Purchased the TCP in 2006. It took exactly 6 weeks to the day to receive from a warehouse I could have driven to in 1 day. The product works, I loved it, but it didn't last long. Within 2 months it began shorting out any time it was moved (I think it was the cord). I called, got an RA# and sent the unit back for a replacement. I received the replacement in July of 2007. Here we are again with a unit displaying signs of some type of electrical problem, comes on and off intermittently, shuts on and off when you move it, and then one day - it no longer comes on at all. Called customer service and what a surprise, the center in Lebanon no longer services this item. I think the makers of TCP have to know that they have been selling a product that has electrical problems, and from the other complaints here, it also sounds as though I might as well throw it in the trash and eat the hundres of dollars it cost. Not yet, I am going to try for a refund, but won't hold my breath.

I bought the flat iron in Nov 2006, by August 2007 the iron would no longer heat. I contacted the customer service rep and was told that there was a $29.95 fee and a new one would be shipped to me within 2 weeks. That was on Sept 21,2007. Today is Nov 5th and I have spoke with the reps a dozen times. Each time I am told it will take 2 more weeks. Today, I was directed to an entirely new number. I have been on hold for 30 minutes already. Last week a manager was supposed to call me back within 24 hours. I'm still waiting!!! Don't buy this product. They sell better ones, cheaper in the mall and there, you can get a rep when you need one!!!!!!!!

I purchased my TCP in March of 2007 and loved the product. It did what is was to do, but then about 2 months ago it stopped working. Sometimes it would turn on and sometimes it wouldn't. I have called, gotten a run around, filed a replacement order, no response and now I find this web site and see I'm not the only person getting the same run around. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and will continue to try and get my money back. I advise that no one purchase this product.

Please don't buy this product! One my way to work one day I heard about a product that was suppose to be the best hair straightener around. I called up payed the crazy price in hopes that my hair would stop getting frizzy as soon as I walked out the door. I even payed the extra money to get the two year warrenty. Now less the a year later I have returned my product for the second time. The first return I received back within a couple of weeks. This last on is a completely different story. I returned it this time the week of 9-15-07 I tried calling a week ago to find out the status but they moved for Lebanon to California. Their new number is 1-800-901-5288 their manager is Raul, sorry no last name the don't give out last names. According to the people that I have talked to the changed customer service companies and now it will cost me thirty dollars to have them put my information into the computer and get my return. If you sent yours to Lebonan you will have to do the same because none of of the old account were givin to the new customer service. I will be giving Raul a call in three hours. If he can fix this at no charge or give me all my money back then I will be reporting them to the better business buerua.

I purchased 12/06!!! It stopped working 4/07. I called the only number I had and they told me to return it and they would send a replacement. My U.S. Postal service Delivery Confirmation Receipt says they received it on 6/23/07 and I finally called in August and they said it is on it's way! It is now October 19,2007 and I have made 12 phone calls and they said I need to contact Lebenon, Tennessee but they don't have a phone number. Ironically, the 800-901-5288 phone number is the only one I have called!! WHAT A SCAM!!!!! Isn't there anything we can do!!!

I bought the tru ceramic pro 4/2005. The product worked for maybe 2 months and I loved the it. When it stopped working, I called the company because they promised a free replacement. I could not get through because their phone lines were being updated. I never was able to get through, so I email them several time. I never got any response. Is there a way to get my money back?

September 22,2007 I recently just odered a true ceramic Pro from [] and let me tell you it's a piece of garbage. They will sound so sweet to you on the phone, so you can purchase this item.I was doing my daughter's hair when it just turned off on me.I called them up,let them know the situation and they send me another one without any guestion. The second one did the same thing.I got furious because right there I knew they took like a sucker.People, plaese do not oder anything from that website,it's a rippe off.I'm still waiting for my money.

I purchased two of these pieces of garbage in Oct. 06, one of them was for my daughter's birthday and the other was for me. My first TC quite working in March of 07. I spent the extra money for this shipping I would have a tracking # and so I would get it back quickly. I didn't get it back for two months. Then my second one went out, July 07. I also sent it out Fed Ex and it is Sept 28 and I still don't have the July one back. During the time I have been waiting for the other one to be returned to me my second one went out. Soooo now we don't have even one to use. There is no way to get any help from the company because the number you call is ony a distribution center and they have nothing to do with the product other than shipping these things out. The actual company is in CA, but they are smart enough to not have a published number. That should be the first clue. What legitimate company has no phone number listed. Do Not buy this product. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau

Wow!!! This has been a nightmare! I ordered this for my daughter as a birthday gift. It stopped working after 2 months! Almost $200 later i'm told the company went out of buisness!!!! (BANKRUPT) I have tried to get in contact with someone to get my money back or to have the product replaced/ never have I had such a run around. By this time 2 years later I give up!! Do not buy this product! Scam!!!!!!!

I ordered the ceramic pro and they charged my card but I never received the product. I called customer service and they sent me out another one. I finally got that one but never received the first one I ordered. I used it for about a month and the switch on it broke and I had my boyfriend fix it. It worked for about a week and then broke again. I finally threw it out. It's so not worth the money at all!

I ordered the TCP from an infomercial and they billed my credit card the next day. I didn't recieve it and after at least 4 weeks I called the customer service number. They said they would send another and I would recieve it within a week. Low and behold the first one came and then the second one. The first one worked for about a month so I was glad to have the second one. This one worked a little longer but it would go off after a short time. I think it is ridiculous to sell a product for well over $100 and it not work for longer than a couple of months. I have yet to hear back from anyone in regards to my complaint. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone, I think it is a SCAM!!!!!!

My cousin has the True Ceramic Pro and it works great and I loved it when she used it on my hair. I decided to order one myself and ordered it from your store online. com. Well wouldn't you know it, it came in the mail today and it says hair genie. So the person who was really ripped off is ME. This thing is crap, totally does not straighten and doesn't even clamp right. I apparantly got a knockoff. I cannot get in touch with the company and I am going to fight the charge on my credit card. I'm so annoyed. My time is valuable and I spent an hour on the phone today on hold trying to work this out to no avail.

long ago i purchased a true cramic pro. i waited in the mail for it, and it never came. i called in and had them re-ship it and a few days later the original one came in. the re-shipped one came in a few weeks later. so i had two, for the price of one. THEY BOTH BROKE!! it worked like a charm and i used it for like 6 months. oh it made me MAD.

First of all I have had my TCP for about 6 months. The first week I had it I laid it on my sofa table to heat up never thinking the outside would get so hot it would break the glass in my table. As the infomercial states it does not get hot on the outer part.HAHA I found out the hard way. Complaint #2: I then began to notice the paint chipping from the iron and pulling on my hair. Complaint #3: There is now a short in the cord and sometimes it works and sometimes it wont even turn on. The phone numbers are always busy!!! Somebody has made millions on this scam and i am pissed!!!!

Unfortunately, I'm part of the group that bought into the ceramic pro thinking it was the best thing out there since slice bread, NOT!!! It worked really good the first couple of months, but as everyone else is saying it now doesnt want to work. It has some type of short, it turns on when it wants to and if you don't hold it just right it turns off, its very very frustrating and yes it definitely burns your fingers. Just called the customer service number I had for them and it turns out to be another company. To everyone out there, DON'T BUY IT!!! As a matter of fact I just made a promise to myself not to buy anything from infomerical ever again! It is not worth it. Been there done that to many times already. Hope you guys make that promise to yourselves too. God Bless.

I bought the true ceramic pro 3 years ago and my daughter liked it but it stopped working within 4 months of purchase. My friend told me to buy the chi because it is better. My daughter came from college June 2007 and asked me if she can order a ceramic iron I told her ok. I forgot to tell her to order chi and she placed an order for ceramic pro. I received the item at the beginning of June and it worked only one day. I have placed many calls and sent many e mails and none bother to reply to my complaints. American companies are using china to rip us off and it is a shame. I stongly recommend anyone thinking about buying a ceramic pro, NOT TO BUY THIS GARBAGE. You will live to regret not listening to my advise. My daughter now has learned.

I bought the Tru Ceramic Pro flat iron 2 years ago. It really worked to straighten my hair, at first. My 4-5 time using it the red paint started to come off. I received a post card from Tru Ceramic Pro saying they knew it was a problem and I should call. I called and they apologize and said they would send me a replacement in 6-8 weeks. In the mean time all of the red pain came off and started to damage my hair and now the iron began to turn on and off at will. I called after 8 week when I did not receive the replacement. I was told it was on the way. I called by a few more times. My last call I got the recording saying the company was out of buisness. I still have the TCP with no red paint and what appears to be a short that i can't use. The sad thing is it actually worked for me, well at first.

Yeah, I bought this and it quit working - I only used it 4 times. Then i called the customer service number and she said all she could do is refer me to a website - www.tcpfulfillment.com and then it says you have to pay $30 for shipping and handling. I am just going to count my losses and say screw it and buy a CHI i haven't heard any complaints on those. I'm not paying $30 for another piece of shit that's just going to shit out on me.

I bought my true ceramic pro back in december of 2006 and about a month ago it just quit working. I am very upset about 150.00 down the drain I want my money back or a new hot iron!!!!!

One Saturday morning, i'm at home watching tv and i come across this infomercial about this "Great Iron". I have extremely thick hair and i'm always looking for something new and good that would work for my hair. So i thought let me try this product. It looks pretty good. I call the company and order ONE iron and i look forward to using it. What do i get in the mail, TWO Tru Ceramic Pro Irons when i only asked for ONE. They charged me for both irons. I get really upset call them up and they admit it was their mistake and for me to send the second one back. Then i reconsidered it and thought let me give this iron to my sister. I give it to my sister and she comes to use the piece of shit iron and it does not work. WoW what a great iron it doesn't even work at the first try. So i said thats it let me send this broken iron back and get my damn money back. My iron worked fine. Infact, i liked it. I swear i used the Tru Ceramic Iron 3-4 times and it just stopped working. I had a party to go to that night and I blow dried my hair but of course I need to iron it and i plug the cheap thing in and it does not work. I was livid. I should have know better than to order something from Tv anyways. This is a cheap material iron that they are selling for $119. Not worth it. It is horrible. I was so excited to get it and it completely changed my mind. It is a piece of shit iron and not worth a penny. I just went to the post office and returned the second iron because it just STOPPED WORKING!!!! I can't believe it. I want my money back and i better get it back. Dont purchase this iron you will regret it. I mean it.
