I tried the vitamins but had some disagreeable symptom. I think they sat in my stomach like rocks. I agreed to try a trial offer for $5.40. Then they automatically billed me for $39.54 the following month, without my permission. Originally I had ordered off a Cindy Crawford infomercial for a "Meaningful Beauty" skin care line. I did cancel that "membership" but was not informed that the "vitapower" was a SEPARATE "membership" that I had to cancel. The second box of vitamins just got here today (9/28/07). I called 1-888-684-9660 and spoke with Daniel, operator ID 3456, who said he cancelled my membership account. I did not even know that they billed me 39.54 on 9/20/07 because my bank statement cuts off on 9/18/07. I am returning the box at the post office and Daniel said that if they receive it before 10/22/07 the second half of the charge for this box, of 33.94, WONT be deducted from my account. Additionally, they will refund the 39.54 that I did not authorize. Thanks to this website, and all your posts, I had a number to call. Thankfully, a human did answer. If sending the box back and getting a TRACKING number does not work, I will post again. Daniel said to get a tracking number and to call periodically. What a scam and a chore!!

Same problem as everyone else ordered the mineral makeup got the vitamins for .99 tried them broke out b/c of them with welts on my face, cancelled them, continued to get charged then cancelled again with them claiming that I didn't call the correct number the first time now I have to go to my bank and fill out a dispute form with them to get them to at least stop charging me for the time being lets see if this works

Same thing, different victim. After receiving the first two shipments, I requested they NOT send them every month (I was getting two boxes). I received the third shipment (now I've received 6 boxes in three months) then the shipments stopped however the billing has continued. I had read several postings regarding the quality of the product however because of this experience, I want nothing to do with the product or the company. The following information was provided by the BBB of Wilmington DE.[]

I was sent 2 bottles of vitamins from Vitapower for .99 cents each. with a Proactiv order. I called the company and canceled my order, the next month I was sent 2 more bottles of pills, I called the company they told me to overnite the pills back, I told them I was not spending $20.00 on their mistake. I sent the pills back so I got a card with a signature that they got them back. But still have not refunded my money.

they refuse to cancel the order .repeated contact attempts have been useless after contacting the credit card company they are still charging for this junk.repeated cotact attempts have been ignored.

I saw the Sheer Cover Mineral make up infomercial in May 2007. I ordered the make up and was also told about a 60 day trial offer of Endless Youth Vitapower vitamins that was available to me at a cost of $.99 cents for the first 30 day supply, and that the charge for the initial vitamin shipment would be included on the bill for the make up. I was also advised that if I liked the vitamins, each subsequent 30 day supply would be $9.99 per month, since I had ordered the make up. I was told that both products had a 60 day money back guarantee - the guarantee was offered by Guthy Renker on both the make up and vitamins. On May 7, 2007 I was charged $9.99 for vitamins and on May 9, 2007 I was charged $108.85 for the Sheer Cover Make Up. It took about a month to receive each product. within 4 days of taking the vitamins, I became violently ill. On June 6th, 2007 I called the number on my credit card invoice, since there was no packing slip or invoice with the vitamin shipment. The woman I spoke with at their customer service center was extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept telling me to give the vitamins a try, and that my body would adjust to the suppliments. I advised her that I could not continue with the vitamins as they made me too sick to eat, I told her to cancel the account and asked to have the address where I could return the unused portion of vitamins for my refund. She refused to give me an address and hung up on me. I called back and was given the same treatment by the next person I spoke with. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that there are no supervisors in the office until after 9:00 a.m. eastern time. I guess they don't know that if it is already 10:00 a.m. in Arizona, it is already 1:00 p.m. in Delaware. Needless to say my call requesting cancellation went undocumented by either of the women I spoke with that day. Per my credit card statement, they shipped another 2 month supply of vitamins on June 6, 2007. Funny, I thought cancel my account meant Cancel it period. Within 2 weeks I had received the second shipment. I once again called the phone number on my statement 1-888-848-2797 and yet again spoke to another rude person. I was told by this rude young man that there were no calls documented on my account. I told him that there was some kind of mistake, because I had the date and time that I called. I asked again to speak to a supervisor, and was told the same thing.... there is not a supervisor available. Exactly 2 weeks later, I received yet another 60 day supply of vitamins left at my doorstep. by this time, I am livid. Another unauthorized shipment and charge on my credit card. I called customer service again, and spoke with a young man by the name of Tim. I explained that I had cancelled the subscription in June, yet I continued to receive the unauthorized shipments of vitamins, and was being charged $63.89 per month on my credit card. He advised me that there was never any calls made to their office prior to that moment and the reason why I kept receiving m shipments was because I was on the "Friends and Family Plan". I had to laugh at this point, otherwise I would have broken down and cried. I told him, "You gotta be kidding me!" I never authorized any future shipments nor did I sign up for ANY friends and family plan. I told him to get a supervisor because I had had enough. Funny thing was that this guy had the balls to put me on hold, then come back on the line and spoke to me with the same voice through his gritted teeth. He claimed to be a Supervisor named Mr. Salazar. I once again explained the situation, and told the man that I was recording this call. He immediately reverted back to his "Tim" voice and had the gall to try to tell me that it was against the law to record a conversation without the other persons knowledge. Gee, didn't I just do that?? I was told that my account would be immediately cancelled by "Mr. Salazar". I asked for an address to send the vitamins back, and for a return postage label. He laughed and said they will not foot the bill for my returning the product, and said that I would have to eat the cost of shipping. I asked how long it would take them to credit back the charges to my credit card. He said I would never get one, that is unless they received their product back. He finally gave me the address to return the vitamins - here it is: GRN-Vitapower Customer Service 600 Centerpoint Blvd. New Castle, DE 19720 DO NOT JUST MARK THEM RETURN TO SENDER!!!!!!! Make sure that you get a U.S. Postal Service Delivery Confirmation REceipt for each box of vitamins you send back. It only costs you $.75 cents for the confirmation that the product was received by customer service - which you can also track online. This is YOUR proof that they have received their product back. Immediatly call your financial institution or credit card company and CANCEL all future charges by this company. You will also need to watch your monthly credit card statements or bank statements for any future charges. I disputed every charge with my credit card company. Save the delivery confirmation receipts! You will need the delivery confirmation receipts as proof so your credit card company or bank is able to make this unprofessional company give you the credit back to your account. Lesson learned at the tune of over $500.00. Beware and never believe anything you see in those high priced infomercials. Words from the not so wise: If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Never buy anything that is offered by Guthy Renker, or endorsed by a beautiful celebrity. I hope that this information helps someone else out there. Good Luck!! Kitty

I too was scammed by Vitapower. I ordered Sheer Cover and was also sent Vitapower. Tried to cancel them and found that Vitapower is impossible to get a hold of. My account has been charged over $200 and the vitamins are piling up in a closet. I never even tried them. I thought I would try to get a hold of these scammers so I googled them and found this site. I should have known better than to try a product endorsed by Leeza! This is ridiculous! I have disputed the charges with my bank and have gotten nowhere fast. I figured it was a scam and I was right. Does anyone know how I can fix this mess?

I got the item with my Tru Genix Hoodia and it did not work. I have two unopened boxes that I have been charged for and I will not take. It made me hungry all the time and I did not like it. I have tried other products and they have worked. This does not. I was going to contact the company and send them back but I guess not because you can not find a number to call them. They I found this website and I relized now that I am not the only one that has been scammed. This is bad and if anyone want to start something against the company I think that we should. Can't we turn them into the better business burea? Let me know. I am going to try it.

I also accepted the .99 cent trail offer of vitamins from my order of proactive. Immediately after recieveing and trying it out for a few days I didn't like it so I called to cancel the orders from shipping at a later date, Lo and behold 3 months later and I have 3 boxes of these vitamins. When I called I was told they have a 60 days money back guarantee. That means I can send back 2 boxes right? NOPE can only send back one box. Even though I requested this to end they have been charging my account every month and refuse to take their products back and refund my money. I'm only 23 I don't have unlimited funds and was informed that the policy does not allow for ANY accommodations. What is with that? Anyway, in this case I guess the customer is has no rights.

I can't believe what I am seeing and what is written about this company. I too received this with Sheer Mineral Makeup with a low price and I cancelled the order as I didn't even try it as it looked too suspicious. I received another package of pills and was charged $34.00 and I told the lady named "Ruby" to cancel my order. She said I would have to send them back before July 28th or they would charge another $34.00. I can't believe that [] didn't check into this, I am going to write them a letter also for not letting me know that this was a scam. If anyone wants to file a complaint with this company (Vitapower) I am with you all the way. I never had this kind of problem ever happen to me. Thank you everyone who wrote in about this scam I am mortified about this. Carol

I ordered Endless Youth items from an infomercial and received the Vitapower vitamins as well. They didn't do anything for me. Anyway, I called to cancel, contacted my bank to cancel the automatic debit of my account and still, they have continued to get money from my account and send unwanted shipments. I have returned at least one shipment but for over a yearthey have been ripping me off. I called again today and the representative assured me I hadn't canceled before but it will be canceled. I don't trust them or believe them!!!! My bank recommended that I send a registered letter to cancel and said if I bring a copy of the letter to the bank they will refund 3 months of payments and block all future debits from vitapower. I intend to do this right away and suggest that anyone else who is having problems with this company talk to a representative at their bank or credit card company to see if they will help. I have lost a lot more than 3 months of debits, but hopefully I can end my losses now. i would be willing to participate in a class action lawsuit with the hope of saving others from falling victim to this scam and driving a totally unethical company out of business. If this isn't a crime, it should be.

I ordered Sheer cover on June 16, 2007 by phone. I did accept the vitamin offer for one additional dollar although I forgot about that. the Sheer cover package arrived onJune 27 with an enclosure stating that some of the products were unavailable and would be sent in the next shipment. I was offered this on money back guarantee of satisfaction if I returned even the empty containers therefore I had no assurance of wanting an additional shipment. Today on June 29 another package was left on my porch by US Mail. It said vitapower so, without opening it, I did a search for that name and found all these complaints of scam. Now I am not at all sure I want to do any business with the sheer cover people at all if they are so mixed up with a clearly bad element.Judging by the dates of some of these complaints, they should know by now what people think of such a thing and get out of that agreement. I intend to exercise all in my power to head off the worst and it may require that I cancel my credit card, although if you make your complaint properly, most credit cards will protect you. I think not many people know about that protection avilable to them. Please add my voice to the complainants and I would be much more upset and angry if I had not found the websites attesting to these complaints and abuses. It is an unconscionable crime of heft to attempt business in this obviously abusive way and the people should be arrested and prosecuted and punished severely for it.

I responded to a Sheer Cover infomercial and was offered vitamins. I recall being told that I would need to cancel the order to avoid ongoing shipments and took down the phone number to do so. After receipt of the products, I called to cancel. A couple of weeks later I received another shipment of vitamins and my credit card was charged $34. I refused delivery, returned the shipment, and called my credit card company to dispute the charge. Since the charge was under $35, my credit card company credited my account no questions asked because it would cost more to dispute the charge. This is probably why VitaPower charges just under that amount. I asked my credit card company if this meant they were eating the charge and was told that if VitaPower did not issue a credit upon receipt of the merchandise, yes they were eating it. In the long run it's the consumer who ends up eating the cost of these scams. That made me mad, so I called VitaPower. I had to get their number from my credit card company because it was not to be found. If I opened the box, I could not have returned it. When I called VitaPower, I was told they probably wouldn't receive the merchandise for 6-8 weeks. I told the rep that I didn't believe that for one minute. She said that if it wasn't received in 3 weeks, the cycle would continue. I read the postings in defense of VitaPower. It is logical to assume that when you call a company to order something, even if they attach other offers, they are responsible for the actual sale. In this case, it was Sheer Cover that ran the infomercial. However, Sheer Cover and VitaPower are both Gunthey Renker companies. Sheer Cover was advertised to cover up some pretty bad facial scars. Come on now!!! This is truly taking advantage of people with unfortunate circumstances. That means "bilking" which is fraud in my book. The employees of VitaPower and/or Sheer Cover who defended the company need to look at their own true motivations for working at a company that does this. There are better ways to earn a living! The employees are falling for a load of bull when they fall back on company policy/procedure. When did they lose their own sense of right and wrong? By the time the rep on the phone has finished adding this, that, and more to an order, how could any rational person keep up with it?

I ordered Sheer Coverage Makeup and they offered the vitamins for 1.00 to try. It took two weeks to receive the vitamins to try for 30 days. No Invoice came with the shippment. Two weeks later May 14, 2007 I was charged $39.35. I called and asked what the charge was for and they said they had sent out more vitamins. I told them I just got the first shippment two weeks ago. I told them to cancel my account and further shippments and they said they would. On June 14,2007 there is a withdrawal on my bank statement for $33.94 They are taking out money from my account without my permission. I will have to cancel my card so no more charges will be taken from my account.

In May I stupidly, not following my own rules decided to give your company a try. I placed my order over the phone, and with the special on the Sheer Cover make-up, while I was on the phone the sales person, asked my if I would like to try a one month trial of Vitamins for a one time fee of $9.99 I said fine. This was through you Vitalpower program. After we placed my order she told me I would have debited out of my checking acount on three different payments of the 1st one being 54.70, 2nd one 36.35, and finally 36.35. I was fine with this. After I had not recieved my make up in a timely manner because she had told me I would recieve it in 5 to 7 business days, I contacted Sheer Cover complaining about a payment of 54.00 being taken from my checking account and I had not recieved my product. At this time I canceld my account but am still paying for the make up that I finnally recieved. I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is the fact that I was not told that I would have a second payment coming out of my checking account for the VItamins. I was told everything was covered under the 128.00 payment. I am returning what ever vitamins that I am getting now unopened, to you company as soon as they are left on my door step, and I would greatly appreciate my account canceled. My accout number is [], my name is Joyce . Also when I tried to call about this today, as I told the people I was talking to, I was never told that there would be a debit of 63.00 + taken out of my chekcing account monthly, I recieved no instruction inside of the box with the first batch of Vitiamns, if I had I would have cancelled them. THey kept telling me there was a pamplet in my box, I know what was in my box and there was no pamplet explaining to me on how to take the vitiamns, or how to contact you. I knew nothing of a number to call to cancel any further shipment of the pills, as far as I knew from what I was told on the phone I had the only shipment that was going to be sent. I finally recieved a number on how to contact them from the people at Sheer Cover when I called them to complain about $165.00 + being taken out of my checking account. I have to say they were helpfull at Sheer Cover. But the peolp at VitalPower were rude, they kept interupting me when I was trying to talk as if it was my fault. I didn't pack the box, I didn't leave out the pamplet. ALL I EVER WANTED WAS SOMEONE TO AT LEAST SAY THEY WERE SORRY FOR THIS HAPPENING. Not a one ever told me this even when I asked them straight out for an apology for the inconvience, I am sorry this happened nothing. The only thing I recieved was a there is going to be another withdrawal from your checking account on July 14, if this is not returned. To me this is not good business, A copy of this letter is also going to be sent out with a complaint to the better business beaura. I hope you do not treat all of your customers this way. Because if you do God help you. I am ashamed that I broke my own rule to never fall into something of this nature by ordering someting off ot the internet or TV. I am upset that I have a bounched check for my light bill because of all of this. And I am ashamed that I ever brought anything from your company. I will not ever recommened you to anyone, no matter how I might like your make up. If I here of anyone talking about you company I will tell them to stay away from you because you have hidden charges that you don't let anyone know about them, and you have rude sales reps. who hid the truth from you. Joyce

I purchased youthful essence (the Lucci product) and signed up to get one set of the vitamins for $1. Then called to cancel my entire membership requesting that no future items be shipped and that all billing cease. A month later I received 2 more sets of vitamins and $63.89 was drafted from my bank account. I called the company and learned that the first customer service representative had not informed me that even though I'd purchased the Lucci product and the vitamins together, I actually needed to call a different number to cancel the vitamins separtately. So, I called the vitamin phone number, cancelled again and was instructed that I would be reimbursed by simply sending the vitamins back -- but I still received another 2 sets of vitamin packs and was charged $63.89 yet again. I called another time today and spoke with a representative named Jennifer and a supervisor going by the name Ms. Medina. I was instructed that I would not be receiving any refund but that the vitamins would stop coming now and I will not be billed again... and that there is nothing I can do to get my money back for the times I was charged after I'd already requested from the Main Phone number and the Vitamin phone number that my membership be cancelled and no more items shipped to me (now more than 3 mos ago). Can someone do something about this?
