Although there were a few problems with the product in the past, quality has really changed. If you are having trouble getting replacement for your defective unit, you can go to www.tcpfulfillment.com and pay shipping and handling only for replacement unit. Please note, the fulfillment/call center is instructed to take all request.

I actually have not bought the TCP but my step mom and I have thought about it. My hairdresser had said for me not to get it because she had never even heard of it before, and for me to go with the , more expensive, but well-known CHI. My step-mom and I were on the phone on hold for a combined time of over 40 minutes, and we still had NO ANSWER. Thankfully, the website wouldn't take our card, and I am actually glad that I have read about this stuff. I am definitely going with the CHI. : D Thank you all~!!!!!

I have one of these irons and it works fine, but then I ordered another one and it lasted about one month then stopped working!! I tried to call to get it replaced, but without an answer, I finally gave up and never got it resolved so I was very upset and will never recommend this product to anyone. DON'T BUY THIS!!!!

I have owned one for over 4 years. The first one I did have to send back because of the paint coming off. I returned it and was sent a new one and was told they did have a problem and the person I talked to was very helpful. I have traveled with mine many times and am not careful with it by any means. It has fallen on of my bathroom counter and is still working as it did the day I bought it. Just FYI.

I order true ceramic pro and it stopped working after a couple months. the red coting was coming off. They tell you that you have this warranty , but for the past 5 months they keep telling me the same thing (we don't have you in the computer, so I give them my information again and again still haven't heard from them evan after I sent it back. They still tell me they don't have my information. What a joke.

i bought the first one and the red paint start to peal off the iron then they replaced it with anew one then the new one worked for one week, 1st i wasn't getting the same result as they show you, second thing the true ceramic pro stop working it wont even turn on, till now and i am stuck with. don't ever believe what they tell you on t.v. that's my advice to you.

i absolutely love it i have had true ceramic pro fro about 4 years now and ever since i bought it i had amazing results. no other flat iron worked like this, not even the []. nothing has fallen apart, of course it will when you dont take care of your things. if your gonna buy something, somethings are scams but not all are and if people would follow the instructions they would see true ceramic pro isnt a scam

i bought my tcp back in march for my daughter and in a month the handle broke . i called them to report the problem and the rep. said that i would get a new one in the mail and to send back the old one and to this these day i havent recieve the new one i called again and the rep said that im not on file i said excuse me i have my bank statments to prove it.

I bought a Tru Ceramic Pro piece of [] in 2006. Believe it or not, it actually one day wouldn't come on and the damn thing is falling apart. I'm a hairdresser and it worked great on my hair, actually better I thought, than the [] I used for my clients. Until the plates wouldn't get hot anymore and the red paint came off the ceramic plates. The explaination about harmful chemicals is a load of crap too. That is just another excuse they use to try to hold an argument of why their product falls apart. My how all these complaints I've read sound like my story. Let me tell you, we are not going to get our replacement and I really don't think we want there [] replacemant anyways. I have called 8 times, yes 8 times, and have spoke with all 5 reps they have working there. Not one of them knows what their talking about and they actually upset me so bad today I said [] you to Pueblo. I have had it though. How can they keep telling me they do not have my information when I called yesterday the day before and so on. I couldn't take hearing that my information would be passed on to a customer service supervisor specialist. They are a big SCAM and I want everyone to know it. I called My local news station and they are going to do a story on Infomercial Scams and guess who there star is going ot be, Tru Ceramic Pro. I can't wait to see how Truthful they are going to be and how they are going to explain all this. If you are going to run a business and say your product has a Lifetime warranty you need to stand behind it. I hope others read this before purchasing this torture device they call a Tru Cermaic Pro.

OH my G-d! I basically have the same exact thing to report as so many of you!!! I was very happy with the True Ceramic Pro at first --- (I think ca 2004) It didn't just straighten quickly and perfectly but it gave my hair a nice shine - without using any product!!!! BUT for the past approx. year and a half it has not been performing it does the same kind of crappy job straightening my difficult hair as the $10 straightener from ..... no more shine - so I only use it when I'm desperate. I had called a couple of times to complain, but was just kept on hold for so long I gave up most times and once I was told I don't have a warranty any longer - they completely ignored what I was telling them - Also the red colour is comming of!!?? I asked them how that is possible being that it is supposed to be true ceramic and would it not be the same colour through and through!!? I was told it's from the harsh chemicals I DID NOT USE! since that is exactly what I liked about it - I used to get straight and shiny hair without any chems! So today, after having tried it once again I wanted to write to them and complain about them on [] - when by chance I found this site. Shouldn't we be able to acomplish something together!!!!!!!???????? Is there anything we CAN do??!

I ordered the TCP last year. I was Very pleased with the product, but like everyone else on this site. it stopped working after about 5-uses. I wish I had of read all these comments BEFORE I purchased. I was getting ready to pay another $30 for shipping for a replacment, but after reading all these comments I think I am just going to count my lost and move on.

I bought a True Ceramic Pro back in 2004. Now, in '08 my product is falling apart so I checked the tcp website and notice I have a "lifetime warranty" so I place an order at [] on 3/24/08. About a week later I get a letter in the mail dated 3/25/08 saying my product is on backorder and will be shipped out after expected supply to come in mid April. 5/20/08 I still have heard nothing so I called and spoke with Jerzy and she said someone will call me back within 24-48 hours on 6/4 no one had still called me back so on 6/5 I call and spoke with Rafial who also re-took my info and said someone would call me back and on 6/9 I still had not heard from anyone so I call and speak with Missy and tell her I need to speak to a supervisor. Theo gets on the phone and says he is a supervisor. He doesn't speak English very well so it is somewhat hard to understand him but he says he will also re-take my info and forward it on to yet another supervisor. I tell him at this point I feel this is all a scam. He assures me it isn't but starts asking questions about when I mailed in my old product. I explained that I didn't because I wasn't asked to. He was confused, said that's the only way to get a new product and tells me to wait for the phonecall from his supervisor. After I get off the phone with him I was upset because I know I wasn't asked to mail my old product so I go back to [] and see what I can find... there on their website I find a statement saying Terms and Conditions: Return of defective products: For hygine reasons, and to eliminate return shipment costs to costumers, we do not require, nor will it accept deective units that have been handled or in the p ossession of end users. Do not ship defective unito to us or any other distributor or retailer. Please discard all parts. WOW! So, I call back, Missy answers again I explain I need to speak with Theo agian and tell her why. She says he is on another line and guess what... will call me back! So, this is where I stand right now.

DO NOT BUY!!!! I owned 1 for 2-3 months and it stopped coming on sometimes. I could wiggle the cord and it would work for about a few more months. NO REFUND!!! makes me mad because it really worked great when it WORKED!!!! Cannot find another that works as good but it does come on!!!

Well,,,my complaint sounds just like everyone elses,,,bought my teenage daughter two in the past three years,,,didn't know about the warranty on first one ,,don't really think it would have mattered anyway.On the first one the switch burn't,out ordered a second one,,,it just quit working,called customer service,they said send it back with a authorization number that they gave me,,plus a 16.95 dollar check to cover freight,,would only take two to three weeks,,this was on march the tenth.I have called three times ,,they said that they are putting me on priority,calling back again tonight when I get home,havent heard are seen nothing from them,,product is good,,but very bad buisness handling,,,something has to be done ,

I purchased my original TCP 4 years ago. It burned out. I called they also told me to send $16.95 and the old TCP back to get a replacement. It's been almost 8 weeks, I get the same customer service agents everyday reciting the same lines."I'm sorry maam, I will put your complaint as a top priority and someone will call you back" That was 50 phone calls ago. They never can give you a "real date" as to when the replacement will be sent to me. It's backed up due to popular demand I'm told. I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I will continue to try and get my replacement, but I believe someone the BBB should investigate their business practices and shut them down.

I purchased a TCP 4 yrs ago and it still works, however I recently bought another one and it stopped working within two months. I returned it with a check for $16.95 per instructions. That was 6 months ago. Nothing. I called, complained, wrote letters. Do not purchase this product! Look at the dates of the positive comments, they are not from this year. There must be some kind of action we can take against this company.

I bought 2 last year both stopped working I called the 800-901-5288 no. and have been told that the product is back ordered because of the great demand they keep promissing that they will ship me two new ones but never do it has been since march 1 2008 till now may 9 2008 when I call they tell me they are very sorry and will ship in one week that was 9 weeks ago same story every time I call still no product this is to bad I loved this product when it worked

I recv'd my TCP December 2008 as a gift and I was so happy to have found a product I was satisfied with but to find out later about how bad of a product this was and that eventually it would no longer work so after 4 months of use it sure happened to me and I've called asking for a refund and the customer service people keep telling me they aren't able to find my acct. and keep asking for my credit card # to find my acct. faster and there's no way i will do that so all they can do is take my info and will forward message to upper management well I'm still waiting for that call.

i bought the product and it work at first then it stoped working, i send it back to the company so it could get fixed.i got it back and it stoped working, so now im sending it back and hoping i could get another true ceramic pro straightner that works.
