I ordered this product via the website only to submit my order and get no receipt or order number! I immediately called the customer service number on the website and was told to wait 48 to 72 hours for my order to enter their system. The customer service rep also said that, at that time, I could cancel or alter my order in any way. But, my order first had to be in their system. I called back the next day...got the same words from another rep. I continued to call every business day for over a week and finally the order was in their system and my credit card had been charged. I told the rep that I had asked, from the beginning phone call, to cancel my order because their website would not give me a receipt and I didn't trust them! He said he could NOT cancel my order and that he did not have the authority to cancel it. He did, however, offer to credit my account for the shipping and handling charges! I then asked that if you can credit the S&H, why can't you cancel my order. Again, he said he did not have the authority to do so. I asked for a supervisor and finally got one...who also spoke very poor english. He also refused to cancel my order. After this frustrating conversation for the 8th time, I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. Right after this, a rep from Walk Fit called me and said they had no authority to cancel orders, so he told me to simply refuse the package and when they receive it back, my account would be credited the FULL amount including S&H. I told him I didn't believe him and I felt they were being dishonest and giving me the runaround. I told my credit card company what they told me. They suggested paying the postage to return the order with a tracking number to confirm delivery, but that I would not be reimbursed for this amount. PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THE WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE. I also was charged for items I did not order!! When I finally did get a rep to tell me how much I was being charged, they, again, refused to correct my order or to cancel it. But they were quick to offer free shipping and handling!! What a crock!!! I may cancel my credit card and get a new number after reading all the other complaints. I wish I would have seen this site before I even dealth with this terrible company. I have certainly learned a valuable lesson here. Since reading the reviews on the product that people have received and used, I REALLY know I don't want this product!!! One last note...I was given three different 800 numbers by their reps each time I called. None of the people answering these numbers spoke clear English and all but one said they were in Hollywood or Terrace, California. One rep said she was in Florida.

Thanks for all the complaints. You can buy these retail now at a chain bath and home supply store, but I wanted to check them out before purchasing. Due to the huge number of complaints I decided not to add to this company's profits! But curiosity got me, so I went to their web site and read the Terms and Conditions of purchase. When you buy the orthotics you agree that any disputes are to be resolved via arbitration. Below is the procedure, including a telephone number for their legal offices. I called the number, just for kicks, and it was no longer in service (big surprise). Good luck to everyone, sorry you got taken for a ride.<br />
3. ARBITRATION PROCEDURES.<br />
a. Before commencing any arbitration proceedings under this Agreement, you must first present the claim or dispute to Company by calling 818-217-2500 and asking for the Legal Department and allowing Company the opportunity to resolve the claim or dispute. If your claim or dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days, you may commence arbitration proceedings in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. <br />

I have experienced all the same things that everyone is telling. What I have done is called the Better Buissness Bureual and told them my story. They in return sent the complaint forward and they said that I should here from them in 15 days. I recieved a refund from walkfit and they sent me a letter stating that my acount was canceled. What I also did was went to my bank and they also reversed the transaction that walkfit charged me too. I had to cancel my credit/ debit card so Walkfit couldn't charge me any more but it is well worth it due to me not have to deal with those ignorant jerks over there. Just to give you a heads up you can also call the Office of the Attorny General of Californa and make a complaint with them also. I know there is some stories on here that says they cant do anything but the trick is to get all the complaints to them as possible so they close them down. Not just one complaint will do it so lets all work together and make it happen. There is over 660 complaints to the BBB so lets just not just get our refund lets take them down. We dont need people like them selling to the USA. Good luck

My initial order was missing several items, and I was charged "express delivery", which I DID NOT request. Phone calls to Walk Fit do no good. E-mails do no good. These people are ripping off people. DO NOT buy Walk Fit products.<br />
I think Walk Fit applies to these rip off artists "walking fit" to the bank with all the money they rip off from people.

I am writing this on behalf of my mom, who is almost 64 years old and who unfortunately ordered these Orthotics without asking me what I thought first. She ordered them through their online site, ordered one pair, nothing additional. She received, and got billed for, 6 pair @ $29.90 each and got the "free" lotions, gel cushions and joint support formula. The shipping cost was $99.35!!!!!!! The invoice stated the package (or envelope I should say) was 9.01 lbs., in fact it was 4 lbs at the most! She called to tell them she only ordered one pair, they said they would send her a UPS label to ship the others back. Two weeks, no label. So I called them, with her permission saying I was her, spoke with a man who I could not understand. He tried to tell me he could reimburse the cost of the orthotics but that the shipping was non-refundable. I argued with him over and over that it was their screw up and I be damned if I would pay for their mistake. I told him I wanted to speak with a supervisor; he said his supervisor was in a meeting with his manager. So I told him again, I want to speak with a supervisor and if you can't get me one I will stay on hold all day until I get one. He finally gave in and said he would issue a full refund (this after I told his I was sending all of the shit back). I told him I wanted a dollar amount told to me (of course I wasn't going to get off the phone without him quoting me the exact amount of my order as a refund amount). I told him I was shipping it back UPS ground (which I could do through my work at no charge to me), no insurance; that I would call them with a tracking number; at that point I better have a full refund on my bank account within 24 hours. This was all before I saw this website. So I don't know if this will go through or not. If it does or doesn't I will post and let everyone know. When I brought up the issue of the outrageous shipping charges he informed me they charge shipping per item, not per order. So for USPS parcel post my mom paid $16.55 per item. The government doesn't even rip us off that bad with postage yet. I asked the guy what country he was in and he said the US, California in fact. I seriously doubt it. Hopefully my mom will get all of her money refunded and not incur any additional charges from them, and she will learn a lesson not to order online from a non-reputable company. I'm so pissed about it I could spit nails! I really feel for all the other people who were scammed from them. Good luck to all who are trying to get a refund. My advice is stay on them, get the names of everyone you speak to, and tell them their call is being recorded. they can do it why can't we!!!

I bought a pair of Walk Fit orthotics about 2 years ago. I LOVE them. They have helped my feet a TON. I was going to order a pair for my wife, but then stumbled on this site. Wow, even though I never had a problem I am hesitant now. <br />
<br />
I just saw that Amazon.com has them for $13 a pair. I have ordered several things through Amazon, so I will be getting them through there.<br />

I ordered Walk fit March 12 and it is April 27th and I am still waiting for this product to arrive. When I call to find out about my product they stated that it was delivered, to wait another week. I called back a week later and I asked to speak to a supervisor "KATE" I asked her to read back my address and it was totally wrong. I asked her why they had the wrong information when I called to place the order the person who I confirmed the order with read my address fine. I told them that I wanted my money back and did not want the product. "KATE" stated she needed to received the product back to her in order for her to give me a refund. I told her the address was wrong therefore, she would definitely get back the product. So she hang up on me. So, I'll keep you posted and see if I actually get my money back.

-- I saw the TV infomercial today and thought perfect, as I was just in the shoe stores looking at a similar product...but for $39.95! Ugh, too high I thought. Great Walkfit has good pricing and looks like the [ ] brand in the shoe stores.<br />
I placed my order on the their website, said yes to the offer to buy a 3rd pair and filled in my name, credit card info etc. I wanted to know about shipping so I call their 800 # and was told if ordered 2 pair shipping would still just be $9.95 (the same as for 1 pair). Then I went to checkout page - but there was NO RECEIPT page or webpage showing the items I ordered, the total for shipping and the final total at ALL. Nothing.<br />
<br />
How strange - in all the 10 years I've ordered products off the internet this is the very FIRST TIME that the website did not present a final accounting page. My red flag went up, so I went to my email box and saw the email confirmation of my purchase but it too had NO ACCOUNTING DETAILS of how many shoe inserts I purchased, nothing about the shipping and NO MENTION of the total I would be charged on my credit card.<br />
Now I am completely suspect, so I typed "Walk fit reviews" in my google search bar and I end up here at this website. WALKFIT is a scam, fraud company BIG TIME.... I see this rip off has been going on since 2006! Why have these thieves not been arrested and thrown in jail? <br />
What state are they registered to do business in so we can write to that Attorney General? I will notify Missouri State Attorney General who is real good at going after these types of mail fraud thieves.<br />
People who have similar problems need to write some of the TV news shows like ABC's 20/20, or NightLine or other TV reporters to spread the alert to avoid these people. Also call or write the TV station that airs their infomercials to complain that they are sponsoring an illegal operation.<br />
I immediately called and cancelled my credit card before the charge went thru so hopefully I have stopped the hassle of dealing with these creeps down the road like too many others have had to do. Now I have the hassle of reprogramming my new credit card number into all my automatic billing places, but figured they will contact me when they find they can't use my old card number. Bottom Line... avoid these creeps like the plague. <br />
From now on when I buy from a new web merchant I will check this website first. Great Idea. Thank you to whoever created this site.

Hi everyone, just here to let everyone know about the best scam going in the land. You see, my husband and I have been watching these infomercials for years and always wondered about them. So one day we got serious about these walkfits, because my husband works at a job that requires standing and physical labour. So we ordered them online and realized that we never got a confirmation number after using my credit card. So I proceeded to use the 800 number on the website of walkfit, and some woman with a heavy accent answered and said I should call some other 800 # which she gave to me. Ok, I call them and some guy who was really nice, told me that he was going to cancel the internet order and that I should make another order through him, and I proceeded to do just that, thinking that since I was not going to pay for the other order, it would be fine...yeah right...! I end up getting two orders which I am not satisfied with and my husband now has back aches which are even worse than when he started out with. My suggestion, don't buy this product and pay the extra $ for something you can get fitted professionally or something you can return easily. Thanks for listening to me, but some of us work hard for our money and should not have to get ripped off like that.

I am reading all the problems with the on-line ordering of the walk fit orthotics. OMG! I hate that. But I have to tell you I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. My chiropractor was charging me a fortune and it was not effective. He want ed to sell me some custom orthotics for a few hundred dollars, but before I did that I thought I would try the walk fits. Well folks, I got mine at [] and I love them. There are by far the best $19.99 investment I have ever made. I can actually walk again. I am a flooring contractor and I would work late at night and could hardly walk my feet hurt so bad. I love my walk fits. Buy them at [] and avoid the on-line issues.

Walk fit has hit me up for over $400 for a product I did not order. I was sent pills that you can buy for about $4 at Walmart for $44 every two months. Without my knowledge and not checking my account closely, they had my card and was using it. No one will return my calls. They say they will call in 72 working hours, this is a lie. In 55 years I've never been scamed. Now I have. Stay away from this company. Let the Better Business Bureau know.

I ordered the insoles advertised on television using my Visa check card. The original amount was deducted from my bank account on 3/11/2008 ($30.90, including shipping and handling). I received the package shortly thereafter via the USPS and was moderately satisfied with the product. On 4/10/2008 a charge against my bank account by Walkfit in the amount of $13.90 was posted. I contacted the company who indicated that this was an "additional shipping charge" which was not explained at the time of purchase, nor authorized. They indicated that they would credit the amount back to my account immediately. The following morning, I discovered that rather than crediting my bank account, they had withdrawn an additional $44.85. My immediate call to the company resulted in my being informed that they had enrolled me in a vitamin program and that was the charge for the upcoming shipment of the "joint support formula". I explained that I had never ordered or authorized any such purchase and they explained that I did not have to authorize it because they had included paperwork with my insoles that stated that I was in the program and it was my responsibility to decline. The package for the insoles contained no paperwork, not even a packing slip. They promised to cancel my involuntary subscription and not attempt to re-execute the charge (Walkfit Confirmation # 5932069). They failed to live up to their word and the next day another charge was pending. Although my bank managed to block the transaction from Walkfit on 2 occasions, they managed to slip through under a different name of WF Joint Support and debited the account. I have since cancelled the bank card. To date, I never received any further package from the company. Please check the Better Business Bureau, as of today there were 660 complaints, not inclusive of mine. On their website they indicate that there is a "free sample" of this joint formula to be shipped with each order, no mention of any subscription.<br />
For those of you who have the opportunity to catch it in time, please cancel your bank cards before the charges start mounting. For those of you who have not, please contact the United States Postal Service. They are opening a mail fraud investigation against these scammers.<br />

This company is a horror show! I didn't order the joint supplements that were included. The product is inferior and is a complete rip off. I had to contact American Express b/c Walkfit was charging me automatically each month for the "joint supplements." It took THREE months for them to issue a credit for the orthdotics that I had to pay for to return. They then deducted their original shipping costs from the purchase price to give me a credit. I finally found a phone # to call to remove the automatic charges. They NEVER answer the phone nor do they respond to the dozen emails I sent. Why, oh why are they still in business? Buyer Beware!

I returned a pair that was the wrong size and included "extras" that I did not want nor knew I was ordering. That was January, 2008. I have been trying to get the refund since then. I was continually given incorrect information. I do not believe the customer service people (sounds like they are from India) understand what they are telling you. I was told, more than once, the product was returned and the refund would show up in 3 or so days. That never happened and I have spent the next 2 1/2 months trying to get it. At one point, I was told the time period for returns had expired. At least 3 Customer service reps have told me that they would resolve this and would "call you back". Do not hold your breath! I received one call which was followed up by...nothing. This company is impossible to deal with. One last thing, do not let them put you on "hold", it is really "disconnect". And if I hear one more time, "Thank yu for patience" I don't know what I'll do. As I write I have been given a refund oreder # and the refund should show up in 4-5 business days...I don't really think it will happen but heh, hope springs eternal

Boy do I feel stupid!!<br />
<br />
I just placed an internet order for two sets of Walk Fit insoles about an hour ago. I was shocked to not have an opportunity to review my order before finalizing it (as has been my experience with EVERY other company I've ever done business with over the internet). A minute or so later, I received a confirmation email with exactly zero info about my order. No order #, no $ amount or recap whatsoever.<br />
<br />
I immediately called the "customer service" number and spoke with someone claiming to be named "Paul." Paul told me he could not access my order for 24-48 hours. I told him that was unacceptable. I have a right to cancel this order and demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to "Kevin." He gave me the same BS as "Paul." Refused to budge an inch from the standard story. I asked where I was calling and was told that they are not allowed to disclose their location. Ridiculous!<br />
<br />
Since I got no where w/Walk Fit, I next called my bank and was told that, since I couldn't tell them the total of the order, the only way to block it would be to cancel my card as "lost."<br />
<br />
So, I now have a new VISA on it's way and Walk Fit can kiss my b*tt! I will not wait 24-48 hours to fix this. Kind of a pain, but, if it's what I have to do to avoid being ripped off, it's what I will do.

I purchased the Walk Fit Orthotics after viewing their infomercial one evening on tv. With the return policy that the ad claimed the product distributors to have I couldn't see how I could go wrong. After I received my orthotics I decided that I would return them when they didn't seem right for my specific problem with my feet (which requires me to be under a doctors care). I contacted the customer service rep. and got the run around. The customer service rep. agreed to let me mail the product back for a full refund. I did. The company sent them right back to me. When I spoke to the customer service rep. before mailing the orthotics back, he confirmed that I still had time to get them returned before the return policy time frame ended. When much to my surprise, I received the orthotics back in the mail, the excuse was that my time to return them had run out. I had talked to two separate customer service reps. over the phone who assured me before mailing them that I had plenty of time to return them. Also, a big disappointment in this product is the misleading price advertisement. What starts out at $19.95 quickly turns into 70 plus dollars once you receive the orthotics. Please do yourself a big favor and don't give this company your business. They are only selling you a scam.

I ordered WalkFit orthotics. What I did not order were supplemental joint formula pills. Through either "implied consent" or "negative response," I inadvertently agreed to monthly shipments of these pills. I called WalkFit's customer service number, reported the problem, and they promised this would not happen again. They said I received the pills because I did not check a box somewhere on some paper. I e-mailed WalkFit several days ago and continued e-mailing them about my dissatisfaction. They would not return my e-mail. In fact, customer service would not give out the corporate number to me. They said they were not allowed. Their customer service is in, I believe, India, and they are clueless folks. Thus, I have been ripped off, ignored, and refused. Do not buy this product!
