i bought 3 of them! and was ripped off just like all the others. the 1st one just fell apart after 2 months, and the other two both started peeling to reveal metal plates and one of those fell apart. the one that hasn't completely fallen apart yet is holding together by a thread! I bought new ones b/c i didn't know it was a rip off. I loved the way they worked at first b/c i have natural hair that nothing else would straighten, but as soon as the metal plates became exposed they stopped working properly. I'm pissed b/c they were supposed to be 100% ceramic! And these liars still have comercials on tv!

I recently bought the the TCP thinking I would ditch my cheap iron and step up to a quality product. What a joke, it was charged on my credit card for $134.96 on 2/26/07 it just died the other day and when I called in they said that due to the fact I did not purchase the extended warranty it was only covered for 30 days. I'm submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau so I'd recommend others to do the same who are just as disgusted as I am. At least it's make me feel a little better. I certainly hope something is done about it.

The TCP is a HUGE RIP OFF. I too fell for this infomercial. I purchased the TCP in December 2006 and received it well after the 30 day "trial" period. It worked awesome... until 2 months later, it just "stopped" working. When I called them they said sorry ma'am there is nothing we can do your money back guarentee has passed. Mind you I was still on the monthly payment plan and they actually took out $49.95 the day before this had happened. I also still had one payment due after that. After getting nowhere with the customer service I immediately contacted my bank and disputed the charges (thank god they credited me back the $49.95 and also blocked them from taking anymore money)But then I get a call from their financing company threatening me if I dont pay them they wil immediately report this to all credit agencies and put me down as a refusal to pay. How can they do this???/ If anyone files a class act lawsuit please provide the details. Thank you.

An order was placed for the True Ceramic Pro (CTP)in October, 2006, and I paid $14.99 along with other charges. The $14.99 was to be refunded if the product was returned within 30 days. The product was not received until January 9, 2007. I wrote a letter January 11,2007 to CTP and informed them I was returning the product - it was to be a Christmas present. I was told I would not be receiving the $14.99 refund. CTP is collecting $14.99 with every customer who purchases the CTP, does not receive it within the 30-day period and decides to return the item. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office in my State.

I ordered a True Ceramic Pro back when the infomercials first came on TV. It took almost 3 months for me to receive the iron, and during that time they subtracted the payments from my account. When they took the payments, I called them and thy told me each time my iron had been shipped "that week". Several months ago, I got a postcard and calls saying that I still owed money on the iron. I've explained repeatedly that they collected ALL of the payment before I ever got the iron. Like others they threaten my credit. This company needs to be investigated and shut down!

I purchased the Tru Ceramic Pro less than a year ago and couldn't remember the warranty/guarantee. It worked one morning, we turned it off and then it wouldn't turn back on. I closed the bank account that the money was drawn from & can't find the statements to get the number for the iron. I began to look online and all I find are the websites [], etc. and these blogs. I am now reading all the horror stories and find I was probably taken. I am really pissed off. As a mother of 3 girls I don't get $100+ irons, but this one was in payments so I allowed it. The item was kept very safe and I thought I had something for me and my girls similar to ones used in average salons, like Chi. $140ish is freakin outrageous for a product that lasts less than a year, especially when my $25 curling iron/straigtener by Revlon worked for 2-3 years before it broke and it's still workable, a clip just broke. Yeah I'd join a class action. What now?

I bought a TCP Dec. 2006 for $143.00 it was a Christmas present for my daughter. I unfortunately she didn't receive it till Jan. 2007. It is now April 3, 2007 and the iron died last week. I am livid. What a scam. I hope these people a responsible for their faulty product and are liable!

I purchased the tcp. It only worked about a month. I reported it immediately. The rep. really seemed concerned, she replied Im a consumer as well, agreed that it should be replaced. I too paid in full. She explained that my case would be sent to upper management, I should expect a call in about a week. I gave my information. Of course everyone knows the call never came. Ive tried tocontact them over and over to no avail. I expressed that this was bad business and they have certainly made me think twice before I ever order from t.v. again. I agree that we collectively should combine against this company collectively. We should call one of the major news channels like cnn. To me this is major enough because with just these complaints ffrom this sight should be adequte enough to be heard. It will probably draw others out that havent bothered to complain. To wilfully scam and sell defective merchandise for profit should be illegal or brought to the light,to the degree that this company crashes. I dont use profanity, but I can think of a few choice words for this comp. This is scandelous, Lets get the e-mail going call some net works and bring this to the light. Informercials are expensive. They are paying big, So you know they are getting paid major money for this hipocritical, scandelous, mischievious, acts. Lets find a way to make them pay. If the BBB. cant help the NEWS is the best way. Im from Ohio we have 2on yur side news that investigates issues like this and expose them.however I believe this is bigger than Ohio news. Send your mail. [] Lets fight back. We are not wealthy people at least Im not. I dont have 150.00 dollars to throw away.

I ordered this product on April 1st. They debit my account on April 5th (no confirmation email sent like their website said I would get -- big red flag right there). I got the product a week later. Item works just fine (for now). What their website fails to inform you is that the $14.95 + $15.95 s&h is ONLY for the first 30 days ... that is NOT the ENTIRE purchase price, and that they will continue to debit your credit card for $39.99 every month for FOUR MONTHS. What a friggin' scam AND rip off! They better enjoy that money, because that's the last they're getting from me!

I purchased the iron for $143.40. No return info was sent. No wonder it's a scam. The iron worked for less than 2 weeks then wouldn't turn on. I had to do some research to find these people (they debited my checking acct.) Sorry it's past 30 days. People like this belong in jail. Barbara

I purchased the TrueCeramicPro Sept. 06, and in the six month period, it stopped working. Like all the other complaints, my call was directed to a recording that told me if I want adult talk I should call such number. I was appalled by this. I used the iron very little, but my daughter was very happy with the product, until it stopped working. My daughter didn't misuse the product, so I know that it wasn't our fault it stopped working. I paid $145.00 for this product and I expected it to work for a longer time not just six months.

I've had my TCP for a year and loved it until last week when it stopped working for no reason, i was ready to purchase a new one thinking it was something i did. good thing i found this website.

I am on the phone right now with this unintelligent person named Kevin!!! I had to call the company because when I made my purchase of the orginal amount of 47.91, that included the trial fee, the fee for the extra product they are giving you and shipping and handling...now for an extra 5.00 you are able to recieve you TCP in 7-10 days. The idiot that orginally took my order never told me 7-15 business days or I wouldn't have paid the 15.94 as I was just told on the phone. So, I ordered this on March 10th, 2007 haven't rcvd it as of today, and have been charged more than I was advised. Oh wait, I forgot to mention, I have lived in the same zip code for 31 years and guess what they say that I gave the wrong zip code. Can someone please tell my why I would give the wrong zip code, give them more money than I had advised I would so that they could RUSH this to me in 7-15 business days? The unintelligent person's name listed above is Kevin, yes he took my call when I called to the customer service. I requested more than I can count on both hands to speak to a supervisor. I was told no, not only was I told no but I was told that unless I had any other questions for a different matter that he would have to disconnect the call. I have already called my bank to disput the amount because I didn't authorize the amount the first person said but since I was told I have to give them until March 30th to receive this TCP I can't disput with my bank until then. Looks as though I am going to be out the first 47.91. I really am pissed. I can't beleive I fell for something, I guess if it sounds to good to be true it is. I was wondering about a class action lawsuit and would like to know if this is going to happen and how to get involved. They need to be held accountable for this and everyone should not only be eligible for the amount they paid but for the time spent trying to track everything down... one last note, when I was telling Kevin that I hadn't received the product yet (after I told him she sent it to the wrong zip code) he says, "well, I see that has been shipped to 23451 zip code" to which i ever so politely said, "are you deaf? did you not hear me tell you that is not my zip code and never has been? why would i purposefully give my wrong zip code". his stupid response, " well, you still have to give 30 days for shipment".

I hope that this is posted along with all the other complaints about Advanced Beauty Solution's True ceramic Pro (they should have called it a True Piece of Crap). I too have purchased an iron about 2 years ago from the infomercial on TV and since then I had the defect in the ceramic paint chipping in which they actually sent me another iron, but not after multiple phone calls and being jerked around for over a month. The replacement iron that they sent me has recently stopped working altogether but not due to any negligence on my part. I have done research on line to find who I should contact and the customer service phone number, 1-800-961-0455, which was given to me from an online chat employ. When I called it, it basically brought me to a dead end. I called the customer service number that I was given and was told to call 1-866-522-6053 which is suppose to be the contact number for advanced beauty solutions, but guess what, the number is a non-working number. After that I called back the first number to tell them they gave me a non-working number and to try to get further help. Well they were very rude, refused to help at all and then actually hung up on me. I would like to start up a class action suit against Advanced beauty solutions as well as the current owner's of this defective product of which they call the True ceramic Pro. I have a brother-in-law who is an attorney and I will be finding out how to start up the class action suit. But it will require help on everyone who has had a similar problem as me. Everyone needs to document all phone calls, emails or any information concerning this matter. The more documents we all have the stronger and better case we all will have. I too have been denied a refund of my purchase price which was $120.00 plus shipping and handling, so if that is all we get back out of this law suit, at least we get back what is rightfully ours. But I have a feeling that we will get much, much, much more money than that because we can sue them for millions. If anyone is interested in the class action suit, than mail me a letter at []

I purchased this product three weeks ago. I got it in the mail from UPS, opened the box and looking forward to trying it out. The product was broken in the box. I got into an arguement with them about returning it. I have to pay for return shipping in order for them to replace it. I think it is terrible that a product is broken and they make the consumer pay for return shipping when the product has never been used. I am returning it for a full refund less the shipping.

I purchased a TCP in November and paid the rush processing charge but I didn't receive it until January. The company did eventually refund the rush processing charge. The TCP was the best flat iron I had ever used but after two months it quit working. There was a problem with the connection in swivel part of the cord. I contacted the company and their solution was to try to give me a 'good' deal on their $250 delux package. I had already spent over $160 on the first TCP and now that it didn't work, they expected me to purchase another one. I didn't purchase the warranty on the first one because it expected it to work or for them to stand behind their product. I was in complete disbelief. And the worst part is that in the two months that it worked great, I told family and friends how great it was. Well, two of my sisters purchased TCPs also and, guess what?? They have the same problem now with their TCPs that I have with mine. I feel kind of bad for them. When I called the company, I was told that it was too late for a refund or a replacement. I explained to them that it wasn't right for them to take my money and that they should stand behind their product better. I also let them know that I would be going back and letting people know how bad their product really turned out to be.

I bought the True Ceramic Pro back last year & I decided not to curl my hair-since it was a little damaged already-so I tried to email them to find an address to send it back & I got nothing back, but I have noticed, they keep taking money from my credit card-every month-even after ask them not to! This is such a scam & can't believe I did this! DO NOT BUY this product-this is a REAL scam!

I ordered true ceramic pro the beginning of Jan and they charged me $14.95 for shipping and didn't recieve it untill the end of Jan. Why did it take so long? Then right past the 30 day period it quite working. I called and they said theres nothing they can do about it because it's past the 30 days. There going by the date when I ordered it, not the date I recieved it. See thats how they make there money, they make sure you get it late so you don't have time to send it back and get a refund. What a freakin scam! I will never order anything like that again!! I Paid them $130.00 for what a non-working hair straightener!!! From now on I'm going to by items like that at the store because sometimes they go passed the 30 days from when you bought it and usually come with up to 5 year warrantys.
