I spent over $1,000.00 with this company and never saw a penny. I decided to cancel after 2 months and I tried for about a year to get my money back, like they said I could, but they kept giving me excuses until finally their numbers were all disconnected so I lost all my money.

I originally listened to the infomercial and made the decision to try and support my six-year-old and myself as I am disabled. On the phone the evening of Feb. 24, 2007, I purchased the web site, some product and the "successful" marketing items offered. My total was 361.20 and came of my checking account on the same day. I called the nexted day and cancelled by phone and marked everything return to sender, as I was instructed to do. I was told once everything was returned I would get my refund. I called within 1 day and as of today, Jan. 28, 2008, I still have not received my refund. I have more than 40 phone logs, in which I was told more execuses than I could have imagined. The following phone representatives said "your checks in the mail," Nick H.; Gordon Ven Kahl; Pam at ext. 145 (Merchant Relations, and many more. The most exciting moment was my confirmation letter in the mail that my reund was processing my refund. There's no date on the letter and of course..no refund! Please note: If you use a debit card or your checking account you can dispute it and get your money back but it must be within 60 days of purchase. I did not realise that fact, however, the Greatest in the World held me off knowing that fact. How can any one person in today's society steel from so many and still continue? Might be a good election topic! If anyone is interested in a class-action law suit let me know. Someone has to stop this company. Email: []

I was scammed on this one. I got the ad infomercial in the mail in August of 06, called and signed up, at first for $35 to get started --- then they nudge you for more for added features and so on until I had invested over $960. I thought about it for 3 weeks and decided to withdraw for my guaranteed money back, and have been trying to get it back for the past 9 mos now it's been 14 or 15 mos. without success. Websites were shut down, phone lines were discontinued way back in June or July of 07, and I have not heard a thing..

I thought about it overnight and decided to withdraw for my guaranteed money back, and have been trying to get it back for the past 9 mos. without success. Websites were shut down, phone lines were discontinued way back in May, and I have not heard a thing except from the US Postmaster who was investigating for fraud. I doubt i'll ever see my more than $500 again.

I purchased the kit in October 2006 I was scammed also. I called to get information for income tax and the number was unreachable and my site was also gone. I put a lot into advertising and I only sold 10 bottles of what ever it was. But I wont to claim that stuff on my taxes. Any suggestion.

Yes i did use the product for years. I got my family on them too. My husband died in 2004. He didn't leave me much to live on, so i wanted a home business to do, i babysat all the yearas we were married, and that's not much to live on. They told me the more you put in the more you would see coming in. Before it was you'll have it back before yo miss it. Credit cards are maxed because of this. I need my money back to them. It's not fair to take advantage of people, especially widow's. Don how can you sleep at night?

I got involved with Greatest Vitamins in December of 2006. I got it all with all the "help" they offer. What a joke! When I called them in July to tell them I wasn't even close to the "guaranteed hits" promised or a full refund. They said by December I would have them. I noticed all the hits came from the same IP address. That seemed a bit strange to me. What a ripoff! I wish something could be done about people like Don Lapre. He shouldn't be allowed to be in a business..... In October 2007, I was still being promised a refund. What a lie!!!!!

My husband and I have 6 kids, and I was laid off, so I thought this would be a good deal. To date, I have gotten NO checks, NO refunds, and THEN when I went to my website, it's no longer there! Only AFTER I sent an email was I informed that the company had been bought out, and that they would send me my checks or refund. I asked for a refund. That was in July. It's Jan 2008 and nothing has been refunded to me. My family was very supportive of me in this endeavor, so I could stay at home with my children. It really upsets me to know that all this was, was a ploy to get millions of people to give them $30 each and then Don Lapre stops the commercials, drop the websites, and is probably vacationing in Puerta Vallarta. On money that stole groceries from my children's table.

i ordered the package and never sold a dang thing! now all i have is a room full of calcium vitamins. that's all this crap is. the rep i contacted for my refund said i "didn't try hard enough" and that i was "a loser for giving up so easily". i asked to speak to a supervisor, who was also really snarky. i've filed a complaint with my local police department. how many more don lapre scams do we have to endure before somebody tries to file a class action lawsuit againts this guy??

I used to sell this product last year and around may asked for a refund. They said I had to mail some form for my refund so i did. Then they said the refund would take 30 to 60 days. After 30 days I called the 800 # and they said i should recieve the refund in aug. Then aug. came around and i still didn't get a refund. they said since the merger with the other company was taking place that my refund should take a couple more weeks. I have a rep on my voicemail saying that still too..i still have it saved. But now this company is nowhere to be found and i'm pissed off. i want my money!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased Greatest Vitamin in the world advertiser package about a year ago, and after realizing that the whole thing was a scam I called them to request a refund. Last time I got in contact with them was in the end of august this year, they told me that one of their refund managers will contact me. Never heard back from them, and sometime in september went to check my stats on my website. To my utter outrage, my personal website for which I paid for and had some customers coming back to and buying, was no longer working, and I somehow found a link that said the company was bought by another vitamin company. I immediately emailed them that I demand a refund, and of course, did not receive any kind of reply. Here is that link: [] I am very curious, has anybody who has dealt with GVW and bought products from them knows how to get a refund, since this company does not exist any longer, and it seems that Don Lapre has vanished yet again. I am extremely mad about all this, and thinking about who I can contact here locally in New York, I am sure that there are a lot people that are in the same boat as me at this moment, it's just I don't know how to reach them. So, if anyone has any suggestions or news about this total scam, please let me know by posting a comment on this website.

I had a feeling there were many other innocent people out there that have been taken. I have also for $112. In addition, I have now discovered two companys that have been ripping me off every month for $30 since last april 07, totaling $227. This started right after I became a member with The Greatest Vitamin in the World. I believe they are related. The company names are American Leisure and Easy Saver. Look at your statements for these names. I am very interested in bringing this poor excuse for a human to justice!!!

I fell for the scam also. I returned all the materials as required at my expense and, had been promised a refund. I continued to call about it regularly and was consistantly told it would take another 2 billing cycles. After several months I asked "why is it taking so long?" and at that point I was told the order got lost and they would have to start processing it again. I sent to product back on April 7, was told it didn't get loged in for processing until May 4. Vera forwarded my account to accounting (which I was NEVER able to talk to myself) on June 25. On July,6 Lori sent an email to expidite. Talked to Frank on July 17. On July 27 Nick sent another request and told me I would have the refund by Aug 27. I spoke with The Customer Service Supervisor, Pam on Sept 9 and called several additional times both before and afterthose dates. The last sever times I tried to call I've got a recording the "my credit card had not been activated". I called the phone company the first time I got the message and they told me they were haveing trouble on the line. After several other attemps I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission but they told me that there were no other complaints so they don't check things out unless there are multiple complaints. So after trying to call again today I thought I'd do a search (maybe they got a new number) and I found this website.
I would suggest that anyone who has a complaint sould fole it with the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357 so we can get something going on this issue. Please let me join you in any class action suit. Thanks

I got in in Dec '05, bought the whole story. Called cust. svc. a few times, and got very nice helpful people on the line, who I believed would help. Virtually no return on my investment. This seems to me to be a classic scheme, and a class action suit may be the only option. I've heard nothing in over a month, when they promised by email to revamp the program and make it even better.
