I purchased two pair of the regular walk fits online. They claim that I upgraded my walk fits to ordered an upgraded pair with gel cushion and rush shipping. I did neither. I hate this company they are a scam DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from them. I also contacted the better business bureau and everyone else should do the same maybe we can get them to change their act or shut down.

I ordered their walk fits online for $19.95 + $9.95 for shipping = $29.90 and that was all I ordered. They sent me two cheap little gel pads that I assumed were included with the product. I checked my bank account they charged me $54.75. When we called to find out what the problem was they were rude and hung up on us twice. Later on we called again and they said that they would only refund $15.00 for the gel pads that I did not order to begin with. They would not refund the full $24.85 for the things I did not order. After reporting them to the BBB they said that not only did I order these gel pads, I also purchased their "Rush Shipping" I guess to them shipping a package out in two weeks time is rushing it. It is my belief they are doing this on purpose hoping that people won't check their bank accounts because they don't include invoices, sales slips, or order #'s with the product or even an email with the items purchased and price. If you have bought from them make sure you that you are checking your bank account. It's to bad most people read about these scam companies only after they have been ripped off themselves, I feel like a fool!

Well, I think most of the people have problem of ordering directly with the Walkfit company. And I really thank them because I got mine from other places. I got mine from the local Target store for $18.99 to avoid the problem of the credit card charging fraud of the company. Now to the actual product, the Walkfit Orthotics. It is simply amazing. I start having back problems since 2nd year of my college years and knee problems at 3rd year. Now I have occasional hip problems also. I also love tennis so I don't want to give up exercising. From the start: I tried this today, and just from the start, I noticed I had mismatch arches from my 2 feet. My right foot was comfortable using medium arch and my left foot was comfortable with low arch. So I choose the medium arch to make both my feet adjust to the same arch. Wow, never knew that I had mismatched foot arches. Feel: I wouldn't say uncomfortable or painful like other people would state. I think they just tried to force themselves to use the wrong size arch. I can feel pressure from the orthotics on my foot but not pain. But the pressure is nothing from the pain I had in my knees and my back. Just make sure you choose the right arch size. I can tell you that when I tried the high arch size it was painful! So I when back to the medium for both my feet, and to allow my left foot to adjust to the arch so I can have better balance on my body. Result: Soon as I got the insoles on, I felt tingly sensation on my knees and then it was gone. Weird I thought, but then I didn't notice that my back pain disappeared. That was the shocking part, I notice that later after I start to think about if this thing really worked. If you don't notice pain, that is good. Conclusion: If you feel extreme pain from wearing this, don't force yourself. Try differ arch size or maybe it doesn't work for you. I can say it works for me. PS: Make sure you take out the original insole of your shoes and place the orthotics inside. Then place back the original insole on top of the orthotics. This will give you come cushion and the orthotics will be placed correctly.

I order 2 pairs of walk fit, I have bad legs thinking they were going to help me. It was the worse product I had ordered. I had blisters from the very first day. I returned both products. After two months of chasing my return. I finally called today spoke to some rude person that hanged the phone on me. And told me that I was only being refunded $29.00 and change due to the fact that they only received one pair. Called again spoke to a [] and she's telling me that .00 they are crediting my credit card $59.80 I am telling her that I no longer have that credit card, I am asking her to send me a check. They charge my credit $89.00 and change. And I am only getting $59.00 back. I am on the phone as we speak trying to speak to a supervisor. She does not understand that I need a check, that I no longer have that account. What a nitemare this has being. I will never recommend that awful product to anyone! I payed $11.00 to return the products. Please don't buy from them. The waiting time to speak to them is way to long and then they hang up on you!

I ordered the orthotics $19.95 and nothing extra. I waited about a month before the shipment came. It included a free gift which was so bad I threw it in the garbage after toying with it for 5 minutes. I was charged $58.70. How do these people get away with this outrageous behavior. I put a stop payment on my credit card and now they will investigate as to what is going on. People like these need a taste of prison I guess to see the light.

I just placed an order online on 9/20 for one pair of Walkfit at for my fiance who has cerebal palsye. Hoping this might help his back pain. The price stated was $19.95. I carefully went through to make sure I did not order any of the other junk thye try to offer you. Was told that the total was going to be $39.90 with the shipping. Seems like a lot to me by hey if it makes him feel better what the heck! I thought it was very funny that when I completed the order that i did not get a screen itimizing the order. It never gave you what you ordered of the total. I looked at my bank statement today 9/25 and low and behold they deducted $69.75. I immediately called them and was told it was because I ordered two pairs, not! I asked if he had had documentation in front of him stating this that he could send me but of coarse not. I told him that this needs to be correct immediately but he stated the the order was already shipped the other day. When would a company ship before they received payment. I was told that when I received the items I could return it for credit. I then read about all of the other complaint people have had with this company. I immediately called my bank and canceled my [] check card. They will not get anymore money from me.

I have back pain and foot pain so I thought, after watching the infomercial, that this was just what I needed after hearing all the testimonials. I liked the fact that the heal was low, kind of like the Earth shoe of the 70's. But they neglected to tell you that the arches were not flexible but very hard plastic. The arches hurt like hell and I used the lowest one (they provide three different heights of arches.). Also, it took forever for them to get here. Almost a month! (I ordered from the Walkfit company and paid $10 shipping. What were they using? Pony Express? And they wouldn't let me get off the phone trying to sell me this and that. Took a half an hour to complete the order and when I finally told the sales rep that I only want the Walkfit and nothing else, she copped an attitude. Anyhow, when I called the company about the pain, (I couldn't walk with them more than a few minutes) they told me I would have to get used to them but if I have foot problems I may never get used to them. WHAT??? The infomercial targets people WITH foot problems providing a list of various ailments such as heel spurs etc. Anyhow, I tried again and then the next day and so on for a few weeks. I really wanted them to work for me. Just hurt so bad I had to return them. After returning them, I had to call the company because the refund was taking so long. When I called them about not receiving my refund (which was two weeks after they got the package according to my tracking number) they said they didn't put the refund through yet. A month later, I still did not receive the refund. I did eventually get the refund but had to call them three times. Crappy way to do business. Anyhow, this is not the product that I expected, especially since they target people who are having problems walking but the product made it even harder to walk and painful.

I ordered walk fit over the phone. The only information the service did not confirm is the size. I ordered a 7 1/2 and the automated service repeated size 10. I made 3 different calls and sent an e-mail to correct the problem. The 3rd person I talked to assured me that it had been corrected and would arrive 6 to 7 days. Nine days later I received the product and discovered it was size 10. I have made 6 more calls trying to get satisfaction. I have told the last person that I wanted a total refund. They only want to refund for product but not s&h. I told them I would not pay for something that they had shipped incorrectly.

Product is fine and actually helps with my plantar fascitis. At $19.95 I felt the price was reasonable. However, on an order for two pair ($49.90) I was charged a $9.95 shipping fee PLUS a $39.95 shipping and handling fee (for the regular, not fast, delivery). Thus, the shipping equals the cost of the product. Why not just charge $29.95 for each pair and a reasonable shipping fee? And no, the $39.95 shipping and handling was not shown on the order. I would have not completed the order. What a shame, the product is good; the processing is criminal.

I have not bought the walkfit orthotics yet but I was planning on doing so until I came across this website. I read that people had bought them at there local stores. I have since found them at [] and []. So to save you the hassel of trying to get a refund and stuff try [] or []. Same price but without the S&H fee.

Product is OK, pills are the scam, the send the damn pills even if you haven't ask for them. After a month or so they start charging your credit/debit card concurrently for new shipments of pills, until you call to cancel the order. Calling their 1-800 number is a pain in the neck, the next available agent takes forever and I mean forever to answer, when they finally do, and you start explaining you do not want anymore of those pills misteriuosly the call is droped and you need to call again, this had happen to me 3 times, after that I was finally able to talk to a human being, the lady told me that because I didn't cancel the pills on time before the first shipment (15 days) I can not cancel anymore unless I agree to pay a "penalty" of around $ 264 dollars.. What? ! They argue that at the moment I received the first shipment of pills I was agree to pay for the whole one year treatment. what a SCAM. I canceled the debit card and got a new one with my bank. Bunch of Crocks. Wondering if there isn't a legal way to stop this or at least to get even.

I saw the infomertial and thought this would be great since I am working in construction my feet have taken a beating. I bought 3 pairs. I wore them to work for only one day and thought I would be crippled for life, by lunch I had to take them out. I returned them with a letter explaining my dissatisfaction and requesting a refund. 2 months went by and I heard nothing. So I called the company and was informed that they recieved the orthotics one day too late to give me a refund.I was thinking it was a good think I sent the return via certified mail. I complained and asked to speak to a supervisor. He informed me he would look into it. To this day 2 years later I have about given up on ever seeing my money. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as possible. Them people on tv must get paid a fortune to torture themselves for the length of the commercial.

Lousy product. You WILL be scammed on the supplements. You WON'T get your money back even if you do exactly what they say to do. If you haven't ordered the product yet DON'T DO SO. I ordered my crap in February, complained several times in writing and nada for results.

8/21/2008 - M J writes:
My problem is not with the orthotics themselves - even though they did not work for me - but for the supplemental vitamins I received in the mail-which I DID NOT order. I was charged $44.85 for them. When I contacted the company they advised me that when I received the orthodics, there was a letter stating if I did not want the supplemental vitamins, I had to contact them to stop any future shipments. I did not see this letter and do not have the packaging so I cannot verify for certain if the letter was in the package. I called to have my money refunded but am advised I have to return the product first - what a scam!! My purchase was for orthodics - not vitamins!! I will be reporting them to the BBB and the Attorney General's office.

I ordered one pair of walk fit orthotics. I chose not to receive the free gift but got it anyway. They overcharged me for shipping which I did not agree to. A month or so later I receive two bottles of pills in the mail and they charged me like 40 dollars for them. I never agreed to this, but fine. I will cancel. I send an email to their customer service email to cancel but also call to cancel just to make sure they don't try and do this again. A month goes by and I don't receive anything so I think I'm out of the woods. Today I get an email notice telling me my order has shipped! It shipped on the 15th. I call them and they said since my order was cancelled just two days ago, and the product shipped before that, they can't refund my money but if I send it back when it gets here they will refund my money within about 10 days. How convenient that they wait two months to put my cancellation order in AFTER they ship me something else and charge me 40 dollars for it. It's a shame that our government allows this kind of crap to go on.

I bought the insoles as I have much trouble with my feet and legs and am on them all day. I figured a few dollars for shipping and handling. By the time they got done with me, they sent my insoles I didn't order, the free gift and the walk fit insoles. The order was $29.90 ($9 of which I didn't order) and the shipping was $25.00! The package didn't even weigh 1 pound. I put them in my work shoes, which were extremely tight with the insoles but it also felt as if I had a huge rock under the ball of my foot. Sure it says I can return them BUT I don't want to waste any more money on shipping and handling and never knowing when I will get the refund. So, I guess I'll hang onto them and maybe create a work of art with them. If you are considering this product, please think twice. Wish I would have investigated better.

The WalkFit product seems fine, but the web site for ordering is definitely as fraud/scam. On checkout, they do not give you a total of the charges. On an order of $94.70, I was charged $54.65 shipping. Had I been shown a final total at the time of the order, I would have not accepted. Three weeks later the order arrives (minus the FREE Joint Support). No matter didn't want it anyway. Several weeks later the Joint Support arrives, along with the paper work and a charge of $ 44.85. After reading the paper work, I realised that they had put me on automatic shipping every 60 days. I caaled and was told that they could not cancel because there system was down. Well, for over two weeks I have been calling and have been told that there system was down. This morning I called and finally I got a little threatning. I finally got a cancellation number. My fear now is (from other complaints) wether they are going to continue charging me ! This is America can't we stop this kind of fraud ??? It seems that while we complain, nothing is getting done, except they are getting rich!

8/20/2008 - Angela writes:
My problem is similar to all the above. We were charged double what we expected, never got a receipt or order summary, the product took 3 weeks to arrive and is worthless. I have reported to BBB and will report to California Attorney General. Should have known better!

I ordered WalkFit shoe inserts for $19.95 plus $9.95 shipping. After about 3 weeks I received no orthotics, only 1 pair of arch pads, along with a ton of product advertisements. The customer service reps tried to convince me that the pads I received were the actual orthotics and said Just wear them. I finally got them to admit that what I received is not the orthotics. They would not let me talk to a supervisor and tried to get me off the line. I have lost $30 but intend to report them to the California Attorney General. DON'T buy these!

8/16/2008 - Ed writes:
The Walkfit orthotics seem to work as advertised when used as directed. They can be purchased online from other vendors, or at your local department store with []. Do Not purchase them from the Walkfit website. These people will scam you with hidden orders (small boxes that must be unchecked on a part of the web page that must be scrolled down to find) and revolving charges that are in small print that you conveniently agree to when accepting free gifts. Customer service is an oxymoron where they are concerned. Don't expect charges to stop even after you attempt to cancel or refuse further charges. Shipping is slow and receiving credit for returned merchandise is even slower. The best way to get rid of them if you get caught in their trap is to have your credit card company block any further attempts by them to charge your account.
