I signed up for the facial make up. I didn't like it. I paid for it with a credit card. I thought I was buying a one time product. The next month I was billed for another order of the stuff.I called and told them to cancel all shipments of any of their products to me and to not charge my credit card with anything else. The make up stopped coming but then the vitiams started coming. I have tried to stop them but they keep charging it to my card. I am going to cancel the card. Don't try any of their products they are a big rip off.

I made the same mistake in think we all did. I tried the Vita clear vitamins. I noticed today a charge from them as pending in my account. I called and asked them to cancel it and to make sure that the charge did not go through. They said they would so we will see. I may have stopped it in time. My big grip is that at least with Proactive you know you are signing up for a club this is so shaddy that they make you think you are just rying it and nowhere does it ever say you are agreeing to sign up for a separate club. I do want to say thanks to everyone who has included the customer service number in their posts. It may have save me a lot of anguish. I will posted it again for anyone who may need it. 1-888-848-2797. Good luck to everyone with this scam.

After using Pro-Activ in the past - I finally gave in and decided 60 dollars every two months was worth having better skin. I ordered the club - read and understood that I would be getting cycle billing, all of that is understandable. However, when I noticed that I had a seperate confirmation for the 3.99 shipping for Vitapower - I was a little confused/concerned. I instantly googled the product and found thousands on complaints. Because I had linked the billing to my Debit account, this was NOT something I can deal with for months on end. My suggestion, do what I did. Cancel your card. I did call the customer service number, they did a "pre-cancel request" as I only ordered this morning, however, I decided to NOT take any chances, going to the bank for cash is far less painful than unwanted charges. My bank has also heard a lot about this company and complaints, the rep definitely suggested canceling and waiting for a new card. Heed my advice. Hopefully you are only out a sum of 30+ dollars - If you can avoid it. I am out a short drive to the Bank, to get a temp ATM card, - And a few monthly clubs to update :)

VitaPower decided on their own accord to send me a shipment of vitamins that I never ordered. Cost: $196.00 Consequences: I have had to close my checking account so that I don't get charged again. Then I had to transfer all my automatic payment withdrawals to my savings. Which has been a nightmare. Priceless. I feel like my identity has been stolen, and when I try to explain to someone what happened, I sound like a crazy person.

I just wanted to add to my previous comments that there was no information provided with either of the shipments I received from VitaClear. The comments in the defense section of this web site are quite biased. This company should be sued.

I placed an order with ProActive and was asked if I'd like to try some new vitamins for only the cost of shipping. ($2.00) I thought they were trying to promote a new proactive product. This was completely wrong. I received the ProActive and a couple of weeks later the vitamins showed up. I got worried when 2 more weeks passed by and a much larger box of the vitamins arrived. I went on line to contact the company and the first web sites that came up were packed with complaints about this product. People claimed it was automatically billed to their credit cards without their permission, and though they had repeatedly contacted the company and cancelled the mailings the charges continued. I checked my credit card bill and sure enough there was a $33.00 fee for 1/2 the cost of the box they sent me. (Evidently they bill you the other half a month later hoping $33 won't catch your eye as much as $66 would.) I called them right away to inform them I would be returning their product and could they please cancel the account I did not create with them. The lady was very pushy about it and I had to state several times over that I wanted the product cancelled. I then proceeded to contact my credit card company and have them suspend the payment. Now I will be sending back this trojan horse (at my own expense of course.) I also cancelled my account with ProActive to send the message to them that this kind of scamming is unacceptable and they should disassociate themselves with VitaClear. They cancelled my account without question when I mentioned my reasons. Guess they have a lot of angry customers right now.

I have tried to get them to stop sending the product for three months, called the phone numbers and get recording, leave message to cancel -- no responce still sending product. I am now going to refuse mail delivery and cancel credit card charges. Don't know what else to do. []

I ordered ProActiv for my son, and also with it ordered the vitamins. I did NOT sign up for the club for either one, yet have been sent new shipments regularly. I was able to cancel the ProActiv, but the frustrating thing about the vitamins is that there is no packing slip or other info in the box with contact information, account number, etc. I find it misleading that ProActiv does not tell the person ordering that the vitamins are shipped and charged separately and that they are handled as a separate account. I had expected them to stop coming when I canceled the ProActiv. Since they didn't, I finally, on the latest shipment, just marked the box as "Shipment Refused -- Please Return" and put it back in the mail. I was glad to find your site today. I saw that several complaints had the phone number. I called, didn't have to wait too long and just canceled future shipments (at least I hope so!) by speaking with the customer service rep. She also said I would be credited when they receive the refused shipment back. We'll see. . .

Well, I ordered proactive and decided to try the free 30-day trial of vitaclear vitamins to go along with proactive. It arrived and I started taking them. everything was good until I started getting stomach cramps almost everyday. One day it got so bad that I was doubled over with pain for almost 4 hours about 1/2 hour ater taking the pills WITH a meal as perscribed. After that I stopped taking the crap. Today, I called and cancelled my supscription and was told to return the unopened package to Arden, N.C. The lady said I should get a refund within a month and shouldn't be charged anymore or receive anymore packages. Here's another thing, I recieved a 60-day package about 2 weeks after my 30-day package arrived. Aren't they supposed to wait at least a month, not two weeks to charge and ship? Anyways, we'll see what happens with my return and credit of the money. DONT BUY THIS CRAP, there is definely something other than vitamins in the pills!!! Anyways, why are there 4 pills for the same amount of vitamins and minerals I've seen in just one pill?

I was given this product for free as a part of my proactive order. I didn't think much of it, opened the box and looked at the vitamins, but I work with a nutritionist who told me that the pills are not good at all and advised me not to take them, so I threw them out. A month later I was checking my statements and found a charge for $33.94 from GRC VitaPower. I was furious. I called and spoke to a woman who seemed very understanding and told me to simply return the box and I would get a refund for the $33.94. I returned the box the NEXT day. I never received my refund or anything saying they received the return. But I wasn't so worried about that. I just didn't want them in my hair anymore so I canceled the account and she told me they would not send anymore vitamins to me OR charge me. A month later (basically this morning) I went on my bank account and saw yet another charge for $33.94. I was livid. I called the company cursing and screaming. I know that isn't the way to get things done but neither is STEALING money from people. Basically once I calmed down the woman explained to me that my account was canceled, and that it showed no further payments or shipments. She then asked me if I had another account with them which I definately do NOT have. So the question is, either they created a second account for me just to continue charging me, or they are just charging my card to take my money but not even sending me the product. What I love the most about this is that they seem to be so hard up for money that they actually stoop so low as to steal like this from people. So at the moment I have faxed a letter and copy of the transaction from my bank to the Supervisor. If I don't hear anything back then the next step I am taking is to change my card number so they can no longer charge me. Has anyone else tried that? Please contact me: []

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PROACTIVE!!!!! I ordered some sample products from ProActive and was offered some free vitamins as a trial through GRC Vitapower. I said yes to the free trial and received my free vitamins, which I really didn't use (5 pills a day). When you sign up for Proactive, they keep sending you products every month and automatically bill your credit card. I knew this. What I didn't know was that ProActive was going to give my credit card number to GRC Vitapower and that they would be charging my account for vitamins that I didn't order. I received a second shipment of vitamins in the mail. There was no invoice included. I received my credit card statement the same day and found that I was billed for $33.94 without my authorization. I contacted Proactive and cancelled my membership because they gave out my information without my permission. They said that the GRC Vitapower was a totally separate company and I would have to contact them myself to cancel the vitamins that I didn't even order . I was given a number to GRC Vitapower that only played music, no options or anything. Then I called my credit card company and they contacted Vitapower while I was still on the line to tell them my complaint and to stop charging my credit card without authorization. They said that they would stop sending vitamins and credit my card if I sent the vitamins back at my expense. I really didn't think this was right, but I will do it to end this. If they do not credit my account within 30 days, I am to contact my credit card company and they will help me to contact GRC Vitapower again. LESSON LEARNED! NOTHING IS EVER FREE! WHAT A SCAM! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PROACTIVE OR GRC VITAPOWER.

I was updating my checking account and found there name on my account and was charged $4.99. So I call them and found out when I got scamed on the Sheer Cover make up and they snucked there sell product in at the end of the ordering, not telling me it wasn't part sheer cover. So I called and canceled it right away. If it shows up again, I am going to be pissed!

Guthy-Renker Nutrition Vita Power Pro Vitamins SCAM!!! SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!!! I am currently battling Guthy-Renker Nutrition for relentless shipments of their Vita Power Pro Vitamins. It all started in July 2007 when I ordered a $2.99 30-day trial of their vitamins with an order of Proactiv. BIG MISTAKE! At the end of the 30 day trial, I began to receive unwanted shipments every other month of a 60-day supply of vitamins I didn't even order. For this they still charge my credit card every month for $33.94...and it is now March 2008. First, I tried to cancel via email through Gunthy-Renker Proactiv...the same company/division from whom I had ordered them. But wait, ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE. You cannot do this. To cancel, allegedly all you need to do is contact Gunthy-Renker Nutrition at 888-848-2797. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I have called twice, emailed four times (2 emails have been returned for failed delivery--hmmm?), been called a liar, told that they have never received any of my returned shipments, told they have no record of my contact with them, then told that-wait-I called them to cancel on 2/28/08 (I didn't), then told that perhaps I emailed them on that date (I didn't), told that they (?) took over this company (?) 3 weeks ago and that unfortunately the last company (?) did not handle returns very well.... All this to be told that I WILL NOT RECEIVE the $169.70 owed me for my returned shipments because I failed to get a "proof of mailing certificate" from the post office each time I refused them...because they have no record of my correspondence with them...because I do not know the name of the person with whom I spoke in January. What power do we have against big business stealing our hard-earned $$$??? I'm furious.

I tried the Vitaclear product with the Proactiv Solution offer I ordered online. I was offered a 30 day supply (a 29.95 value) for just the cost of shipping. It did explain that this would be set up for an automatic shipment and billing. I received the next shipment (a 60 day supply) and my CC was billed $33.94. I emailed Proactiv to ask how to cancel the vitamins - they provided me with this number 1-888-848-2797. I called to cancel with no problems. This is not a SCAM - consumers need to read and listen to offers in full - take responsibility for your decisions people. If you sign up for something the company does not know you want to cancel it until you contact them.

Same story .... keep getting charged even when I cancel. Very frustrating. I don't want the product. Never signed up for monthly shipments.

These pills taste funny and nowhere in the lierature does it tell you which pill is which so you have no idea what you're taking. I cancelled my membership and even received an e-mail confirmation, but they continue to charge me $63 and keep sending this crap to me. I talked to a representative who assured me that I would stop receiving them but I have not. I am sick of having to pay the postage to return them and have yet to see a refund of any type.

I saw a debit to my checking account for 4.99 to VitaPower. I realized that after I ordered a Erica facial product that I had been lied to by the rep taking my call. No one said that my account would be debited or I was going to receive more vitamins. I am going to close my account and get a new card. Then I will try to deal with VitaPower. It does not sound good. I am so sorry I even thought about buying the facial products.

I ordered Proactive face solution and I was never offered this vitamin. I called to canceled my Proactive account and they gave my info to Vita Power who then started to send this product to me and charged my account ( without my permission). I called Vita Power and asked that they STOP charging me for this product since I did not order it and they assured me they would refund my money......they didn't! I just got off the phone with them and they stated they will refund me the money today . We shall see.

I received vita slear as a special offer. I took the supplements for about3 weeks suffering horrible stomach crmping. Once I stopped taking them my stomach no longer hurt. I was really concerned about my health before I realized it was the vita clear causing my abdonminal pain. What is in these pills? If they offer you a free supply you are unknowingly signing up for automatic shipment and charges of vitacear through proactiv. Do Not Agree to a trial or sample use of vita clear or you are going to be charged each month for this garbage.
