It has been almost a year since I ordered the Weight Loss Cure book. When I ordered it I told them I wasn't interested in the newsletter subscription, not even the free copy.
Well every month I have been charged for the stupid thing and at times not even received the newsletter. Like many others I called the number to cancel which at one point had a recording that said they were working on the system and that they would send us a new number, yeah right! The website is a joke. It asks you for your membership info that of course I was never given. I have been calling for months now waiting on hold for hours, thank goodness for speakerphones. Well don't give up because I finally got through and when I told them I had filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs I was given a refund for 2 months. It should have been alot more but at least it was something. They also share your phone numbers with other
companies that hounded me day and night trying to get me to "try" their product. Never again, ITV is a shame and a joke!

i had ordered the book for weightloss. along with this came a free 30 day subscription to the inertnet site and his news letter. the company told me that after the 30 day free trial, I would be charged $9.95 a month to the credit card for access. At this time I refused the free access and told them the only charge that is to appear on my card was the cost of the book. I recieved the book in approx. 2 weeks and along with this there were 800#'s to cancel any charges. something told me to hold on to these and lo and behold 30 days later there were charges to my account for this internet access when, I specifically ordered them not to. I have called these 800"s several times but, the problem is, they never answer the calls for cancellation. I have called and pressed the # for ordering and they answer right away. When I confronted the sales rep, she told me that I would have to call back and access the cancellation #. What a rip off. I have been charged for this service everymonth for several months. I am in the process of contacting the Attorney General's Office to persue a class action suit. This man is ripping off the public and should be banned from any association involving sales

I ordered the Weight Loss Cure for my Sister & got it, but I keep being charged $9.95 every month for some news letter that I said I did NOT WANT...What is it about DO NOT WANT that these people do not understand???? I have tried sevral times to call that phony # they gave us to find out why I am being charged everymonth. They will not answer the phone, keep you on hold for ever.....So I had my Credit card company take care of it, but I don't think it is the end of them. Something needs to be done about this company & soon.

I also ordered this book and returned it. When I called to get a return number to place on the package the rep told me that it would be 30 to 45 days before I would get a refund. That was on 8/20/07. I am furious, and I am will not stop calling them until I get my money back. No one needs to buy this product. Anyone who has been taken by this scam needs to ban together and file a suit against this company.

I ordered the bvook, never received the book or a never seen newsletter. My account was charged 4 times! When I called for the fourth time to complained I was lectured and embarrased and treated like garbage by a customer service rep (and I use that term grinding my teeth) his #3886. I finally had to hang up because I was really going to say something I would be so very sorry for. In the meantime I have to wait 30 - 45 days to have this money put back into my account. If it comes out again, I will be reporting everything to the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau and any other place I can find.

I ordered the Weight Loss Cure about a month ago for 14.95 and also agreed to try 1 month free Newsletter. Jessica instructed me if I wanted to cancel, call 8002403417 before Oct 1. Did not receive the book. Called the 800 number several times and could not get a person. On hold for more than 30 minutes several times. Called 8006988294 again and Missy gave me cancel@naturalcures.com. Several attempts to send it and webmaster tells me it cannot be sent. Today is Sept. 29, 2007, Merrilee

I purchased the book, The Weight Loss Cure on 9/2/07 for a sale price of $14.95 according to the TV commercial. The telemarketer said the total was $39.85. I asked her what was the shipping & handling. She said $9.95. Ithen asked how she came up with $39.85. She then said that she added express shipping. I told her I did not request "express shipping. She then told me the total would be $24.90 for standard shipping. My bank statement shows an entry for WeightCure8007797304 (8:38 am) for $39.85 and ANOTHER entry for WeightCure8007797304 (8:40 am) for $24.90. I have been calling since 9/2/07, 1:00 pm to correct this double charge with no luck. the 800#does not work and the e-mail address only takes me to these complaints. I no longer want the book. Very sorry that I ordered it. Will not stop until this is resoved. This will definitely make it bad for the next infomercial!!! Unreal!!!

I ordered the Weight Loss Cures book because the commercial said you would get the other two books for free- I didn't even want the diet book, but I figured what the heck? 3 books for the price of 1? Heck yeah! At the time, I missed the extra shipping and handling part. Thank goodness I insisted on using a check over the phone, even though the operator threatened that I would be ineligible for the newsletter if I did that. At the end of the phone call, I asked again, "And I get the two free books with that right?", to which the operator agreed. About 5 or so weeks later, I receive my book. A book. (I paid 9.95 shipping for a book in an envelope that takes 6 weeks to ship? Go know..). I called customer service and asked where my other books are and they said that I didn't pay the extra shipping and handling fee. I told them that the operator said nothing about that and in fact told me that I would get my books. They said they would call me back, listened to the recording of my phone call and called me back, and agreed that that's what happened, but yet refused to send me the books even though they were in error.
I also made sure that they wouldn't be charging me for anything else. The book itself is a joke. HGC? 15 colonics in 30 days - at probably $50-70 a pop? Yeah, that's the stuff. I'll stick with [], thanks.

My complain is about Donald Barrett ITV. I ordered one book The Weight Loss Cure They don't want you to know about, and was charged for 3. I have tried unseccessfully to resolve this issue. I have called 1-800-327-2768and was on hold for 2 hours, so I hung up. Then I called 1-800-240-3417 and the same thing. So I decided to call back and this time I pushed #1 for to place a order. Someone answered, and said that he would try to find out what happened, but that the order could not be canceled- but he said the order had not been sent yet, so I said cancel it, he said they could not do that, but that he would have someone to call me back and they never have. They took 110.97 dollars from my card and I just wanted one book. That company is a scam, and I would advise no one to place a order with them! i placed that order with them on 8/28/07 and here it is 09/12/07 and no order, but they been have gotten my money. I will never order anything from a FAKE ITV company again!

Listening to the tv, I caught the show telling about this incredible weight loss book. He said it could be purchased at many book stores, but that he had such a great price. One-half off of the regular price. It seemed like a fair offer. I called and ordered just the book--they try and sell you many other things also. It was a fact that I could get my money back. The book would not even be sent for at least 4 weeks. That was 9/4/07. The next day I went to [] and the book costs less then the order so I called and told them I was within my 3 days to cancel so please do so. well, they informed me this is not possible. I have called my credit card company. I will keep you up to date on what happens with this situation.

I purchased this joke of a book in March. After reading it page to page. Most of the information repeated over and over again, I finally came to the magic cure and wanted to hit myself for being taken. I immediately sent the book back and am still awaiting my refund. I have called every month when my credit card bill comes and they tell me it has been sent to the next level of refund. WHen I asked the customer rep how they could possibly keep customers when they won't credit refunds he laughed and said for every unhappy customer they have millions every day making new purchases. I think that it is time for the consumer to take a stand and refuse to purchase from these scam artists. Class action suit, I'm in.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the postings here. If one does not die from the 'cure' it might actually work. but who in the world can afford what he is suggesting. It is not practical. The premise for this book from a brilliant doctor named Simeons, whose plan works. HCG injections (which are not illegal in the US--but it's tough to get a doctor to do it for you) combined with the 500 calorie diet does really work. But you don't have to waste your money buying this book. Simeons original manuscript is called Pounds and Inches. [] what you will get is lots more telemarketing phone calls and direct sales mail. one infomercial i wish i had avoided. be warned.

Who is this guy kidding?? Only 500 calories a day, and inject yourself with a product that is not even in the U.S.A!! I fully agree with the statements made about eating organic and non-processed food. I bought the book, from the store, just to see what his 'miracle' was. Anyone on 500 calories a day WILL lose weight, but you cannot make it your lifetstyle. ANY BOOK claiming that you do not have to exercise or watch your diet is a scam. Good old fashion exercise and eating right. Now that is the secret!!
So I ordered all 3 books the other day from an infomercial. I was really excited about finally finding a cure for fibromyalgia and weight. I started reading "The Weight Loss Cure", and he does have some valid points about the toxic foods we consume, but then in the middle of the book........in the FAQ section, "how do you get HCG" he tells you that its really hard to in America...................so how am I supposed to get it? I don't have the time nor money to fly to another country, seek out a dr, and spend 1000's to get this thing I have to INJECT in myself! No wonder its only been available to the Rich! How does he expect everyday obese Americans to follow this protocol if its not EVEN AVAILABLE IN AMERICA! Oh and I paid the 29.95 for this book! One thing good was that I did get it fast! But fast shipping can't make up for misleading! He stated in his infomercial that it would be a fairly inexpensive cure!!!!

Judy SpaunI purchased this book as it sounded a miracle.Recieved the book and what a scam. Nobody could do all it required. Had to buy a product you can get overseas administered by a doctor. They would not return my money. What a scam.

My husband attempted to order this book. We were not aware our credit card had been frozen so the card could not be charged. When he was on the phone he was also put through to an "amazing offer" for tickets to a supposed resort being built next to Disney World. They recently called today threatening to send him to a collection agency. To date, our credit card has not been charged and we have not received the product. The telemarketer was very sneaky, telling my husband he would hold while he got his card and they could try again. Thanks to this website I have found their email address and we will immediately be advising them they ARE NOT AUTHORIZED to continue to attempt to process the order and I'm making sure our credit card balance is high so there is not enough available credit.

Do not order this book!! First, Trudeau has a shady customer service system that seems to be a hustle. (read other consumer's experiences)I purchased this book from [], and the information is garbage! Here are some of the suggestions for a weight loss cure: 15 colonics in 30 days! the average price of 1 session is between $80 to $150. Who in the hell can afford this? He suggest Human chorionic gonadotrophin injections (these injections are not legal for weight loss in the U.S., so pack your bags!)The injections must be done by an M.D. in another country)I would estimate the entire program would be about $40,000 to complete! This man is a fraud!

Unfortunately, I didn't do enough homework before placing my order for "The Weight Loss Cure: They Don't Want You to Know" on 3/23/07. I tried canceling my order the same day and could not get through, so I sent an email to their customersupport@itvdirect.com address and received no response. I then called back on 3/27/07 to make sure that the order had been canceled and not charged. I was told that the packing slip is automatically generated upon order and cannot be stopped once in the process. That I will have to refuse the order when receive in 4 to 6 weeks. When I told the customer service representative that I was very unhappy with their service and would never be ordering from them again and to make sure everyone that I knew would know about their sleazy business practices, they broke out laughing.

I ordered the natural Weight Loss Cures book. On the last step of checkout, it let me opt out of subscribing to the newsletter and website. I was very careful to uncheck that box. My book finally came today (3 weeks later) and enclosed was a newsletter and notice saying I would be billed monthly for it. I have to cancel it if I don't want it. The diet? It's a 500 calorie a day diet of lean meat, vegetables, apples, and grapefruit.
