My true ceramic pro has stopped working and this is already the 2nd one they've sent, the first one's plastic around the plates melted. I called 18009610455, they said that If I had it longer than a year I'd had to call another number 18665226053. Because the company went bankrupt, this number is for voice services for us bankrupt services. Complicated!!!!!!!

my best friend bought me an her the true ceramic pro last wednesday april 25th 2007 off of ebay. we didnt get it until saturday and i didnt use it until sunday before church. it worked fine i fell in love with it. An my sister used it next the same day, and she said it worked fine as well. But today on tuesday the 3rd time its ever been used i turned it on and striaghtened the bottom right half of my hair, and when i went to go do the left half of my hair i noticed it was cooler, and thats when i looked at the true ceramic pro and saw that the light wasnt on, but the on switch was, so i turned it off and unplugged it and tried another outlet in another room and still nothing. I tried to call the number they gave me but all i got was a recording directing me to another # and can you believe that # was 1 800-922-talk which was a adult talk line! that gave me a good laugh, espicially when i dialed that # and the 1st thing i heard was "hey Sexy Guy" LOL... so i get on the computer an run across this website and realized i had fell into a scam. i dont want to be given the run around, i just want a new one or my money back! luckly i didnt pay $140 we only spent $25 plus S&H which was $25 also. but still its money i could've spent on my 8 month old baby. someone needs to put a stop to this, people are so greedy they'll sell anything to get money. its sad we cant trust the people in our own country, but i'm sure lots of people knew that already.

We got our first true ceramic pro about a year and a half ago. We got a letter saying it was recalled within a few months. We sent it back and they sent us a new one. Only a few months then again, it stopped working. I called the number and they told me the company went out of business and gave me a number to call to make a complaint but could not get through. So I saw the commercial again on TV a few months later. I called and was told they had nothing to do with the original company and these were a new manufacturer. We got it in Sept/Oct of 2006. In April it just stopped working. I called customer service. I am sure I purchased the warranty since I had problems before. I was told I had no record of a warranty. So I was offered one, accepted it but never given one. Now I have lost 134.99 plus shipping and handling twice in 2 years. Yes, I would like to join a class action suit. I now have to find my credit card bills from September and see what I was billed. And they're still selling them!

I actually purchased my True Ceramic Pro in March this year. I wish I would have done my research. I wanted a real cermaic flat iron that would work with my short hair. I used it 4 times and then it quit working. It was working perfectly and the next day it just didn't turn on. This will be the last time a surf through the TV and stop on an infomercial. I feel that something should be done. Just like the rest of you, we spent a lot of money on a product that for me lasted for 4 days, maybe 80 minutes (it doesn't take long to do my hair).

I bought the TCP back in Nov 06. By mid Dec I had to call them back because I never received it even though they had already deducted payments from my checking account. They reshipped and I finally received it. It's been working fine, until today. When I turned it on it started making crackling noises and then started to smoke. Needless to say it's dead. I called cust service and was told since I didn't purchase the extended warranty there was nothing they could do. So basically 140 bucks pissed away, and like my wasted bucks, I'm pissed too. My advice, don't buy this piece of crap. Lousy product, lousy customer service. I'm just glad I held onto my old Conair flat-iron, at least it still works. I'll be looking into submitting a complaint to BBB. And their Guarantee states it covers 30 days from date of PURCHASE. So if I didn't receive it until 2 months after purchase, how can they stand by that guarantee ?

DITTO. As all the other victims reported, I know it all!!! I did get a hold of a rep @ 877-399-6374/California the week of 4/16/3007. I was informed that since I had not purchased the warranty for an additional cost of $27.00, SOL, nothing they could do. Funny, I don't recall being asked about a warranty. I would have questioned why a product they clamied was this great, and for the price, needed a warranty at additional cost. I have purchased other flat irons under different brands for less money & warranties have been included at no additional cost for a year or two and they are still working. One I have had for over 2 years!!! But, this one sounded sooo good. Yeap, too good to be true!!!! I am a licensed hairdreser and this is the most expensive, yet the cheapest, worthless piece I have ever encountered. I know I am cured of purchasing from infomercials.

If I had known about this website sooner, I would have told everyone not to waste their time or money on this piece of crap. I originally purchased this product in march 2005, and did not receive it until May 2005. I was a little pissed, when I called to inquire, the said it was selling out so fast that it wa on backorder, but they wouldn't let me cancel the order. o after I got it, it worked really well for about 6 months, then the red on the plates started chipping off and it would actually rip my hair out as I ran it through my hair. So I called and they said it was a manufacturers defect and they would replace it free of charge. Well, 3 months later I received a new one. It worked great for about a month and then it just died. So I call again and the number is a recording stating the bankruptcy issues of the company. So I was just basically F*cked out of my money. I would highly recommend a []. YOU CAN BUY THESE FROM [] AND OTHER LEGIT WEBSITES!!! They cost a little more than this piece of crap item, but they have 2 year warranties and work WAY BETTER!!!

I bought this product sometime last year around the fall and yes indeed just like the infomercial said it straightens the hair in no time. But suprise suprise! I go to use it yesterday and hmm it wouldn't turn on!. I tried calling the customer service # but they are closed on weekends. I want my money back or a replacement at no cost I don't care what the warranty says. I think it is very unproffesional and unethical to sell items to consumers that will stop working in months maybe even weeks from what I've read here. If anyone knows what I could do please respond.

I ordered the TCP on November 3 and received an email 3 days later stating that my order has been shipped and my credit card was charged the same day. The email stated that i would receive it within 4 to 8 weeks via regular mail. After 6 weeks I had called to check the status of my straightener because the regular mail does not take six weeks to ship within the US. They told me that is was shipped and that was all they could tell me. After 8 weeks I called again and and she said that i should have received it by now and said she was going to ship another one cause it probably got lost in the mail due to the holidays. I called a week later cause i never received an email confirming that it has been shipped and they told me hey never sent another one. So I spoke with a Manager and she told me that they would send me a new one and i had it shipped to my work this time since i never received the first one. About three weeks later i finally received it at work. It worked great for about 2 weeks then the button to turn it on would not work properly. Inorder for it to work it had to be between on and off. Then about 3 months later it completely died. It will not turn on at all. I called and complained and they told me that i did not buy the extended warranty and it was only good for thirty days, which was over before I even received the product. What a ripoff!!!! Do not waist your money and time!!!

I am reading all these stories, thinking, Why didn't I read this BEFORE I wasted my money? My story is the same as everone else's: I've owned the iron for about 2 months and now it just won't work. I thought I was getting a quality product and all I got was junk.

I ordered the TrueCeramic Pro on November 29 in hopes of having it by the holidays. It is now mid-April and I have never received the item. My credit card has been billed 4 times for monthly payments. Something has to be done about this so that we can get our money back!

I ordered the flat iron as a treat for my Birthday in Sept 2006. I used it for 1 month and it just stopped working. I would turn it on and nothing! I looked at the warranty and it is only covered for 30 days. Horrible product.

I normally don't even watch infomercials and have NEVER purchased from one before. This company has done their homework from the word go... they sold the ice to this eskimo and even found a way to keep this eskimo paying for the ice that has already melted! Believing you sincerely get what you pay for and thinking this product must be worth it's ridiculous price tag, I placed an order in January for the True Ceramic Pro-blem. On Febuary 16, I had a charge on my CC and finally the merchandise arrived. I have can checks personalized, printed and delivered by Pony Express faster. All this was quickly overlooked when I opened my lovely True Ceramic Pro-blem and it indeed tamed my frizzy mop. I was so impressed, I didn't even use the "generous" sample size bottles of hair product they tried to shove down my throat on a recurring monthly bill before finalizing payment options for the piece of crap. It simply worked great without the extra goop applied. I'm sure that probably had something do with the fact that the damn thing was 400 degrees hot and I burnt my finger tips trying to hold on to the opposite end as I slid my hair thru it. Oh, but the results were lovely. I could overlook the scorched fingertips and I now knew not to do that again (although I seem to remember the claim that the tips were able to be safely held closed... but I may have also fried my brain at 400 degrees and can't remember now). About the time payment #2 is pending a charge, True Ceramic PRO-BLEM refuses to turn on. So, THAT's why this cord has a reset and test button right? Didn't help. I wandered around the house plugging it into every outlet I could I find. Nothing happened. I called the 800 number listed on the informercial's website. Apparently they can't do anything EXCEPT continue to charge my CC for the remaining amount I owe them, as it was past 30 days and no refunds were granted after 30 days. I explained that I didn't want a refund, I simply wanted a replacement. The representative was "surprised" that it had suddenly quit working and hadn't heard of anyone else having this problem... as if I were making this up to rip THEM off. I specifically asked her if there was ANY way to remedy this situation and her answer was to buy another. I laughed and told her she was out of her rabbit @ssed mind if she thought I would continue to pay for a malfunctioning piece of crap as well as pay full price for a SECOND one that MIGHT last 30-60 days. So let's recap what you get when you "get what you pay for" with this company: 1.) Sample sized products left over from a company that went "bankrupt" selling these same products previously. (Hindsight sucks). 2.) A really cool carrying/travel case for your 400 degree iron. 3.) A cheap, plastic paddle brush. 4.) Hair clips you can get at the local beauty supply. 5.) A DVD teaching you how to use your iron for 30-60 days. 6.) Obscene shipping charge that gives new meaning to SNAIL MAIL. 7.) A warranty that barely covers the useful life of the crappy product. 8.) A product that will continue to work great as long as you have money in your wallet to buy a replacement every 2 months. I'm pretty irritated to find a smorgas board of similar stories immediately after hanging up with this woman that was so suprised to hear about my isolated case of faulty, crappily made, over hyped product that fails immediately after it's imaginary short term warranty expires.

I purchased a true ceramic pro flat iron for my 11 yr old daughter 1 week prior to Christmas of 2006 for a gift. I paid extra to have it shipped to us before Christmas, a total of $161.36 was charged to my credit card. Insane price!! This is April 2006 and it no longer works. I attempted to find the number of this company which was very difficult and I ended up going through my credit card company finding it for me, of course there was no refund offered, no one in charge to speak to us about how unhappy we were with this product. We were only given an e-mail for complaints. They stated they had no phone number to be contacted by and that no one would be responding to us. This company is a scam, and their product is awful. I would be more than willing to be involved in a law suit against them.

I currently own the TCP. I bought it last year and like most have mentioned. It STOPPED WORKING! Just out of the blue. I really liked how it left my hair but I was only able to use it for 3 weeks, then the little red light went off and no longer heated the plates At first it Started Chipping at the red plates that are so called "ceramic", no I can see the actual silvertoned plates below the red paid or cover. I bought this last year and never received a replacement, I pulled it out of the drawer to use it yesterday, it still worked Off and On but I had to keep pushing on the end of the cord..looking for the light to come on. I called 1800-961-0455(that was hard to find) and they gave me a number to call if I purchased the product before May 2006 1-866-522-6053, Rebecca said that another company was handling the product before them I called this number and guess what?!! It's the "Voice Case Info. Line at the US Bankruptcy Court for the state of Central District California"...They are not help full, I just got the run around and I don't have time for this. If there is a class suit include me in. I want what is rightfully mine and for it to work!!

i bought 3 of them! and was ripped off just like all the others. the 1st one just fell apart after 2 months, and the other two both started peeling to reveal metal plates and one of those fell apart. the one that hasn't completely fallen apart yet is holding together by a thread! I bought new ones b/c i didn't know it was a rip off. I loved the way they worked at first b/c i have natural hair that nothing else would straighten, but as soon as the metal plates became exposed they stopped working properly. I'm pissed b/c they were supposed to be 100% ceramic! And these liars still have comercials on tv!

I recently bought the the TCP thinking I would ditch my cheap iron and step up to a quality product. What a joke, it was charged on my credit card for $134.96 on 2/26/07 it just died the other day and when I called in they said that due to the fact I did not purchase the extended warranty it was only covered for 30 days. I'm submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau so I'd recommend others to do the same who are just as disgusted as I am. At least it's make me feel a little better. I certainly hope something is done about it.

The TCP is a HUGE RIP OFF. I too fell for this infomercial. I purchased the TCP in December 2006 and received it well after the 30 day "trial" period. It worked awesome... until 2 months later, it just "stopped" working. When I called them they said sorry ma'am there is nothing we can do your money back guarentee has passed. Mind you I was still on the monthly payment plan and they actually took out $49.95 the day before this had happened. I also still had one payment due after that. After getting nowhere with the customer service I immediately contacted my bank and disputed the charges (thank god they credited me back the $49.95 and also blocked them from taking anymore money)But then I get a call from their financing company threatening me if I dont pay them they wil immediately report this to all credit agencies and put me down as a refusal to pay. How can they do this???/ If anyone files a class act lawsuit please provide the details. Thank you.
