My name is Janice I live in New York, I order the windsorm vaccum from IGIA on Sept 30 after watching it on television. They took the money from my account on October 3, 165.03. I waited 6 weeks and still no product. I called in November and they told me it was in the computer then I said cancel my order its been to long, customer service said wait 14 days for you refund I told them it did not take you 14 days to take it from my account. Now it March I call the 212 575-0500 I spoke to a supervisor and she told me my money would be in my account on March 23,2006 it now March 25, 2006 and still no money. I would like to know who runs this company who are the VIP, is this a real company it too many complaint and I did not know how many people are being ripe off by these people until today. I know we work to hard for our money for someone like these people to be riping us off. I had to write to my bank and see if they could do something for me to get my money back because the way this company is going I may never see my money but I not trying to throw away 165.03 so I am writing to you and NBC 7 on your side because these people have to be stop. How could they be still advertise on TV and on the WEB. Janice

I ordered a windstorm vacuum cleaner after seeing the infomercial on tv in October 2005. I never spoke with a live person when ordering or received a confirmation number after entering my information with my telephone keypad. I even paid 8.95 extra to have it sent through rush delivery. About 3 wqeeks later I had a charge of 282.00 posted to my bank account for 4 vacuums that I planned to giveaway as Christmas gifts. It is now March 2006. After numerous weekly calls to the 800 number on my bank statement I have still not received the vacuums or a refund that was requested in January 2006. I feel so used and abused. I can not believe that this company is able to operate in such a manner with all of the safety measures that are created to protect consumers. I wish someone could help me. I just don't know where to turn.

I order on the tv windstoms vacumn last year. I paid in full for the vacumn never recieved the product or even got my money back. I have contact them serval times and always told me they would be coming then they told me I owe more money to them. It was false advertisement on the tv. I told them to give me my money back and it has been a month and did not return my money yet which they said they will. I told them I will never order an other product again on tv. that was the first and will be the last. They were very rude to me when I called them.

I also purchased the vacuum; after it quit working within 15 minutes I sent it back.  I have been playing the same game with this company every four weeks.  I am now in the process of filing a complaint with Attorney General's office, BBB, and California Attorney General's Office (since Wind Storm is located in California).  It will take all consumers filing the same complaint if any BIG action is to be taken against this company.  Good Luck to all who have been taken by this company.  Customer Service, not to mention INTEGRITY, is sorely LACKING within this company.

i purchased the windstorm vacuum. and recieved it on time. only problem is that with it came three extra vacuums. when i read my credit card bill, i found out that they charged me for all four plus the shipping of all four. what should have cost me $80 turned out to be $400.even worse when i tryed to fight it and return them i was informed that i would not be reimbursed for the shipping and handeling for either direction which was $120 each way. so i am stuck with 4 vacuums that i don't even need and really can't afford.

Im weary of calling these people also. All that the other folks have written has happened to me. I believe the company has gone out of buisiness, yet are still taking orders. I intend to take action against these people through my bank and Intend to contact the Attorny General of these scam artists... hmmm ... maybe I will contact my local Investigative Reporter to play hide and seek with these jerks. Be well all...

Placed order on online on 10/2/2005 for 2 WindStorm vacs for $210.24 - I have called and I have emailed.  I finally got a person on the phone on 1/20/2006 and cancalled the order.  They said it would take an additional 21 days to have the funds returned.  Today is 3/6/2006 and I still have not had a response by email, phone nor has the money been returned to my account.   These people need to be prosecuted for fraud and stealing.  They have harmed the reputation of every other legitimate business as now I would never buy something through an infomercial.

Well I see that I am not the only one to be scamed by The Wind Storm Vac. I ordered mine because my little grandson was spending the night with us and got up early one morning to go to school and saw the infomercial and wanted me to order one for me and get one free for him. Well, I too tried to cancel the order after I found out online that the vacuums only cost $55.00 online for one and they charged me $119.85 for buy one get one free and $37.00 shippng for the two. The one I ordered online was only $55.00 with shipping of $10.95. I have since sent the two vacs back and contacted my credit card company and they are handling it for me. Now I have reorderd as I stated online from Igia and have been charged, but can't seen to get the vacuum. They told me yesterday 2-28-2006 that UPS has lost it and they are filing a loss and will reship and they also could not give me the correct tracking no. for UPS which also sounds unreal. I may be filing another claim on my credit card and hope there is a class action suit against them. I will be the first to come forward.Good luck to all of you and I will let you know how mine turns out and am contacing the BBB.

I ordered a Wind Storm Vacuum on Oct. 29, 2005.  The offer was buy one get one free plus a free steamer.  My credit card was charged on Oct. 31, 2005.  When I saw the charge, I called customer service and a automated service told me that my order had been processed and would be shipped in 3-5 business days.  When I did not receive my order by the middle of December, I called and I waited on hold for 2 hours and never spoke to a person.  I then began sending the emails.  I have sent 5 emails and received a response that I would be "personally contacted by a customer service representative".  I have never been contacted.  I called again and spoke to a Kelly who told me that she would check on the order and I would receive it shortly.  On Jan 31, 2006.  I called again and spoke to Jennifer who said that the warehouse was out of stock, but that a shipment was expected soon and I would have my vacuums no later than Feb 20.  She also said that my card would be credited and charged again when the product actually shipped.  I have called repeatedly since the 20th and I have waited on hold for over an hour each call only to be disconnected.  It actually sounds like someone has picked up the phone and hung it up!  I would like to cancel the order, but I can't get in touch with someone to do it.

I placed an order for a Windstorm vacuum on December 17, 2005.  Tried two days later to cancel the order and was unable to speak to anyone.  I was put on hold for 2 1/2 hours.   Attempted following day and the company was closed because of New York's Transit strike (this was on the message at Customer Service).  Message said that they would be closed until further notice.  Called the following day and was on hold for another 2 hours.  Called each of next two days and never was able to get off hold.   Never spoke to a soul.  Cancelled my check but due to a glitch with my bank, check was not cancelled.  I was notified of this on January 9 when I accessed my bank account.  I was charged $313.70 .  I was supposed to receive one vacuum cleaner, another vacuum for 'free' and both came with steamers, included in the price.  I was told that I would make three payments of $39.95, and pay the shipping and handling for both vacuum cleaners at $18.50 per vacuum package for a total of $156.85.  I never received ANY products (which were supposed to be shipped to me in 4-6 weeks).  When I discovered I was charged for four vacuum cleaners, I called and stayed on hold for four hours.  I called the same number on three-way calling and punched in another choice and got straight through.  I spoke to someone in Customer Service and she put me through to her supervisor, Monica.  I told Monica that my checking account had been charged illegally for four vacuum cleaners.  I said that I wanted to cancel my order and that I wanted a full refund of my money.  Monica told me that they would refund my money on January 19.  I told her that that was not acceptable, but that I wanted my money immediately.  She put me through to the 'director', Lisa.  When I spoke to Lisa, I explained the situation to her, telling her that I was charged for four vacuum cleaners.  She informed me that I had indeed ordered four vacuum cleaners.  I reassured her that I had NOT ordered four vacuum cleaners and knew no one who would do such a thing.  Lisa then told me that they would refund my money in 10 business days.   (This would be January 19.)  She also said that if she could get my money back to me faster, she would and that she would 'try hard' to do so.  She said that if she could get me my money faster, she would call me back.  I waited until January 20 and called back.  Spoke to 'supervisor' Monica and she told me that they would have my money to me by January 23. The 23rd came and went and no money.  I called January 24.   Monica told me I would have my money on  the 26th.  I called on the 26th and spoke to Jenny in Customer Service.  Jenny told me that I would have my money in 3-5 weeks.  I told her that was not acceptable and that I wished to speak to a supervisor or the President of the company.  She gave me the number to Lisa, the 'director'.  It was a wrong number, i.e. not a working number.  I am no longer calling the Customer Service number at this time, I am calling straight through to the 'corporate office'.  I looked back through my caller ID and called the number that Lisa had used to call me on January 9.  I asked to speak to Lisa and spoke to her directly.  I again explained the situation to her and told her I had waited 10 days plus, that I wanted my money and I threatened a lawsuit.  She told me that they had just opened three new corporations making it difficult to get refunds out, that there was such a high demand for refunds that it was difficult to get them all out, and that by me calling every day, that it was prolonging me getting my refund.  I told her that she was a liar and that everyone I had spoken to had repeatedly lied to me.  She kept up her 'line' until I finally hung up on her.  She would never give me a full answer on when I would get my refund.  I waited the full 6 weeks for a refund and called again on February 21.  I asked for Lisa and was told that she had been terminated.  I spoke to a male named Johnny.  I AGAIN explained the situation to him and he told me I would have my check by March 8.  I told him I was not waiting until March 8.   I had already waited 6 weeks and that my case for a lawsuit was stronger than ever.   He put me on hold and went to talk to his supervisor who told him to tell me that they were taking the check straight to Accounts Payable and I would have it the following day.  I called the next day (no check) and asked for Johnny.  (He had told me that Monica was the new 'director' and I said, "Great!  She knows exactly who I am.")  He put me on hold again and went to talk to his supervisor (Monica?) who told him to tell me that they had taken the check to Accounts Payable and that thet were waiting for the 'Treasurer' to approve the check.  What imagination.  (I can just hear them saying, "What are we going to tell her this time?" over and over and...)  I asked how long THIS would take.  He said, "We've done our part.   All he has to do is do his."  I told him that if I did not have my check by Monday, February 27, I would have my lawyer file a lawsuit against the company.   Guess what!  No check.  My great granny always said 'What goes over the old Devil's back has got to come under his belly'.  I'd hate to have these people's karma.

There has got to be a way to stop this company!!!  We ordered the Windstorm Vacuum from an info-mercial on TV, ordered one vacuum with the second one free, with 3 easy payments.  Did not go for the steamer, and whatever other junk they were trying to sell.  First a charge pops up on my account for $159 which I was only expecting a charge for $39 for the first payment.   The vacuums arrive in a huge box and it says 4 on it.  The idiots sent us 4 vacuums and charged us over $300 for 4 worthless vacuums that don't even work!  The dustbuster attachment works better than the whole vacuum put together and it doesn't work very well.  We tried and tried and tried to contact the company, with no results.   Either the line is busy or a recording comes on saying the lines are all busy and please wait for the next available operator, which is never.  After 2 payments had been taken out of my checking account, I called my bank and told them the situation.   The bank credited my account $79 of the amount that had been taken out and changed my debit card number so Windstorm couldn't take any more out of my account.  Saturday 2/25/06 I received a letter from a collection agency representing Windstorm trying to collect the $79 that the bank had credited back.  Moral of this story, never, never, never purchase anything from an info-mercial or the web, because chances are it's a big scam!!!

Last June 2005 I ordered an IGIA Windstorm with 2nd one free along with steamer and attachments. Paid extra for express shipping. It's now February 2006, no product and no promised refund. This company has lied to me over and over again regarding my refund. I contacted the Better Business Bureau in New York and IGIA responded in Oct 2005 via mail that within 7 business days I would be refunded. They lied. It never came. I have been hung up several times by customer service or left on hold for over 30 -45 minutes. I contacted Singer Corporation and they have terminated their License agreement with Tactica International/IGIA and have put a restraining order against them! I want to be involved in a class action lawsuit against this corporation and hope that everyone else will too. I also checked out [] and [] and there are over 200 postings by consumers with the very same complaint that I have. This corporation is still taking orders for their Windstorm!

Ordered a Windstorm Vacuum plus filters over the web on 2/4/06 with a total order of $101.27.  Received email acknowledgement.  Tried to inquire by phone on 2/15 and after 1hr+ on hold was connected to an automated system which told me that the system had no order under my phone number or order number. I have emailed a detailed account of this and asked if there is an order in the system or not.  I received an email acknowledgement saying a customer representative would contact me within 24 hours.  After three days had passed with no contact, I again emailed and requested some acknowledgement. Again I did receive the standard reply noting receipt and promising contact. I am now sending an email cancelling the order and instructing my credit card company not to honor any charge for this amount or from IGIA in any amount without contacting me beforehand.

Bought the Wind Storm Vacuum after viewing the infomercail on a local tv station in St. Louis.  We ordered the buy one get one free for $119.85.  However, we received 4 vacuums, or two more than we ordered.  Called and was told to return the "extra 2 vacuums" and a credit would be forthcoming.  Returned them on Jan 7, 2006.  Called on Feb 24, 2006.   Put on hold for 15 mins.  As soon as the company rep answered the phone she requested zip code and name. Then without any explanation was transferred to a message center "supervisor #116 and told to leave message.  I called back and was on hold for 10 minutes and then disconnected.  Called back again.  On hold for 30 minutes.  Was told my vacuums were in the warehouse but needed to be checked and inventoried.  When asked about the refund she said it would be @15 business days.   I am going to contact the BBB in LA.  Sounds like the old delay, delay and delay again, hoping the consumer will give up in frustration. Also I am contacting my credit card company today.

I ordered a windstorm vacuum from an infomercial, its a product from the Igia company. They took my money but never sent me the vacuum. I've tried to contact them a number of times, and sent them emails but to no avail. When I did get through to customer service they just told me there is no customer service today. They just give me the run around. I believe they're just thieves with a fancy wrapper. I would tell anyone not to buy anything from this company unless you just want to throw away your money.

I ordered the vacuum in question on 12/10/2005 on the internet from an infomercial for buy one get one free and after receiving a confirmation email it looked like I was being charged for 2 vacuums. I tried calling the number on on the confirmation email but the hours advertised for contact were incorrect and when trying to call during the week it was either busy or no one answered. I replied to the email to see how to cancel the order because the website had none of that information.  They gave me a website to go to and submit a cancelation which I did twice, but the company IGIA apparently never received the cancelation notice.  I have emailed several times and it took quite a few times before I received a reply. Maybe these will help others in this situation:  If the product is coming from IGIA the email I have iscustomer@natful.comand the phone # they have given me is 615-449-8877. Anyhow to make a long story short I returned the items (without opening them) and finally got most of my money back.  The bad part is they charge $37 shipping 7 handling for each vacuum and unfortunately that money you don't get back.  I somehow got the two vacuums I had ordered and another one that I did not order and never received a confirmaton email for this one so they kept 3 X $37 plus $20 for shipping the free steamer.  That's $131.  I called UPS and the total cost to ship these two packages was $32.55 so they profited around $100.  They have told me that they have handling costs and I find it hard to believe that it would cost them almost $100 for someone to pull 4 boxes out of a warehouse and have UPS pick them up for shipment.  And I am sure they have a warehouse full of these vacuums to ship out.

i have bought this vacume over the phone and while purchasing it i was basiclly talking to a recording. a week later i looked on my bank statement and found out they have charged me double!!! so i called them and took me almost an hour to get through!!! So they told me they will refund the mistake on a certain date which never happened and told me that the vacume was back ordered, so i asked for a full refund. they gave me another date whcich again never happened. i got frusterated and reported them to consumer affairs today. when you call them it takes them forever to pick up the phones and a couple of times where i actually got through they would ask for my informations and hang up!!!
