I am on the phone right now with this unintelligent person named Kevin!!! I had to call the company because when I made my purchase of the orginal amount of 47.91, that included the trial fee, the fee for the extra product they are giving you and shipping and handling...now for an extra 5.00 you are able to recieve you TCP in 7-10 days. The idiot that orginally took my order never told me 7-15 business days or I wouldn't have paid the 15.94 as I was just told on the phone. So, I ordered this on March 10th, 2007 haven't rcvd it as of today, and have been charged more than I was advised. Oh wait, I forgot to mention, I have lived in the same zip code for 31 years and guess what they say that I gave the wrong zip code. Can someone please tell my why I would give the wrong zip code, give them more money than I had advised I would so that they could RUSH this to me in 7-15 business days? The unintelligent person's name listed above is Kevin, yes he took my call when I called to the customer service. I requested more than I can count on both hands to speak to a supervisor. I was told no, not only was I told no but I was told that unless I had any other questions for a different matter that he would have to disconnect the call. I have already called my bank to disput the amount because I didn't authorize the amount the first person said but since I was told I have to give them until March 30th to receive this TCP I can't disput with my bank until then. Looks as though I am going to be out the first 47.91. I really am pissed. I can't beleive I fell for something, I guess if it sounds to good to be true it is. I was wondering about a class action lawsuit and would like to know if this is going to happen and how to get involved. They need to be held accountable for this and everyone should not only be eligible for the amount they paid but for the time spent trying to track everything down... one last note, when I was telling Kevin that I hadn't received the product yet (after I told him she sent it to the wrong zip code) he says, "well, I see that has been shipped to 23451 zip code" to which i ever so politely said, "are you deaf? did you not hear me tell you that is not my zip code and never has been? why would i purposefully give my wrong zip code". his stupid response, " well, you still have to give 30 days for shipment".

I hope that this is posted along with all the other complaints about Advanced Beauty Solution's True ceramic Pro (they should have called it a True Piece of Crap). I too have purchased an iron about 2 years ago from the infomercial on TV and since then I had the defect in the ceramic paint chipping in which they actually sent me another iron, but not after multiple phone calls and being jerked around for over a month. The replacement iron that they sent me has recently stopped working altogether but not due to any negligence on my part. I have done research on line to find who I should contact and the customer service phone number, 1-800-961-0455, which was given to me from an online chat employ. When I called it, it basically brought me to a dead end. I called the customer service number that I was given and was told to call 1-866-522-6053 which is suppose to be the contact number for advanced beauty solutions, but guess what, the number is a non-working number. After that I called back the first number to tell them they gave me a non-working number and to try to get further help. Well they were very rude, refused to help at all and then actually hung up on me. I would like to start up a class action suit against Advanced beauty solutions as well as the current owner's of this defective product of which they call the True ceramic Pro. I have a brother-in-law who is an attorney and I will be finding out how to start up the class action suit. But it will require help on everyone who has had a similar problem as me. Everyone needs to document all phone calls, emails or any information concerning this matter. The more documents we all have the stronger and better case we all will have. I too have been denied a refund of my purchase price which was $120.00 plus shipping and handling, so if that is all we get back out of this law suit, at least we get back what is rightfully ours. But I have a feeling that we will get much, much, much more money than that because we can sue them for millions. If anyone is interested in the class action suit, than mail me a letter at []

I purchased this product three weeks ago. I got it in the mail from UPS, opened the box and looking forward to trying it out. The product was broken in the box. I got into an arguement with them about returning it. I have to pay for return shipping in order for them to replace it. I think it is terrible that a product is broken and they make the consumer pay for return shipping when the product has never been used. I am returning it for a full refund less the shipping.

I purchased a TCP in November and paid the rush processing charge but I didn't receive it until January. The company did eventually refund the rush processing charge. The TCP was the best flat iron I had ever used but after two months it quit working. There was a problem with the connection in swivel part of the cord. I contacted the company and their solution was to try to give me a 'good' deal on their $250 delux package. I had already spent over $160 on the first TCP and now that it didn't work, they expected me to purchase another one. I didn't purchase the warranty on the first one because it expected it to work or for them to stand behind their product. I was in complete disbelief. And the worst part is that in the two months that it worked great, I told family and friends how great it was. Well, two of my sisters purchased TCPs also and, guess what?? They have the same problem now with their TCPs that I have with mine. I feel kind of bad for them. When I called the company, I was told that it was too late for a refund or a replacement. I explained to them that it wasn't right for them to take my money and that they should stand behind their product better. I also let them know that I would be going back and letting people know how bad their product really turned out to be.

I bought the True Ceramic Pro back last year & I decided not to curl my hair-since it was a little damaged already-so I tried to email them to find an address to send it back & I got nothing back, but I have noticed, they keep taking money from my credit card-every month-even after ask them not to! This is such a scam & can't believe I did this! DO NOT BUY this product-this is a REAL scam!

I ordered true ceramic pro the beginning of Jan and they charged me $14.95 for shipping and didn't recieve it untill the end of Jan. Why did it take so long? Then right past the 30 day period it quite working. I called and they said theres nothing they can do about it because it's past the 30 days. There going by the date when I ordered it, not the date I recieved it. See thats how they make there money, they make sure you get it late so you don't have time to send it back and get a refund. What a freakin scam! I will never order anything like that again!! I Paid them $130.00 for what a non-working hair straightener!!! From now on I'm going to by items like that at the store because sometimes they go passed the 30 days from when you bought it and usually come with up to 5 year warrantys.

It work nice the only problem it was used four (4) times and then didn't work anymore. The little red light turns off and never back on. And because it has only 30 days guarantee so I have no replacement. The worst $135 spend.

I purchased the True Ceramic Pro just less than 6 months ago. I absolutely loved it and the products I purchased with it. But, four days ago it quit working. I found the paperwork and was thankful to see that there was a 6 month warranty. I called the number and it was some kind "call 1-900 number for to talk to interesting people" or something like that and then it hangs up. I then called the number on my email receipt and they confirmed to me they are the True Ceramic Pro Company but there is no such thing as a 6 month warranty. There is a 30-day guarantee and I was told continuously that my warranty is out of date. The first guy became a jerk and kept repeating the same thing over and over and then said if I had no further new questions, he was ending the call and he hung up. A few hours later, I called again and receive the same information and treatment. I told them I could make a copy of 2 papers that were included in with my Ceramic Pro proving the 6 month warranty and they said I could fax it but it wouldn't do any good. The woman I was talking to the second time hung up on me after what sounded like rehearsed statements similar to the first person I talked with. They had both put me on hold several times acting like they were investigating my claim of a 6 month warranty. Unfortunately, my 6 month warranty is technically up today. I never expected this at all. I was willing to pay to have my Ceramic Pro fixed, but now I wouldn't even think of expecting anything in return from them, whoever they are. Both persons I spoke with were difficult to understand and disrespectful. They just out and out say there is no such thing as a 6 month warranty and never has been. I sat there and read the warranty to them exactly as it is on the paperwork. I just now (in the middle of this email) called for a third time. The man I just spoke with was much nicer and he asked me if there was another company name on any of the paperwork and I told him that there was and it says "Advanced beauty solutions." He said he was afraid of that. He said that their paperwork was not supposed to have been shipped with the product because that company declared bankruptcy. Their number was the one with the recording and I tried to get to to their website but it is not available. I believe him and at least he was much nicer. But, I would assume that the two companies are one and the same. The first company selling a defective prodcut and when they realize they cannot follow through with the guarantee they delcare bankruptcy. The second company is established to get rid of the remainder of the Ceramic Pro's without having to honor the 6 month warranty. I spent a lot of money for a 6 month product. It is really disappointing that people feel okay about knowingly selling a defective product and not honoring their own warranty. I always wonder how some people sleep at night, but unfortunately, they seem to sleep just fine.

I saw the infomercail on 10-06 and have not yet to recieve a hair straightner. My credit card has been debted since Oct, of 2006 $39.99 every month we are now in March of 2007 and I have yet to recieve anything I am very upset. I call my bank to see if there is a number from the place that is taking out if my bank account and the number that gave me is a billing agency only and they said that TRUE CERAMIC PRO was the only company that they bill for that has no contact number so I got online to look to see if I could find the number and when I get online i come upon this. I am shocked I can not believe that not only me but several people have been screwed over by this product. i hope that there is something that we can do because this is just not RIGHT....

I ordered the True Ceramic Pro after seeing an infomercial on TV in November! I waited and waited and it never came!!! I called the number listed on my CC statement because they had charged over $60 to my account and I received nothing!! I got somebody on the phone and she apologized and said she would send another. This was in January!!! I have still received nothing and have since switched banks, and I can not find the statement that had the phone number listed on it!! I don't have a lot of money and to pay over $60 for nothing makes me very upset!!! I wish I would have looked into the product before I ordered...I will be much more careful the next time!!

When I was 14, I asked my dad to buy me a non-crappy hair straightener, and told him about one I had seen at a salon. it was 400 degrees (like the TCP) but only $75 dollars. My dad said he was up late watching infomercials (like always) and ordered me one from there. He said he spent 180 on it. Right then and there I thought it was a scam. When it arrived 6 weeks later, I couldn't have been happier. It worked wonders in my hair, and i loved the supplies it came with. After a little while the paint started to chip. I thought it wasn't a big deal because it was getting the job done. One morning it wouldn't turn on. I was furious, tried about 6 different outlets, but then my mom turned it on... and it worked. a month or so later, the same thing happened, but it would NOT turn on. i became furious and threw it against the wall, which caused it to snap in half. I sent it back complaining about the wire shorting and chipping, and how it just "accidently" snapped while doing my hair. I got a new one about 6 weeks later. the red paint has not chipped, but i did experience more shorts. i got my dad to re attacch the wires and it worked great for a few months. now, it goes from on/off, but it's manageable. The other day i noticed a crack just at the end of the plate. Then it snapped off. I still have the box, so i wraped it up into the box and my dad is going to send it back and claim for a new one. This is about 18 months after the first payment, but something should be done. Either way, i warned my dad it was a scam, his fault for not choosing to listen!

I have the same story as everyone else. The product stopped working and there is no working number to reach to get a replacement or to get money back.

I purchased the TCP for my Wife as a Christmas gift after she went wild over the infomercial we saw on late night TV. I bought it in November of 2006 and it of course arrived well after Christmas, sometime around the middle of January. She absoloutly loved the iron and was using all the time. After a month of use it just quit. Nothing! I checked all the electrical I could and to no avail it still does not work! I then began the contact process. After about 3 emails I finally got a responce, I was about to write it off as lessoned learned, but the responce was as all have written before that it was out of waranty, I then reponded to them saying "yes I did Purchase the unit in November, but you failed to accept that fact that i received the unit in January". I personaly beleive as a waranty it should not begin until I have at least received it. They actually responded and asked me to send it back to them for repair. imagine that! Unfortunately for me I no longer have the packaging for the unit so i am undecided on how to return it. after reading some of the letters here it seems, I may never see it again. wish I read this page before my purchase.

I bought the tru ceramic pro through a tv infomercial. I paid 14.99 and then ended up being charged several more payments on my credit card. I made complaints that the red paint began chipping off (the informercial claimed that the platesweren't painted). They sent me a recall notice and i was asked to return the unit. I sent the unit back but have never heard another thing from the company. they got my money and the unit. I have been trying to find anyone who is still trying to get a response and I finally found this site. I am interested in class action if anyone hears anything about it.

My blood boiled over when I came across this site...while looking for a number to call the TrueCeramic People. I bought my TCP March 15, 2005 (my bank statement are very organized) I paid the initial $14.99 for the 30 day trial and then April 15, May 17 and June 15 (of 2005) TCP deducted $39.99 out of my account. That is a total of $134.96. I would use TCP every couple of weeks for 2-4 consecutive days. I've never had a problem with it and SWORE by it to everyone, practically making everyone I know buy one. I straightened my hair Saturday (February 24, 2007), I did a retouch on Sunday and on Monday. Tuesday morning when I plugged my TCP in, it wouldn't even come on. Naturally I got very annoyed. Although it was a great product to use for 2 years I do believe it came with a lifetime guarantee (unfortunately I can't seem to find that certificate it came with.) This is totally wrong especially since they are aware of the problem but continue to sell them. As I am a LAW student and work in a large firm I will have to look into some kind of contract breach action against these people, there are too many unsatisfied customers!

My TCP just died on me and I've had it for 4 months. I wish I read the reviews sooner, I would've bought the CHI iron instead. I called customer service and it's the same story. The 30 day guarantee is over, blah blah. In short, they can't do anything about it. Does anybody know a lawyer? Maybe this is a cause for a class lawsuit.

I purchased the True Ceramic Pro almost 2 years ago and it worked great. I used it about 2-3 times a month. Right away the paint started to come off but as long as it still worked I didn't care about that. A couple of months ago I was using it and it shorted out on me. After an hour I was able to use it again. It worked fine for about a month but then shorted out on me again. It has never worked again. I took it to be repaired but it has wierd screws so it would have to be sent in right to the company. I paid close to $200.00 canadian for this after the exchange rate for US $. There is obviously something very wrong with the equipment. I could not believe that other people had the same complaints. I am very disappointed in the company. Do not buy this product go to your local salon and order a professional flat iron one that would have some sort of warranty.

$161.00 for a product that doesn't live up to the description and function advertised. It was used for about 2 months and quit working after it started sparking and smoking. Not a good way to make friends and influence people....throw something together, make it look enticing and sell it without a full range of tests and quality assurance before it's sent to the public. Underwriters Labs probably never got the item for inspection. I got the phone number for returns and was given a RMA number and address in Tennessee. I will return this item for repair and/or replacement and if it doesn't come back and work properly for more than two months, this company will be approached for a full refund. Although I have read all the 292 complaints for this item I am still willing to give the company, and item, another chance to give me something I can rely on for more than 60 days and $160.
