I have been having all the same problems as everybody else. I signed up for a "free gift" of vitamins when I purchased a proactive package. I remember reading every line of every page when I was signing up, and I do not remember it saying anywhere I was signing up for any kind of recurring program. The vitamins were supposed to come with the proactive package which they did not, they were not even sent to my school address where the proactive came they were shipped to my parents house. They were not shipped until months after I got my proactive package and I received the "free" package AND 3 month supply which I was charged about 40 bucks for. I called the company and complained and they told me I had signed up for a vitamin club or something. After reading a bunch of people having the same problems and the company refusing to cancel charges and shipments, I called my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union and I told them what was going on. I told them I tried to contact the company and that I never signed up for anything, etc. I did not feel comfortable with the vitamin company so we decided it was best to just cancel my credit card and Navy Federal shipped me a new one with new numbers. There is no way I trust a shady company like that, for all I know they might use my credit card and charge me for something else. I think that calling your bank is the best way to take care of this.

When you order Pro Active, they offer the VitaPower. However, when canceling ProActive, they don't let you know that you also have to cancel VitaPower separately. This is fraudulent on both Pro Active and Vita Power. I will never buy their products again. They have other companies that replicate their formula for a lower price.

Trying to cancel the product like everybody else. Before hanging up with the rep. I asked for a comfirmation number and they gave me my apparent order nember. At best the company is very inept.

The same story. I ordered proactive and now I have received 3 boxes of vitaclear. I never gave this company my credit card number.
When I cancelled proactive I was never told that vitaclear was a sister company of proactive and that I would also have to cancel with the vitaclear company. I cancelled today but I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.

I received a special offer for a 1 month supply of the vitamins for $4.99 with shipping and handling when I purchased the Proactive Skin Care system. Little to say, my story is the same as everyone else. I received an overdraft alert from my banking account and was informed of the charge for $33.94. I immediately called GRC and the rep told me that I had a 30 day continuity period to cancel the order. I was furious, no one ever told me about that. The rep instructed me to return the package when I receive it and I will then be credited. Needless to say, I canceled the Proactive account as well.

Same Story! I ordered proactiv and vitamins from vitapower for 5 dollars for 30 day supply. A month later ,they started autoshipping the vitamins (a Two month supply) and stole $74 out of my bank account. When I called them for a refund, they were rude and told me to call my credit card company to get a chargeback. They refused to refund me even after I mailed back the product and its too late to get the money back from my bank. So I lost $74!

I checked my checking account and have a $63.94 debit from this company. I ordered Proactiv and am very pleased with that but now I have a large amount from my account for pills that I didn't want and have not received. They said that they have been shipped out and I should receive them in 2-3 days. I told them that I don't want them, and they said send them back. I asked what if I don't get them? Am I out 63.94? They said if I don't get them to call back in 14 days and they will see what they can do. I think this is rediculous, I never ordered these pills and if I did since when are vitamins almost $70? I am very unhappy and now owe the bank for my overdraft. Now I have to wait and see what happens if and when I get these pills.

I use proactiv face wash, and three months ago was ordering some online. An add at the bottom of the screen said that I could have a free 30 day trial of multi-viatmins with my order with no obligation. I accepted the free vitamins, but declined from renewing the order in the future. For the past three months I have been charged by vitapower in the first week of the month. I called my bank today and reported the missing money, and they said that it was a suspected scam.

I ordered makeup and I have called repeatedly for these vitamins to stop and they continue to send the vitamins and charge my account.

I too have been scammed. Ditto to all of the complaints previouslu stated. once again talked with Vitapower today and I was told that I had ordered a 2 monthly supply. This is B.S. I am also done with ProActive as they are a part of thisa scam.

Wanda
I have called three times to get them to cancel with no luck. I told the young girl my son is allergic to one of the pills, she told me to have him take one at a time. I told her I want to cancel immedately and this is my 3rd call. She told me to send in my shipments and call back with my tracking number... lets see if this one will work.

i have never ordered this item.
and last month, they sent me this item to my home. so i thought it was for the previous person who lived in my house. so i just ignored it.
then i realized they somehow got my credit card info and charged me about $34. i keep trying to call them and all they say is that all of their reps are not available.

does anyone know how to cancel this?

I ordered the ProActiv stuff for my son. Vita Power Clear vitamins were thrown in on the deal. I've had nothing but trouble getting my account(s) cancelled. The vitamins made my son sick. I'm currently up to 3 calls to the two companies and they still are charging my card!! This is just ridiculous. We haven't even had time to see if any of it works, and they are charging like crazy in an attempt to send more!
I ordered Proactiv for my son and the next thing I know I'm been charged for something I didn't request and it has been charged to my account every month and I want to get the charges reversed, I am very pissed off!

I am having the same problems as whats already listed. I ordered sheer cover and now they have sent me three boxes of this vita crap one i got the first one i called and cancelled my account, but o my suprise they sent me another box, and chargered me 36.59 one i oticed this i called and was put on hold for about twenty mins. then once i did talk to a man named steve he assured me that my account would be closed and i could send the product back and recive a refund with in thirty days or so, well when i followed his instrucciones and went to the post office and asked for a conformation number it was going to be something like 11 dollars, well i too am a college student and i really dont have the extra money to pay for this crap product to be shipped back plus this money would not be reembursed and then if i everdid get a refund it would only be for about twenty dollars after u subract the money i had to pay to ship there product, which i never waned back, what a scam. OMG after this i was again charged 36.59 to my account after i ad alread cancelled twice, what the hell is wrong with this dumb ass company last i checked if ur account is closed u will not be charged for anything, o but wait it was the second part of my 60 susupply bill well guess what i never ordered those stupid pills in the first place when i ordered sheer cover and they asked me if i wanted a free trial i said no, so why did they give vita power my info, i cancelled my order with sheer cover to not only because it was a crapy product but also because they shouldnt give out my information. So after cancelling my order which was never placed three times i am still being billed after i have now sent all the boxes back. the key here was all i did was right refuse to sender but im still getting bille and when i call customer service they say the refund should post on my account with in thirty days, this product and its affiliates are a rip.

Just like everybody else, I ordered proactiv online and used my debit card to pay for it, I signed up for the free vitapower sample because i figured why not, its free. the pills do not work for me, and ive tried sending them back. I've tried calling the phone number listed on my bank statement but only got a constant busy message, I've tried calling proactiv but again, only a message saying that everybody is currently busy, and I've tried calling my bank but got nothing there either. can somebody please explain how they're getting away with this and how we can stop it?

Three months ago I made a purchase for ProActiv but along with it was an offer for daily vitamins. I agreed to it but I have yet to receive any vitamins(in Iraq)but my shipments of ProActiv have been delivered with no issues. I continue to be charged for something that I have informed the company I am not receiving with no solution or refund. I have tried to have the order cancelled by the website of Proactive's for information on how to contact VitaPower with no success, this needs to stop. How can I be charged for something that I haven't even received let alone able to try.

First off, Thanks Kristi for posting the phone number. I just checked my account today and I was also charged the nonsense 33 dollars and I am with out a doubt going to boast my concerns with Vita Clear and even proactiv for not clarifying the circumstances on their website. I may even just cancel my account with proactiv because I am really annoyed by this. Please repost with any updates. Kristi, if you read this, let me know how long it took to have them cancel the orders.

I ordered ProActive on April 20th then began reading all the problems people have had with the vitamins and ProActive. It says on the ProActive website that your card will be charged money every month. The vitamins are separate from ProActive. Call ProActive and get the number to call. Thats what i did and i called the vitamin place and talked to a rep on Tuesday April 22 and I told them to inactivate my account. Of course they told me they would take money off, and i said NO inactivate it. She immediately did so. You have to read what the WHOLE website says. If you want to cancel the vitamins call 1-888-848-2797. Don't be disgusted with ProActive, they aren't the ones sending you the vitamins, nor are they in the wrong charging you account when the website says they will charge you every month.
