I have called three times to get them to cancel with no luck. I told the young girl my son is allergic to one of the pills, she told me to have him take one at a time. I told her I want to cancel immedately and this is my 3rd call. She told me to send in my shipments and call back with my tracking number... lets see if this one will work.

i have never ordered this item.
and last month, they sent me this item to my home. so i thought it was for the previous person who lived in my house. so i just ignored it.
then i realized they somehow got my credit card info and charged me about $34. i keep trying to call them and all they say is that all of their reps are not available.
does anyone know how to cancel this?

I ordered the ProActiv stuff for my son. Vita Power Clear vitamins were thrown in on the deal. I've had nothing but trouble getting my account(s) cancelled. The vitamins made my son sick. I'm currently up to 3 calls to the two companies and they still are charging my card!! This is just ridiculous. We haven't even had time to see if any of it works, and they are charging like crazy in an attempt to send more!

I am having the same problems as whats already listed. I ordered sheer cover and now they have sent me three boxes of this vita crap one i got the first one i called and cancelled my account, but o my suprise they sent me another box, and chargered me 36.59 one i oticed this i called and was put on hold for about twenty mins. then once i did talk to a man named steve he assured me that my account would be closed and i could send the product back and recive a refund with in thirty days or so, well when i followed his instrucciones and went to the post office and asked for a conformation number it was going to be something like 11 dollars, well i too am a college student and i really dont have the extra money to pay for this crap product to be shipped back plus this money would not be reembursed and then if i everdid get a refund it would only be for about twenty dollars after u subract the money i had to pay to ship there product, which i never waned back, what a scam. OMG after this i was again charged 36.59 to my account after i ad alread cancelled twice, what the hell is wrong with this dumb ass company last i checked if ur account is closed u will not be charged for anything, o but wait it was the second part of my 60 susupply bill well guess what i never ordered those stupid pills in the first place when i ordered sheer cover and they asked me if i wanted a free trial i said no, so why did they give vita power my info, i cancelled my order with sheer cover to not only because it was a crapy product but also because they shouldnt give out my information. So after cancelling my order which was never placed three times i am still being billed after i have now sent all the boxes back. the key here was all i did was right refuse to sender but im still getting bille and when i call customer service they say the refund should post on my account with in thirty days, this product and its affiliates are a rip.

Just like everybody else, I ordered proactiv online and used my debit card to pay for it, I signed up for the free vitapower sample because i figured why not, its free. the pills do not work for me, and ive tried sending them back. I've tried calling the phone number listed on my bank statement but only got a constant busy message, I've tried calling proactiv but again, only a message saying that everybody is currently busy, and I've tried calling my bank but got nothing there either. can somebody please explain how they're getting away with this and how we can stop it?

Three months ago I made a purchase for ProActiv but along with it was an offer for daily vitamins. I agreed to it but I have yet to receive any vitamins(in Iraq)but my shipments of ProActiv have been delivered with no issues. I continue to be charged for something that I have informed the company I am not receiving with no solution or refund. I have tried to have the order cancelled by the website of Proactive's for information on how to contact VitaPower with no success, this needs to stop. How can I be charged for something that I haven't even received let alone able to try.

First off, Thanks Kristi for posting the phone number. I just checked my account today and I was also charged the nonsense 33 dollars and I am with out a doubt going to boast my concerns with Vita Clear and even proactiv for not clarifying the circumstances on their website. I may even just cancel my account with proactiv because I am really annoyed by this. Please repost with any updates. Kristi, if you read this, let me know how long it took to have them cancel the orders.

I ordered ProActive on April 20th then began reading all the problems people have had with the vitamins and ProActive. It says on the ProActive website that your card will be charged money every month. The vitamins are separate from ProActive. Call ProActive and get the number to call. Thats what i did and i called the vitamin place and talked to a rep on Tuesday April 22 and I told them to inactivate my account. Of course they told me they would take money off, and i said NO inactivate it. She immediately did so. You have to read what the WHOLE website says. If you want to cancel the vitamins call 1-888-848-2797. Don't be disgusted with ProActive, they aren't the ones sending you the vitamins, nor are they in the wrong charging you account when the website says they will charge you every month.

I to signed up for proactive and ended up reacieving a 60 day supply of vitamins that cost me $73.14! That is crazy, not only that but when I called to complain about this they told me I could ship it back and they would refund me minus the shipping and handdling cost! I said wait a minute not only did I pay for them to be shipped here, but I have to pay for them to get back, then you are gonna deduct another shipping fee! That is just plain stupid! Finally got the guy to agree that he would refund me the full amount of $73.14, I guess I will have to wait and see if he was honest!! Ugh I hate this company!!

I just called to see what would happen
The lady kept asking me if i was sure that I wanted to cancel a product that i specifically told her a minute before I only was supposed to receive as a free bonus w/ my Proactive which for some reason was never processed & only got the vitamins instead.
Finally I just said give me my confirmation # cancelling this order so we both can be on our way & move on. she gave me an order # so just in case I'm responding on here because I was still gypped 33.94

I had never heard of this company (or proactiv for that matter) and now I have charges for both on my credit card. How, I do not know, I do not give out my credit card number or anything else, nor have I recieved any poduct, even if I don;t want it.

I also received a free box with Pro active products. I tried it once and it made me jittery like I was on drugs or something. It also up set my stomach. I forgot to cancel or may was not informed to cancel shipment. I called pro active and they told me it is a separate company and gave me the contact information. Now that i read all these complaints I now understand her tone of voice. Vita Clear told me to label refuse shipment and return it. She cancelled my whole account and seemed very assuring. I paid almost $4.00 to return it with a confirmation. It was received by their office April 1, 2008. No refund yet and no reoccuring shipment. We will see if she was sincer about this matter

Yes, the same story. They will not stop the billing and they continue to charge the account after the cancel my so called membership. They also tried to ask you to send the product back to a wrong address and ask me to go to all kind of troble to get refund. This is a worse online sale ever..I dispute with my credit card company.

I sent back the pills because I did not order them in the first place, they where a free gift from Proactive and I still have not recieved my refund after 2 months!

I ordered ProActiv and was offered these vitamins at no charge, just $3.99 for shipping and handling. I was never told that they would auto ship and auto bill my credit card $34 every month! They put me on this auto-ship/auto-bill plan without my knowledge. We can't even use these vitamins because my daughter is 12, and it doesn't say that it is safe for someone that age. So stay away from this company! I now have to ship the vitamins back to them, so I will lose the $3.99, plus the additional $3.99, plus the cost of shipping back to them. Hopefully I will get the cost of the vitamins back as a refund, but I won't hold my breathe. This is a horrible way to do business-- sneaky and wrong.
Vita Clear is not a good business to do business with and neither is Gunthy Renker (the ones that offered this to me when I purchased Proactiv.) Also, Proactiv works on an auto-ship/auto bill system. I want to control when I buy and when I am billed-- companies like this are just sneaky and it is just bad business!

Mt girlfriend had tried the vitapower trial offer and i was skeptical about it... we decided to look up information on vitapower and found more then enough to take action immediately.. they have only charged me for the trial offer so far...but what i dont understand is why proactive has done nothing to resolve these issues that everyone is having... i'm sure that proactiv has also been getting plenty of customer complaints about vitapower... why dont they just take it off their website... i'm beginning to think that proactive is in on the scam as well... i have read complaints dating back to fall 2007 and the complaints havent stopped since then....

I ordered the half priced trial of proactiv, accompanied by a $3.99, trial of VitaClear/Vitapower vitamins. The proactiv was set up to automatically re-order every 4 weeks. The Vitaclear would not, unless I called and asked them to renew my order.
One day, my online bank statement(For my Visa check card), showed a Vitapower charge of about 33 bucks. I searched and searched for their number and after a week, I finally found it. Then when I called, I couldn't get through because of "high volume of calls". HA!!!
I finally got through and boy did it take some teeth pulling to get rid of my monthly vitaclear subscription that costs a total of $75 dollars or so every other month! Vitapower is a scam that I will never fall for again!
