I ordered the True Ceramic Pro off the infomercial on 12/9/06. After
thinking about the $190.89 the operator worked the bill up to, I decided to cancel the order. I called and cancelled it, and I also wrote an e-mail to cancel it so I would have a written copy of the transaction. I then put a stop payment on my debit card for this amount "just in case they tried to pull something". The stop payment ended 1/11/07. On 1/12/07 they ran the charge through. Now I can't reach them, and they never did send the product to me. I can't afford to be scammed out of $190.89, but I can't find them! What a crooked scheme....makes it tough for all the good things advertised on TV. I'm not giving up on this yet. SG

Hi Ladies, Well, guess what, two weeks ago my TCP decided to stop working. Like many of you have said, literally within the first month the red paint started to chip off. Since it was still working, I didn't want to bother with the hassle of returning it. Well, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones since it's been working for all most a year, but it's stopped heating, and I have managed to "jimmie" the cord to try and reroute power...I was about to order a new one since it does the job, until I came across all these postings!!! All in all, A LOT of money to pay, for something with such a short life span.

I purchased the True Ceramic Pro last month, December 2006. It is now Jan 2007 & the iron has completely stopped working. It will not power on. It worked less than one month! The faceplate with the on/off slide was cracked when I received it, but it still worked so I didnt worry too much about it. Also, the plates show metal underneath, where the red paint rubbed off. I've emailed ABS & haven't heard back. Judging by what other's have wrote, I probably never will. Avoid this product!! Complete ripoff!!

The True Ceramic Pro does NOT live up to the promises of the company .Mine is falling apart after being used only 5 times .I am a hairdresser so know how to evaluate this appliance and we have been scammed !!

Well, let's just say I am FURIOUS about the product! Paid for the Tru Ceramic Pro in full about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Now I have it FINALLY and turned it on, NO LIGHT, NO HEAT! It doesn't freakin work!!!!!!!!!!!! They are gonna here it from me, however after reading all the complaints, I guess I can shove it, cause it seems to me like nobody's problem has truly been taken care of...feel really robbed right now! I bought this product the beginning of Nov. It took until the Jan. for it to arrive. I had called the company several times as to when it would be shipped.It had been 3 weeks when I called the first time. They kept giving me various dates. The time went on and the dates were getting later and later....BUT they still claimed it was shipped in November. Here is was Jan. and I didn't have it yet. It arrived the first week of Jan. 8 weeks after I ordered it! By then I didn't need it since it was a Christmas gift. Interestingly, there was no dates on the box, no paperwork inside, nothing. That right there told me they were trying to hide something. There wasn't even a return address on the box. Just my name and a postal bar code. I had already called my credit card company just to see how many charges they had charged and there were already 2 and I had not even reeived it yet! I called them when it finally arrived, got a return number and mailed it priority and sent it so they had to sign for it. It arrived and no one was there to sign for it so the Post Office let 2 notices and it was never claimed. Now it is being returned to me. I called my credit card company and I am disputing the charges. I will send the credit card company copies of the shipping info, copies of the labels I took off the box, I'll print some of these complaints so they can see this company is a fraud and I am sure I will get the product returned to me. I will give that to the bank also :) File with your Credit Card Companies, don't let them keep your money. JM

BE WARNED! Although I have not had any problems with my true ceramic pro yet, I did pay an extra $15.98 to have it shipped fast on top of the $15.98 they charged for regular shipping and it took FOUR WEEKS to arrive. When I called to complain I spent over three hours on hold total (between three separate phone calls) and they refused to reimburse me the extra shipping saying that it was only promised to ship fast not arrive fast. WHAT A CROCK! DO NOT TRUST THE TRUE CERAMIC PRO COMPANY!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! I tried it, it didn't work, I returned it and am still fighting for my money. They told me today that they credited my account 64.99 - I just want to know where the other 90.00 is! I told them today that if it is not credited to my account by next week as the promise it will be, I WILL get my attorney involved, and you can bet that I will! Worst experience I've ever had buying anything online!

I am trying to get my refund as well. they are not willing to do anything. I have asked to get together and do a class action lawsuit. with all these people having the same story relatively they can go under. I see they are under bankruptcy now. if you search google or ask.com you will find it as well. also in another posting in here someone provided a long distance number and that is the same company as well. they have changed names numerous times within the past 3 years. this company will get caught one way or another.

I am wanting to get together and do a class action lawsuit for this company. I dont want to go into the details for I am already mad enough. I have ran into the same problems that everyone else on here has. Please help. I need help resolving this issue before THEY take ANY MORE MONEY of mine!!! No product, No answers to why, and NO REFUND!!! helpless in indy, please help me if anyone has got to the bottom of this company.

I purchased the product from the infomercial and loved it, until it quit working! Coincidentally, it was three days after the last payment of $39.99. I called and got the usual run-around from Customer Service, never could speak to a supervisor, your complaint has been passed on to upper management, etc. Well, they are based in Tennessee, and that state has strong consumer protection laws. I'm going to get their asses! It'll cost more than the $139 I paid for the flat iron, but I'm going to get even.

I purchased the product in Approx. November 2005. At first the product was excellent. The styling spray is what really works. I continued using the spray with the Chi flat iron and it works really good. The flat iron broke within one week. When I called, I was told that they only had an exchange policy. This policy was to order a new one, send back the old one and I would be refunded. I fell for the scam. I ordered a new one, which arrived to me 3 months later. When it finally came,it broke only 3days later. I was never reimbursed for the first iron and I was stuck with a broken flat iron and out of $300.00. I called them again and was given the run around. They never returned my call and I was never reimbursed. It's sickening. This taught me a great lesson. Never buy from TV infomercials. I can't trust them anymore.

I just received my TCP after ordering it at the end of December. When I called them when I got charged the second payment without receiving the product, they told me that it was shipped out, they didn't know what happened but they would send another one and I would receive it in two weeks. I got it in 3 weeks. It didn't include the DVD as promised so I will be sending it back. Luckily the credit card company will re-imburse me the money. I just wanted to post a website that might be of interest to everyone. A manufacturing company that won a lawsuit against Advanced Beauty Solutions is now marketing and selling the product. They manufactured over a million dollars worth of these things and sent them to ABS and never got paid for them. So they won the lawsuit. However, based on what I'm reading and the time frame, it seems that this manufacturing company may be responsible for the demise of ABS. The defective products hit the market when they started manufacturing for ABS. Here is the website.....[]

I have the ceramic pro also and it BURNED MY HAIR. The coding on the ceramic plates came off and the metal was exposed. When writing to them i was told it makes no difference.........yep until i burned my hair. This product is a total scam DO NOT BUY

Hey. I recently purchased the TCP for around $$$150!! I paid good money because I thought was would be a decent product. They say my order would be in, i ordered mine Nov. 18, 2006. It's Jan. 5 2007! About 3 months---they told me 4-6 weeks. I call in (customer service number- (800)-961-1455) and they said i should of had my order already. Where was it? I don't know. I asked them to re-ship it. It was re-shipped it yesterday and they say it will be in, in like 2-4 weeks. HA! Yeahh, we will see about that. That made me reallllly P.O.ed.

i had my mom order the true ceramic pro out of fingerhut because i had wanted to try it for a long time and coulnt find it on tv anymore so i was so happy when i found it in fingerhut i only used it one time and didnt like it after spending 130.00 on it my 60.00 cheap one worked way better well i decied to give it another shot i started to smell burnt when i looked my hair was melting away and then it poped open in my face the to plates were exposeing the inside i have hair pass my butt and had to cut my sideburn to the scalp i looks like shit i havent cut my hair in 8 years and when i called finghut they were giving me bullshit like they need my moms acct# to see who the manufactuer was that they werent going to stop selling it because it was only mine that had this problem and i could get online to look up who manufactures it well i did and this is the only web site i found so i am protesting true ceramic and fingerhut for not prtecting its coustmers to all the people who have yet to get theres be glad because it could harm you or your child i really exploded in my hand secounds after melting my hair i would love to take this up in court but unfortunaly dont have the funds to go there i started to grow my hair because a beaution fryed it off that was 8 yrs ago and iwas to scared to even have it cut and now this fucken thing ruins it in 1 swipe and almost takes the side of my face off

I ordered a TCP on 11/7/06, I have the reps name and a confirmation #, the product has been charged to my credit card but I am yet to receive the product. I've called every day since the beginning of Dec, live chat no response, emails no answer back called 6 different phone numbers and get a message that the mail box is full (all of them)and can not leave a message. I am totally disappointed with the company and the product I guess I'll never know if it was worth the hassle.

Ordered on line on 12/27/06. Receive receipt for $134.96. This was NOT the deal I agreed to. TRied to cancel 7am same day. Was told order not received yet. Told to call back between 12-2pm , same day. At 105pm told order not thru yet, call back before 7pm same day. Told order not thru yet. Called 7am on 12/28, told order not thru yet. Told I could email info to [email protected]. They emailed back saying I had to call 615-449-8877. I emailed back saying no way, you cancel the product. At 5.07pm on 12/28 received automated email syaying product had been shipped via UPS. Called Customer service yet again.They advised it couldnt have been shipped because it was back-ordered. The whole thing is a scam and these criminals should be shut down and put in jail effective immediately.
