it stopped charging properly and now it only keeps a charge for about 5-10 minutes and the power has greatly dimished. Replacement battery w/s&h I can by a new sweeper. I do not recommend this product and will let others know about the guality of this product.

Do not buy the swivel sweeper. Like everyone is saying here, it only lasted a couple of months then it will not hold a charge. I bought two of them thinking the first time I was not charging it the right way, but now the second one is doing the same thing. I called the company to try and get a new battery sent, but it almost would have cost me just as much as buying a new one. I am going out to buy a shark.

I would love to contact the distributor because the battery just will not charge. I've tried everything and nothing helps. I lasts for minute at best but that's not even when it's on the floor. Once it hits the floor it just stops. How can I get a new battery if there is such a thing.

I purchased my Swivel Sweeper at []. I followed the charging directions & it worked great for about a month. Then it stopped charging properly & now it only keeps a charge for about 5 min. max. I like the concept...too bad it doesn't live up to expectation. The Shark is a much better product for just a little more money.

The sweeper worked great at first, but the battery simply is not keeping a charge. We make sure to replace the battery in the charger between each use, but now it won't even sweeper my tiny kitchen floor before needing a new charge. The battery is almost the price of a new sweeper when you include shipping. Its not worth the price. Too bad, I really liked it in the beginning.

My mother was so happy with this product when she first bought it, several of us went and bought our own. I was instantly unhappy with mine. They claim it picks up pet fur--hah! It tangles so badly the swiveling wheels they are so proud of, have really never worked since the first try with it. They give you a sewing seam ripper tool to cut away the fur, so they know it is a problem. It takes a lot of time to attempt to untangle fur or hair and never enough to really make the product usable--plus where is that tool when you need it? The battery is a joke. It must be recharged before each use, so you can't vacuum without thinking ahead. It doesn't have enough power to pick anything up. I have since found that all of us have given up trying to make this piece of junk work. It is not at all a satifying purchase. I consider it a rip-off.

I bought the Swivel Sweeper in Dec. 2006, and was very happy with it as it did as promised on TV. Now I am finding out that the battery does not last for very long. I don't recommend this product unless you want to buy a new battery twice a year @ about $20 each plus S&H.

I tried to cancel my order when the order menu continued to try to get me to order more items. I thought it had been cancelled and I did not receive any confirmation of my order or anything that said the order was final. Unforunately, they charged my credit card anyway including for some items that it did not want. Then about a week later my order was delivered. It was easy to assemble but I tried to charge the battery. The instructions state that the intial battery charge should be for at least 8 hours. I charged it for about 12 hours. When I tried to use it, the battery did not work. I called Swivel Sweeper customer service and they told me that I needed to charge it longer(at least 23 hours but not more than 24 hours). I then tried to charge it for an additional 11 1/2 hours and the battery still did not work. Before I call customer service again, since I had a second battery, I charged the other battery for 23 hours and 59 minutes. It also did not charge. I call customer service again and they then told be the intial charge should be exactly 8 hours( they said the person who told me to charge it 23+ hours no longer worked there and she had told me the incorrect information!). They sent me one replacement battery which I charged exactly for 8 hours. That one also did not work. This product is a ripoff!! I got the impression that customer service tries to tell you anything to justify that their product is not worthless. I told them I wanted to send the product back. They said I would have to pay the shipping costs to send it back and they would only refund the product cost($19.99) and no S&H(which was twice the cost of the product!)

Battery does not last. After a few months my battery won't hold a charge. Called customer service and was told that batteries do not last more than a year, will need to to replaced at my costs. Don't buy unless you are prepared to replace battery every few months.

I bought the swivel sweeper and really loved it. It was great for getting crumbs and pet hair off ny hardwood floors without pulling out the vacuum. BUT after using for a few months and recharging the battery several times, the BATTERY WILL NO LONGER HOLD A CHARGE. I called customer service and they said that the battery life was maybe a year and that I could order a new one for roughly 20.00 with the S&H. WHAT A RIP OFF. Who wants to spend $20 every few months when it wasn't really used that much in that time. DON'T BUY THE SWIVEL SWEEPER. The battery life is not worth it.

these people should be wealthy. I tried to order a sweeper one late night. I never received it and low and behold my credit card bill was billed for it at the tune of $54.75. The credit company would not do anything about this (?). Rip off artists.

This is a great product! My parents, friends, and neighbors have all bought one. I use it on hard floors only (not great for carpet) Used daily charged once a week. a great $20 item!

This product is a rip off and the company that sells it is a bunch of theives. My battery would not recharge so I ordered a one. It was never shipped to me and I eventually cancelled the order. The company said they would mail me a refund but to date, 60 days later, have never received my check back. Don't buy this product and if you already have one, it will be worthless when your battery goes bad. You cannot buy a replacement battery.

9/11/2007 - Jim writes:
Well it works just fine, no problem with the dirt kicking out, no Battery problem. You just have to use it correctly like, Clean out the receiver each time you use it, or watch the receiver through the plexiglass to check it before using if it's full. We Charge the battery after every time we clean it out, No problems with Mechanics if you no what to do, sort of logical for ($ 20.00) what else do you want if you don't read the guide and take care of it. The only Problem is the handle, it does Not stand up right when not in use, so when it drops, or you lay it down BANG when you step on it. Jim

Just a heads up if you try to order the Grill Daddy you will get the same website with the same results, take your credit card first and put a bunch of charges on it. I was suppose to pay $2.95 shipping and handling and it ended up $29.95 just like the sweeper. Big Scam I will be filing a complaint!

It is not worth the money. I should know better than to listen to these fast talkin' TV sellers. They make it sound so wonderful! It does not pick up well and keeps one busy emptying the little container. I will never buy from TV again unless I check it out first.
