Well, add me to your list.   Scammed by IGIA fulfillment.  You would think that IGIA could be a little creative and change their scam with every customer - instead they sent us all 4 vacuums!!!   I too have tried calling the 800 number - no answer.  Then I found their website, and I proceeded to E-mail.  I received a lovely E-mail immediately telling me they would respond by calling within 24 hours - HA!  I've E-mailed 3 times (getting an automatice E-mail each time) and it's now 30 days and no call!  Surely their is something that can be done for us all to get restitution!

I'm so gratful that I came across this website and everyone's horror stories before it was too late. I ordered the Wind Storm (buy 1 get 1 free) one week ago. The automated phone line that they use to take orders was not user friendly. It never gave me a total price or verified exactly what I ordered so I've been calling customer service for the last week to speak to a real person without success. Today, I came online and found this GREAT website. I called my bank (the order was put on my debit card)and explained the situation. Only because Wind Storm didn't request approval yet, I was able to close my card and order a new one. Thanks to everyone who told their story! Once I had a problem with the people at Kirby. I ordered a $1,000.00 vacuum (these vacuum people must be in kahoots) but changed my mind and returned it within the allowed time. They didn't want to give me my $ back. I called my attorney general and they were able to eventually get my $ back. I hope this can help someone else. Good luck.

This is me again to update you on my problem... I called Consumer Care, IGIA, at the Lebanon, Tn., phone number and was put on hold.  I held for 15 minutes and got very disgusted.  They did credit my Visa over $200.00, but they were $74.00 SHORT and I want that credit also.  Well, after they had me  on hold and did not respond, I called my Visa card and told them I AM NOT paying the remaining $74.00 so now Visa has that in dispute.  I will let you know how I make out. Don't give up on getting credits on your credit card.  I told the Visa company that these folks are scamming good people and hopefully Visa will do something about it. They must have a lot of complaints by now!!!!!!! Good luck to all!!!!!

i order the windstorm vacume i only order 1 and get 1 free plus i suppose to got the steamer and all i have to pay is shipping  well i ended up with four vacumes and no steamer and they charged my card $186.00 plus a second charge of $79.95 plus they say i still owe them $159.00 so the total for one vacume cleaner will cost me over $400.00 i think they there a rip off company and you cant contact them through mail or telephone nor do they answer there emails either im going to see about sueing this company and having them shut down

I also ordered from the TV commercial for the buy 1 get 1 free and I was sent a total of 4 vaccuums instead of 2.  I was charged $314.00 dollars for the vaccuums. I cannot contact anyone regarding this issue the 1-800 numbers are voice recordings only and there is no phone number on the order slip for customer service. I am very upset and feel this company should not be allowed to advertise on a TV chanel.

This is my horror story about these scam artists. I am sending the letter I wrote my credit card company disputing all charges. Dear Credit Card Company I am writing this letter as I was instructed to do by your office. In August 2005 I purchsed two Singer Windstorm Lazer vacuum cleaners  I saw on one of their nationwide infomercials and  paid with my credit card. The first billing was on 8/24/05 for $96.95. The second billing was on 9/13/05 for $39.95 and the third billing was on 10/11/05 for $39.95. This made the grand total, including the shipping, and a 5 year warranty charge, $176.85. My problem, however, stemed when I tried to purcase replacement filters through the Windstorm web site, since they are unavailabe in stores. Again I paid by credit card on 10/26/05 for $22.92. If you check my statements they will show these charges. Well I never received the filters and any attempt I made to find out why, was to no avail. Phone numbers were disconnected, etc and they never responded to numerous emails. Finally on 1/9/06 I reached an operator at the 800 number stated on the Windstorm Vacuum bill of 10/24 as shown on your statement. I was on hold for 40 minutes and when the operator came on she told me that the filters were on a back order basis. I asked, "why wasn't I informed of that"? She replied that they don't do that and offered to refund the $22.95 charge, which I accepted since I have lost all confidence in this nationwide scheme. So now it remains to be seen if it is followed through with you folks. My point now, is that without the ability to buy replacement filters these two vacuums are useless. Also this infomercial is on TV nationwide and others must be experiencing the same as I have.  My question is, since I have been scamed and the vacuums are useless unless I can buy filters, perhaps I can dispute all the charges. ($176.85 plus the 22.92), and I will return to ???????. Believe me I have found no retailer who carries the vacuums, much less the filters! In fact I was told by one retailer that Singer was out of business. I would appreciate your assistance. Sincerely Yours, Richard

Purchased a Wind Storm Vacuum in response to a infomercial.  Ordered 1 Vacuum with one free vacuum.  Received a shipment of 4 vacuums.  According to infomercial there were to be 3 payments @ 39.95 ea. instead my visa was charged 218.49.  When i contacted the phone # on charge bill I was referred to a different # who then referred me to yet another # which leaves you on hold or disconnects.  I reported to this incorrect chg to my visa company and intend to report this company to the Better Business

after seeing the windstorm vac on tv i ordered per their advertisement buy one get one free along with the free steamer. i ordered the vac on dec 18th 2005. they debited my account dec 27th 2005 for $379.50 although i did not receive the product. i called them with the assistance of my bank. they claimed i ordered 4 vac's when i only ordered 1 per the tv (buy 1 get 1 free plus the free steamer). they referred me to an 800# after numerous phone calls trying to get through to their 800-711-8357 they finally sent me a package with 4 vac's (no steamer)which i recv'd jan 6, 2006. the windstorn vac does not pick up even the smallest particles (this vac is suppose to be powerful enough to pick up a refrigerator) dumb me to believe that. i am returning the vac's and expect to recieve a full refund. this is a total scam.

Oh, I'm so glad to learn I'm not the only one who has been taken by this scam.  I also only ordered 1/get one free, and received a total of 4.  I couldn't believe they charged me $95. for shipping. I have been trying for almost 4 weeks to get this problem solved through phone calls emails - without success.  I have  put in a dispute with my credit card company, but will I ever see my money again?  I'm thinkning about calling the local TV station to see if they can help! If anyone knows of an address or phone # (where you can actually speak with a  pearson) please let all of us know. I really feel sorry for the hundreds of elderly people who have ordered this vacuum, and have no access to the internet.

Well after reading this forum, I feel better that I wasn't the only one screwed by these people. As many of you I was also charged for 2 vaccums and to receive 2 free, when I only ordered 1. I have fought with these A-holes since 11/20/05 and still haven't received my vacuum or credit. I origanly order on November 20th, then days later I noticed a charged of $320.79, which at best my charge should have been around $150. It took a week to finally get through to these people. So on 11/28 I was told I ordered 2 Vacs, only to tell them I did not, I ordered 1, after staightening this out I was told my credit would take 15 to 20 days to be put back to my card. As of 12/13 still no vacuum called again, only to be told it would be shipped on 12/15, ok now its 01/03/06 called again still has not been shipped and my credit should be back in my accout within 48 hrs., vacuum will be shipped this week. As of today 01/09/2006 guess what no credit no vacuum, only to find out you got it it still hasn't been shipped, and still no credit. I just canceled the whole thing, called my Bank, who credited me back my money and filed a complaint now they are going after them to get the money back. What a scam.

I have written 2 times to this forum and just want to update the people that are in the same predicament as I am.  I got 4 sweepers, refused delivery, and my Visa was charged $313.70.  I am fighting the charge on my account with IGIA and today I got a post card from IGIA saying they are gonna credit my account $239.70.  Well, that is $74.00 SHORT and Monday they are getting a phone call. I want to share with all of you a return address and phone number on the card.   Hope it helps. Consumer Care IGIA 6960 Eastgate Blvd. Lebanon, TN. 37090-1230 (615)449-8877 I hope a human being answers the phone.  I am also calling Visa and disputing the $74.00 left on my charge.  I WILL NOT PAY ANY OF THIS!!!!! Good luck!!!!!  I will keep you updated and hope all of you get results!!!!!

Like some of the others, I purchased the Windstorm Vacuum from the TV infomercial and got "raped"! I ordered one vacuum at the regular price of $119 and the second one for FREE, just pay shipping (supposedly around $20-$25). I also ordered the upgrade (cheap at $7.50), which would then give me the Steamer for FREE. Based on charges they told me over the phone at the time of ordering, I figured the cost was about $200. What I received was 4 vacuums (only ordered 2...buy one get 2nd for FREE) and a bill for $460.42. The bill charged me $119.85 x 2 for the two sets of vacuums, $20 for the alleged "FREE Steamer", $30 for 4 upgrades, $40.92 for tax and $129.80 for S+H. WHAT A SCAM! My thoughts: - submit complaint to Better Business Bureau - Call Lawyer - Dispute credit card charge You WILL WIN! Good luck...I have full confidence that this will be taken care of for me. I have no concerns.

I have already entered my story in this forum.....same as all the rest...I was scammed!!! When I saw the charge of $313.70 on my charge, I immediately called my Visa and told them I am not paying. Then I tried to call Windstorm..and like all the rest...hung up on me and then  emailed and they never got back to me.  When UPS delivered my 4 sweepers (never ordered 4 and never got the free steam cleaner), I wrote down the tracking number from the package and the name National Fullfilment from Cerritos, Ca. I, of course, refused delivery.    UPS told me to go online to UPS.com  the next day and put in the tracking number and it said I had refused the package.  I copied all correspondence I had in this matter and I even copied all of the complaints listed in this forum and sent them to my Visa card.  I am hoping that Visa can do something to stop this scamming.   I just went into UPS.com and saw that the sweepers were delivered to Cerritos, Ca. and signed for by Marin.  Maybe it would help for all you people to copy the letters in this forum and take them to the necessary people to help put these scammers out of business  FOREVER!! Good luck to us all and pass on the word to everyone about this company.  I went on Ebay right after this happened to me and there were 6 of the Windstorm Vacuums on there. Guess people who were stuck with them are trying to get some money out of the deal..who knows??

On 12/17/05 I ordered the Wind Storm vac and as stated in some of the other complaints I never spoke to a human. I ordered 1 vac and to receive a 2nd free. This is absolutely all I ordered. I never got a final total for this order but I figured $156.85, that's $39.95 x 3, plus S&H of $18.50 x 2. On 12/19 my account was charged $313.70 instead of the correct amount and I had 3 OD fees worth $91.00. I didn't know this until I called my bank for a balance and was told that I was overdrawn, when my account summary was gone through, I had a charge for $313.70 and when told it was from Wind Storm I couldn't believe it. They had charged me twice what they were supposed to.  I tried to call the customer service number and got the recording and put on hold for over 1 3/4 hours. That was on 12/30/05. The vac's were delivered on 12/31. I didn't open the box but I did pull the invoice out and by that I have 4 vacs in there. I tried calling all the numbers I have and have not spoken to a human yet. Today ,1/5/06, I tried all the #s again and got nowhere. I was on hold on 800-709-2216 for 2 hours before the connection was severed. I called this # at 4 minutes past 10AM. I should have been very close to the first caller. My bank suggested I file a dispute and I am, as soon as I get done with this. The bank gave me this # from the charge 323-201-4546 and I just called it again and the woman that answered said the only # she has is 800-711-8357 which is another busy signal! I'm with the rest of you that got taken, let's sue!!!

Like all the others on the complaint website I think I might have been scammed out of 174.28 from my Visa account.   I ordered the WindStorm vacs thru the internet on 11-19-2005 and I still have not received the two vacuums, one being free for ordering the first one, also the steamer with accessories for an extra 20.00 and 3 replacement filters for 17.97.  I noticed that an amount of 174.28 was charged to my Visa account.  Here it is Jan. 3rd, 2006 and still no delivery!!! If this was a scam, I will never order thru the internet again and will call my bank to have the amount credited and backed out.I have tried calling the 800 number given on the infomercial and it's either busy or after waiting for a long time, get disconnected, I never reach a live human being. The following site has numerous people complaining, I'm hoping that it's just a slow delivery and not a scam:http://www.infomercialscams.com/wind_storm.htm

On 1-1-06 I was watching TV early in the morning and saw the informorcial for the Windstorm vacuum.I called the 800 number to order and the order process took 20 minutes(I looked on my phone timer)and was TOTALLY AUTOMATED-NO live human to talk to.Not only did they want to sell you the vacuum-they want to sell you about 8 different products! After reading all these complaints and HORROR STORIES about how this company charges $400 and $500 to customer's credit cards-I called my credit card company and CANCELLED the card I used to place this order.I'm glad it takes 3 days to process the order-I stopped these SCAMMERS from taking my money.

My husband was up late one night watching tv and thought about ordering this product. The offer was 39.95 for 3 months and you would receive 2 vacs. He called and was told to put in his credit card number and go through the options. He was told that the order would not be placed until he confirmed the order at the end of the call. Then, he was prompted to buy a bunch of other things. At this point, alarm bells begin to go off. He does not confirm/complete the order and decides to speak to an actual person. He follows the prompts for customer service, but after thirty minutes, he is still not successful in reaching an actual human being. In the morning, he tells me about it and I immediately look up the vac and find this site. I read all of the complaints so I got very concerned and called our bank and told them my concerns and had them note the account. They tell us to watch our account. The next day, hubby calls the strom vac number and checks to see if they have an order on file. The automated number says there is no order associated with our phone number. I check our bank account online and everything is fine. I do this everyday for 4 or 5 days and nothing. We breathe a sigh of relief. Yesterday, my hubby is paying the bills and balancing our check book and he sees a charge from storm vac in the amount of $149.95!!! We filed a dispute with our bank and next week I am sending this fraudulent company an email and certifed letter. I cannot believe they are allowed to do business in this matter. I am truly appalled!!!

On December 23, 2005 I ordered thru the television infomercial - Igia - the Windstorm Vacuum - buy one vacuum get one free plus a free steamer.  I was immediately charged on my charge card $362.57. I tried to call today, as it has been over a week to check on delivery.  I entered my phone number (as requested, for tracking my order) and a recording said there was no order for that telephone number.  I tried again, and received the same message. Now I have given this company - Igia, and/or windstorm much more money than than the agreed amount advetised on the television infomertial and have not received my order. I do not know what to do next.  I am beside myself.  Can someone help me.
