I purchased the Wind Storm Vac buy one get one free. I gave one to mymother inlaw she has not repoted any problems with hers. The first time I used the Wind Storm Vac I was vacuuming my stairs and by the time I reached the 6th star it shut off. It would not turn back on for 15 minutes, it felt very hot. I tried to contact the company at the number given. The number had be disconnected. I could not reach anyone by the email address that was printed. I cannot reach customer service. I would like to replace the vacuum. I would appreciate any help you might can give me. Karen

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! It goes by the name WIND STORM or the SMART SPACE VAC. It is the worst vacuum I have ever used! As an upright it has zero power. I have to roll over a piece of lint 5 or 6 times to pick it up! The head falls off and won't stay attached. It blows so much heat through its vents that it makes me sweat just to use it! The hand held works okay, but when you point it down to clean without the power on, all of your previous vacuuming debris falls back out onto your floor! UGH! It came with no instructions in either box, no receipt and no paperwork for returning it. There is no return address anywhere for getting it back to them. When I finally got through to someone in customer service after about 5 tries, she told me that I was outside of my 30 day trial and could not return it! I told her that I had tried and tried to locate a return address but was sent no paperwork and had to get their number from my credit card statement and had called many times and could never get through. When I finally told her just to give me the return address, she refused and disconnected our call! NEVER, NEVER buy this! You are forewarned. It is the worst product I have ever bought and I wasted $196.85!! The customer service number is: 866-626-7956

I saw the commerical on tv where you order this fantastic vacuum cleaner and for only three payments of 39.95, plus shipping, and you would get another vacuum cleaner free and also a free steam cleaner. Sounded too good to be true and sure enough it was. After several weeks I did receive a package with two vacuum cleaners. The cleaners were practically worthless and then I discovered my bank account had been charged a total of $413.70 instead of $ 3 X 39.95 plus shipping cost of $18.50. For a total of $138.35. I tried many times to contact the company via telephone and I never get to talk to anyone, just put on hold for long periods of time or talk to a recorder.

I bought the Windstorm Vac around 2005. The promotional price on the infomercial was for 2 vacuums. I received 4! I did try the product and it was horrible. I called to return the 2 extra vacuums I was sent by mistake and to return the 2 I originally purchased. I paid about $40 to ship the items back UPS. The company did receive the product because I tracked them, but I was never given a refund. Long story short, I was bounced around by customer service reps and then I was given a number that was disconected. I tried emails and I contacted the Better Business Bureau. Better Business told me their were over 1000 complaints against Windstorm. They also said the company kept closing down and changing its name to avoid any charges. Overall, I was out about $400 plus s+h, and alot of valuable time. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! DON'T ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!!!

In December 2006 I attempted to purchase a Windstorm vaccumn, actually 2, I was planning on giving one to my Mom for Christmas. I was charged for the product but it was never received. When I attempted to contact the company at the phone number I was given to confirm my purchase and track the shipping, the number was changed. When I tried the supposedly new number I received a Phyciatric ward some where back east. My CC company refused to credit my account because I couldn't prove the product wasn't received. They said I would have to contact Winstrom Ventures and have them contact the CC company to confirm the product wasn't shipped. Now I am out over $600 and have nothing to show for it. I am a single mom on a budget so paying out over $600 isn't easy. After reading the other complaints, which date back over 2 years I would like to know why this company is still allowed to scam people and take their hard earned money with out any penalty? Why do these scam artist have more legal rights than the hard working people that attempted to purchase their product? What are we supposed to do?

I bought the Windstorm about a year ago.Received 4 of them. When I called them they said it was a mistake etc.Sent them back. Never received the steamer. Was told to ship them back for full refund.Never was able to speak to anyone after that.I also went thru that false email address. They took about $400 out of my account. There should be a lawsuit.

I ordered the vacuum about a year ago and found it useable but it had a flaw in that the extenders don't fit together. It looks like it was packaged wrong. I've tried to contact the company about this error with no success.

I purchases the Power Storm Vac in November 2006. Although I received the product, it never held up to the promises made on the infomerical. I have called, and emailed, but have received NO satification.

I purchased the Wind Storm vac in December of 2006; two as a matter of fact along with the steamer. I never received the vacs, but was charged almost $300 for the products. In trying to locate a phone number to call them, I came across the "scam" site which has lots of complaints. I, too, am interested in joining in a class action law suit if anyone knows how to go about starting one.

I also fell prey to the Wind Storm Vac scam. I ordered via telephone the vac and the company doubled my order, sending me four and charging me $489.00. Upon receipt of this huge box that listed four vaccuums on the packing list, I sent the entire box back to shipper along with the shipping paper stating cancel order, and all that info. I contacted the company the same day, after being put on hold for over two hours..and told them that I had returned the vacuums. The company told me to call back in a few days to check if they received their vacuums. Called back the number and once again after a grueling hour on hold, I spoke to a live person, gave them the UPS tracking number, and they verified with UPS that the packages were sent back. I was told my credit card would be reimbursed within thirty days. I called back after the credit card was not reimbursed and was told that it would be within sixty days. Mind you that was in January of 2006 and I am still waiting for my credit card to be reimbursed. The number I have for the company is no longer in service. I am quite interested to see if there are any lawsuits against the company and to join one. Or if anyone has a number that is legit to the windstorm vac company.. I would appreciate it.

My troubles started back in December 2005. I saw the infomercial on the TV I not only ordered the first set but paid shipping and handling for the second set (second set was free). About three weekd later no vaccums so I called the 800 number and I was told that these items were on back order and that they were expecting the items in their warehouse at the end or January 2006. I purchased them for christmas presents, so I ask for a refund. right after that the web site shut down and the 800 number was refering me to Milinex.com. Now I see the same product on IGIA.com for $59.95. We all need to get together and sue this comapany for misrepresentation and fraud!! I believe that the IGIA Company was behind this all along and should be made responsable for all of this!!!!

I bought it off tv, got everything. Fisrt bill said windstorm ventures on my charge card and no phone number..I had never heard of them so I went ahead and found another bill, and then 2 more. They had a phone number of 212-369-0500. I called it, a recording says and still does that the number has changed to 646-672-6767, called that it was a psyco house in manhatten. The operator there said he's got hundreds of calls and it's a scam so I suspected idenity fraud and disputed it. This was the last I heard of it. I got a heart attack, congestive heart failure, had a defibulator put in, after 3 weeks it malfuntioned, so they had to stop my heart again and put in a new one, I have only been home since 6 weeks. I saw the bank gave them their money back, last January. I was mad, complained but then they sent me the bill for 2 vacuum cleaners..but under a different name, they never called themselves windstorm ventures on tv.Now Card member services Lindsey called and said since it's been 6 months they are taking legal action unless I call immediately. She left it on voice mail. I tried to call her but she called private, I tried *69 but could not get through. Their money is there but they have to pick it up...instead they are harassing a dying man. I tried 3 hours but didn't get far. Call the numbner and see what I mean.

I purchased the lazer storm vac in August of 2005. They never told me they were shipping a second set of vacuums which I was charged for. I called them up and they told me they would pick them up and credit me the difference. Well, they did pick them up but I never got my money back. At first I was able to get hold of someone and was always assured that I would get a refund but as time went by nothing was ever refunded to me. Eventually, I could no longer get through on the phone to them and tried emailing. Never ever got any response back from them even though I get and automated response saying someone will be in contact with me within 24 hours. 1 and 1/2 years and still have not received my money back. From the many other people in this same situation I see that they scammed many other people out of a very lot of money.

I ordered from informercial Wind storm vac. I not only have been scammed by wind storm but also milinex (both seem to be the same company and over $400 total) I ordered 11/2005 from wind storm but when it didn't come, I asked for a refund and I finally got a letter saying a refund would be coming. Not realizing that windstorm vac and milinex were the same company (scam) I saw milinex advertise a similiar product. I ordered from them 04/2006. To date neither refund or product. I put in a complaint with the FTC and BBB. Not much has been done. I would think that an investigation should be done. Kate

I purchased the storm vac back in Nov 2006. My charge card was charged for the full amount including the filters I never got. I called three times in Nov and Dec and the reps told me that the filters were on back order. Since the begining of the year I have tried to contact Storm vac and have had no luck. I mailed them several times, no reponse, and the number you call from the little book you get with the vac. has you on hold for 7 mins and then hangs up on you. I just want my filters I paid for.

100% scam. Have not received product after ordering online about a month ago. Internet confirmation invoice says the order is being processed and will ship promptly. 3 weeks later, we tried to call their published number 1-800-711-8357 and it is disconnected. Tried another number 800-278-6886 and voice mail message says to email customer service. Emailed them and was told we have to wait 7-10 days to receive a reply. Fortunately we found this website and learned our suspicions were correct. We canceled our card before any charges could be made. And for search engine purposes here are the keywords: Windstorm Ventures, and Product SF7739-2, and Power Storm vacuum.

I ordered this storm vac and recieved it,but found out when I tried it that it was junk, and didn't hold up to the infomercial, that was complete false advertisement.so I called them back, told them how I felt and that I wanted my money back since their commercial states 30 day money back garauntee!! oh but that is another case of false advertisement since I never got it back! I sent the sweeper back in november of 2006.I am still waiting for my money.when you try to get ahold of an actual person, now you get recordings and also to respond to Yevgeniy's story that he posted in april of 2006,where he tells you if you want immediate response about your complaint to email customercare@stormvac.com and they will respond within 24 hours? well guess what?? another big fat fraud. I have emailed them numourous times and they do reply saying a customer care rep. will get in touch in 24 hours, but they never do!! so I guess I have to face the fact that I got ripped off and will never get my money back!

I like all others have ordered the Wind Storm and was hoping for a nice vaccum. I guess I was the only one sucked in. I saved the commerical on my DVR and when I call it now they are advertising a fishing rod and was led to several different reps with no answers. I am wanting to report them but would like to have some help. Please someone else let me know where to turn. Thank You Kris
