I ordered WalkFit shoe inserts for $19.95 plus $9.95 shipping. After about 3 weeks I received no orthotics, only 1 pair of arch pads, along with a ton of product advertisements. The customer service reps tried to convince me that the pads I received were the actual orthotics and said Just wear them. I finally got them to admit that what I received is not the orthotics. They would not let me talk to a supervisor and tried to get me off the line. I have lost $30 but intend to report them to the California Attorney General. DON'T buy these!

The Walkfit orthotics seem to work as advertised when used as directed. They can be purchased online from other vendors, or at your local department store with []. Do Not purchase them from the Walkfit website. These people will scam you with hidden orders (small boxes that must be unchecked on a part of the web page that must be scrolled down to find) and revolving charges that are in small print that you conveniently agree to when accepting free gifts. Customer service is an oxymoron where they are concerned. Don't expect charges to stop even after you attempt to cancel or refuse further charges. Shipping is slow and receiving credit for returned merchandise is even slower. The best way to get rid of them if you get caught in their trap is to have your credit card company block any further attempts by them to charge your account.

Well, let me put my 2 cents in. I have really bad arthritic knees and feet and lower back. I tried these a few years back, and sent them back. Walkfit refunded my money just like promised. I got worse and saw that they had redone the cushion part. So i reordered. I LOVE THEM! Ive worn them for about 3 weeks now and wouldnt live without them. I have seen SUCH a difference in how my knees and feet and back feels! Today, i put on my regular shoes without the insoles, and couldnt WAIT to get home so i could put my Walkfit in! Once I got them in, it was like my whole body sighed with relief! They are a little hard to get used to, but now I dont feel them much at all. Im so glad i tried them again! After all these bad reports, I wanted to tell you how much they helped me. AND,they charged my card ONLY what they said they would. I will definately reorder!

Well, I am suffering from severe feet, knee and back pain. Its been several years, but as all doc's have you do, do this, do that and still in pain. I have tried many types of inserts and was somewhat captivated by the WalkFit infomercial. I almost went through the online purchase with all of the added schemes. yes the i.e., lotions, vitamins and other non-sense items. Since i have been had before I decided to look on line for more information on the inserts and came across this site and immediately changed my mind. It turns out that further research revealed that my local store [] carries them for []. I believe and thank those that reported their horror stories that i avoided such headaches. I visited the store and purchased them 8/7/8 will report their success soon. For those that have read the complaints above, check locally and avoid the waiting and shipping costs problems.

I ordered 2 pairs of Walkfit Orthotics and they gave me the wrong size and billed me $19.90 for shipping that arrived 3 weeks, instead for the low price they mentioned in their commercial $5.95 for any number of pair. I chose to go for the slow delivery as I am not in a hurry to get the product. I was billed almost $65 instead of my expected $45. I called them immediately, and they have the worst costumer service assistant ever, he was speaking to fast and he can't seem to comprehend anything I am saying and I can't understand him too. He won't stop talking and won't wait to listen to my complains, he seems too much in a hurry. Please don't ever, ever order from this website it is a scam and it will send you lots of junk mail, bill you for extra stuffs you never ordered and enroll you in programs and products you never signed for which will be automatically delivered and deducted monthly from your credit card.

My only complaint is that I lived with with bad knees for 30 years before discovering Walk Fit. I had difficulty buying these online but succeeded in getting them over the phone. I have VERY SUCCESSFULLY been using this product for abot three years now. The hardest time I had was the first few days when it felt like I was standing on half a golf ball. I couldn't wear them all day as I wanted. I then wore them as instructed a few minutes the first day and gradually built up till I was wearing them all day after only two weeks. My feet molded to the shape of these arches... Heel spur of 9 months disappeared after 3 days. MRI's have indicated I am bone on bone in both knees with some arthritis and some deterioration of both knee caps. Dr.s even recommenede knee replacements. Bad situation, I know. Severe knee pain kept me from playing tennis at full 4.0 level I was use to. Feeling quite handicapped much of the time. Wearing Walk Fits after only two weeks, knee pain was reduced appx 33%. My knee pain got horribly worse after paying $600.00 for Dr. prescribed orthotics. After trying Dr prescribed, I went back to a new pair of Walk Fits and the pain is almost completely gone. MAIN thing to know is to replace every 6-9 months. If you don't, knee pain will return even though the Walk Fits look fine. When I compared old to new, I could see the old had collapsed arches. Now I walk all day without knee issues. Tennis now at 4.5 level with reduced court time due to being 53 years old.

I saw the Infomercial for walkfit and decided to order them. I have osteo arthritis in my knee and thought it might help. I have an online store so instead of calling to order I decided to place to order online so I could read and deselect any pre checked items like extra shipping or any upsells. I got an order confirmation but no total for the amount they charged my credit card. I checked my online credit card statement and they had charged me $89.55 for 2 pair of walkfit orthotics. I immediately emailed them and of course they said they can't cancel my order. I'm calling my credit card company to see what can be done. All Walkfit said to do was to refuse the package when it arrives. Do not order form this Scam company

7/27/2008 - sara writes:
My problem is similar to all the above. We were charged double what we expected, never got a receipt or order summary, the product took 3 weeks to arrive and is worthless. I have reported to BBB and will report to California Attorney General. Should have known better!

I just purchased a pair of Walk Fit at a [] store for 18.95. I've only used them a couple of times and they seem to be good. I saved all the shipping charges and all the other trash that they try to sell you when you order from the TV.

I am very pleased with my walk Fit Orhtotics. They were recommended to me by my Osteopath. I did not buy them on line but at [] as per the doctor's suggestion. I have worn them for about 6 months now and my lower back pain is gone and I no longer need to see the Doctor. I am sorry for all of you that purchased them from the infomercial phone #. Just go down to your local [] and spend 19.95 plus tax. You will be pleased.

I ordered 1 pair @ $19.95 + 1 pair at $14.95 plus shipping of $9.95 for each. Somehow this added up to $96.49. After tracking down a customer service person (in India, I believe) I was told I could refuse/return product (I'm sure at my expense) for refund. My bank has warned me that the refund will be for the product only (just under $30.00) and I'll be out $66.49. I know this is a scam. Company is making money from the ship/handling charges and the insoles are the means to make this money. I've reported them to BBB and California Attorney General. I also filled out a complaint form on their website. I'm a legal secretary and have been trained to read fine print or be suspicious. I feel like a fool!

My husband has had a pair of the Walkfit orthotics for years. He originally bought them under the name Phase 4 Orthotics. They helped him tremendously. He wanted two more pairs to go in different pairs of shoes. He ordered after seeing the commercial on TV. When he placed the order he, like others, never got a shipping total, invoice, etc. The inserts were $19.95 plus $9.95 each for shipping. Our confirmation email did not mention the cost or what was being shipped. After 18 days our order arrived, preceded by our credit card bill for $99.55. In addition to the 2 pairs of inserts he got 2 pairs of gel cushions, which he did not order. Evidently he did not click a refusal box or some such garbage. We were charged $9.95 shipping for each pair, $9.95 for rush shipping (which we did not request and the package took 18 days to get here) and $4.95 shipping for each pair of gel cushions. There was a total of $39.75 for shipping. When I called them I was told that it was against the rules to refund shipping but this person would do it anyway if I mailed them back. I returned the entire package with everything in it that they shipped and even used the same mailing envelope. It cost me $6.55 to ship it back (they charged $39.75). It took 2 days to get to them. After many calls and promises I was told to Fax a letter to the corporate office. Evidently they do not have a mailing address????? During my last conversation with [] he said they could have refunded my shipping if I had not returned the package. He also said that the first person I spoke to would be reprimanded for telling me I would get my shipping refunded. He went on to say that the shipping they charged ($39.75) was the actual shipping charged by the USPS. The shipping invoice says the package weighed 4.20 pounds. When I sent it back it weighed 1 lb. 11 ozs. and cost $6.55. [] also told me their site is very consumer friendly and that they have thousands of customers so the fact that there are hundreds of unhappy customers doesn't mean much. I tried the inserts myself years ago and could not get used to them. They saved my husband's legs. His vericose veins shrunk. For him they were good. If you decide to try them, do not order directly from Walkfit. Maybe the other sellers are honest. I called the USPS. The woman I spoke to was great. She was very sorry she could do nothing to help me. She said the best thing is to file a complaint with my State Attorney General's Office, which I am doing. She said that everyone needs to do it. Maybe if enough of us do this rip off company will be forced out of business.

i just order walk fit, like 1 hour ago, and then i just diside to see what other people think about it, well i saw all this people complaining about "walkfit". my first think was to cancel the order but a will have to wait 24-48 hrs. i cannot wait that much, so I check my online banking, so i diside to report my card as lost,so i dont give them the opportunity to charge me the bill and i will not have problems of being waiting weeks or months for my refound, i think it was the BEST HIT!

I am reading all of the "information" on this website and I am very upset that I have not read anything useful. I ordered the Walkfit Orthotics and did not have any issue with the people on the phone, shipping, charges, etc. As a matter of fact, I received my WalkFit Orthotics in less time than I was told. In the package I received a full receipt with full detail of my purhcase. As a matter of fact, it even shows the invoice number. My only issue (I have only had the products for 3 days) is that there was little information about WalkFit or how to use them (I know it seems obvious, but it is good to have further information). Right now my problem is not with the WalkFit product but with this site. I was trying to learn information on the product and all I am learning is a small number of people that obviously cannot handle their finances. As for calling a customer service number and reaching someone that cannot speak english, unfortunately this is called outsourcing. I do not agree with it, but many companies, states and municipalities are outsourcing or are forced to have customer service people answering the phones that speak poor english. But this is not a reason to call the company a scam. A scam would be if the product does not work. So, on this website, I would suggest putting product information which would allow people such us myself to research the product and not have to waste my time reading a bunch of whiners that have a hard time with billing! If anything, this website may be a scam. So, my question is - IS THE WALKFIT PRODUCT A GOOD PRODUCT OR NOT!!! As for the product, I am pleased at this point, but I want to read further reviews to confirm that I have made the correct decision.

I also have a horror story. My initial reaction was to file a Better Business Bureau complaint. Imagine my surprise to discover that the Bureau here in Los Angeles [] has given them an "A" rating.

I ordered this product off of the infomercial by calling the phone number they provided. I love the product. The only problem I have had is that the product does crack over time. I never tried to get a replacement product through the website as $20 is not a lot to get a new pair. They are sold at the [] near me. Besides, even the cracked ones still work; they're just cracked. My feet just don't feel the same without them. They help me immensely.

I ordered this product via the website only to submit my order and get no receipt or order number! I immediately called the customer service number on the website and was told to wait 48 to 72 hours for my order to enter their system. The customer service rep also said that, at that time, I could cancel or alter my order in any way. But, my order first had to be in their system. I called back the next day...got the same words from another rep. I continued to call every business day for over a week and finally the order was in their system and my credit card had been charged. I told the rep that I had asked, from the beginning phone call, to cancel my order because their website would not give me a receipt and I didn't trust them! He said he could NOT cancel my order and that he did not have the authority to cancel it. He did, however, offer to credit my account for the shipping and handling charges! I then asked that if you can credit the S&H, why can't you cancel my order. Again, he said he did not have the authority to do so. I asked for a supervisor and finally got one...who also spoke very poor english. He also refused to cancel my order. After this frustrating conversation for the 8th time, I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. Right after this, a rep from Walk Fit called me and said they had no authority to cancel orders, so he told me to simply refuse the package and when they receive it back, my account would be credited the FULL amount including S&H. I told him I didn't believe him and I felt they were being dishonest and giving me the runaround. I told my credit card company what they told me. They suggested paying the postage to return the order with a tracking number to confirm delivery, but that I would not be reimbursed for this amount. PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THE WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE. I also was charged for items I did not order!! When I finally did get a rep to tell me how much I was being charged, they, again, refused to correct my order or to cancel it. But they were quick to offer free shipping and handling!! What a crock!!! I may cancel my credit card and get a new number after reading all the other complaints. I wish I would have seen this site before I even dealth with this terrible company. I have certainly learned a valuable lesson here. Since reading the reviews on the product that people have received and used, I REALLY know I don't want this product!!! One last note...I was given three different 800 numbers by their reps each time I called. None of the people answering these numbers spoke clear English and all but one said they were in Hollywood or Terrace, California. One rep said she was in Florida.

Thanks for all the complaints. You can buy these retail now at a chain bath and home supply store, but I wanted to check them out before purchasing. Due to the huge number of complaints I decided not to add to this company's profits! But curiosity got me, so I went to their web site and read the Terms and Conditions of purchase. When you buy the orthotics you agree that any disputes are to be resolved via arbitration. Below is the procedure, including a telephone number for their legal offices. I called the number, just for kicks, and it was no longer in service (big surprise). Good luck to everyone, sorry you got taken for a ride. 3. ARBITRATION PROCEDURES. a. Before commencing any arbitration proceedings under this Agreement, you must first present the claim or dispute to Company by calling 818-217-2500 and asking for the Legal Department and allowing Company the opportunity to resolve the claim or dispute. If your claim or dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days, you may commence arbitration proceedings in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

I have experienced all the same things that everyone is telling. What I have done is called the Better Buissness Bureual and told them my story. They in return sent the complaint forward and they said that I should here from them in 15 days. I recieved a refund from walkfit and they sent me a letter stating that my acount was canceled. What I also did was went to my bank and they also reversed the transaction that walkfit charged me too. I had to cancel my credit/ debit card so Walkfit couldn't charge me any more but it is well worth it due to me not have to deal with those ignorant jerks over there. Just to give you a heads up you can also call the Office of the Attorny General of Californa and make a complaint with them also. I know there is some stories on here that says they cant do anything but the trick is to get all the complaints to them as possible so they close them down. Not just one complaint will do it so lets all work together and make it happen. There is over 660 complaints to the BBB so lets just not just get our refund lets take them down. We dont need people like them selling to the USA. Good luck

My initial order was missing several items, and I was charged "express delivery", which I DID NOT request. Phone calls to Walk Fit do no good. E-mails do no good. These people are ripping off people. DO NOT buy Walk Fit products. I think Walk Fit applies to these rip off artists "walking fit" to the bank with all the money they rip off from people.
