My father always told me to do my homework...I let this one slide. I feel so violated! I ordered the Windstorm Power Vac 12/2/06 and it is now 02/08/07. I also tried in vain to get in touch with the thieves who stole my money (along with my trust & dignity)...Same results as most of you - Nothing! Why are there so many of us with complaints and yet the info-mercial continues to run. If all of us have been complaining shouldn't there be some feed back. I have been to the BBB, however, they need certain info I cannot provide regarding this company. I am going to contact my local TV station and ask if they will run a "scam story" about this product (they do them on a regular basis). I'm sure I'm not the only one in the viewing area scammed by this company. It has been running for months on cable tv. Maybe I'll call the cable provider as well to voice my opinion about this scam. I'd appreciate some vindication (which seems unlikely). If I can, I'd also like to prevent someone else from spending their hard earned $$. Good Luck to All of Us...

My story,s the same as everyone else.I ordered 12/13/06 My credit card was charged $156.85.I never received the 2 vacs. Can anything be done or are we all screwed?

I ordered the "2 for the price of one" deal on November 29, 2006. I wanted them for Christmas gifts. My credit card was charged $156.85 on November 30th (the next day). Christmas came and went and the vacuums never arrived. I called their "Custmer Service Dept" (yea right) on January 9, 2007 and canceled the order. The customer service agent (Linda) told me my credit card would be credited in 7 to 10 days. As of today (February 1st) my card has not been credited. I called their Customer Service number again this morning and spoke with "Lorain"....she gave me the same line of BS that I read in another post here..."That their processor has been down since the middle of December and they could not make any credits at this time". I asked when it would it be fixed...she said: "I don't know". What I find amazing is that if you go to their website it is still up and running and they will be "Glad to take your money"! []

Ordered on 12/2 & canceled order on 12/4 after reading online comments. They had already charged my Visa. Been trying to get a refund ever since. Was told the "Processor" in California was broken and they were waiting for it to be fixed. This morning Lorraine told me that they weren't issuing refunds at this time. Customer Service Supervisor is Mario. His manager is Justin. No last names. I have left messages for them to call me back. No one has called me back. The phone numbers I have are 800-278-6886, 800-791-5745 and a new york # that shows up on my visa bill: 212-369-0500. I called that number a couple of weeks ago and they answered "Executive Offices" I asked to speak to someone about a refund and was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone. I called back again, same response; left on hold. I called the NY number again and it referred me to a new number 646-672-6767. Called that number at 7:59 AM PST and got a recording "This number is not in service at this time and there is no new number." I wish I had checked online first before ordering. I usually do but I didn't this time. I'm all in for a class action suit. I don't know what to do now. I got some Dispute Forms from my Visa company and will fill those out but not sure what else to do.

I too was scammed. I order the product via the telephone in late November. My bank account was charged $169.95 on December 7th and NOTHING. I have contacted my back and hope they will credit my account. Next time I know not to ORDER TV INFORMERICAL PRODUCTS without first researching online. As soon as I googled Winstorm Vac today - tons of bad reports popped up.

I ordered this item from an infomercial before Christmas 2005. I did not receive this item but my account was not charged. I thought there was a problem so I would not be getting this. However, in February 2006, I account was charged for this item. I waited for it to be sent but I never received it. I looked for this item on the internet and tried to contact them. The phone number put me on hold for extended times and then hung up on me. I emailed the customer service department. I received an email saying they were sorry that my item was not shipped earlier but they would send it within the next two weeks. Again I waited but received nothing. I contacted them again and received the same response. I asked for mailing information but they could not give this to me. I waited again and did not receive this. I contacted this group several times but could not get any answers. After several acknowledgements saying they have not mailed my merchandise, they then asked for me to send proof of payment by FAX. I tried to FAX the information but their FAX line did not work. After several attempts that way, I emailed them again and didn't get any response. I turned this in to Better Business Bureau but have not got a response from them either. I would appreciate any information on where to go from here.

I ordered this product in November 2005. Paid for express shipping which meant I should have had the product by December. It is now January 2007 & no resolution. I have called numerous times & always been put on hold for hours. When someone does answer they transfer me to a "manager", which is actually just a voicemail. I'm out over $300.00 and would like to know what I can do.

I ordered the product in early Dec. 2006, hoping to give one of the 2 for 1 vacs away for Christmas. To date, nothing has arrived but my VISA was billed $76.95 12/14 and $39.95 on 1/13, after I disputed the first charge with my CC company. Thankfully they have credited my account for both charges. I expect the third and final charge in Feb and cannot set up a block for that vendor. Too bad CC's cannot provide that service. I too tried the phone numbers and got the "disconnected" and then the psychiatric clinic. How long until the FTC or the FCC bars that infomercial from the airways!

I order the Power Storm from Windstorm Ventures just before Thanksgiving 2006, they said allow 4 weeks delivery. I am retired and live on SS only. They debited my checking account for $116.96. I called them because I was not expecting them to debit that much, the number I called was the number on TV, they said that included shipping charges and the extra cost for the accessories for the steamer they offered. This was a 2 for 1 deal. I order because I have a very bad back and cannot vacuum with my regular vac so I thought this was the perfect solution. Here it is January 15, 2007, I have tried calling, the number was changed, called that number and got a mental hospital. I e-mailed them, they e-mailed back and said they would give me a answer as to why I have not received my product in 24-hours. That was 6 days ago, I have e-mailed them again with no response. I can barely afford to pay for the medicines I have to buy each month and get a few groceries and along comes this company, advertise on TV where millions of people can see their product, spend their hard earned money to buy a product to make life easier and then this company rips them off. I blame the TV as much as the company, the TV channel that let them demonstrate their product should a least know enough about the companies they sell time to to at least know if they are reputable or not. I know it's a money game, but I think channels that sell time for infomercials have a responsibility to the public.

I ordered this product after seeing the Power Storm sweeper infomercial on December 3, 2006. Just 2 days later, my credit card was charged $196.85 to Windstorm Ventures, 212-369-0500 NY. Product still not received as of January 13, 2007. I've tried calling Power Storm customer service number but no answer. It appears that I too have been scammed by this company.

On January 1, 2006, after seeing the infomorcial and upon finding the same ad on the Internet I ordered a Wind Storm Vacuum Cleaner. After receiving and using the vacuum I found it to be unsatisfactory. It didn’t work as expected. On January 20, 2006 I began trying to contact the company, first by email, then using the number on the invoice, for instructions on how to return the vacuum cleaner. After 4 or 5 calls, being placed on hold for several minutes at a time, I was finally instructed to simply return the vacuum cleaner. According to postal records it was returned on February 1, 2006. Since that time we have been unsuccessful in receiving the refund. In July 2006 I contacted the Attorneys General of New York and California. The following has transpired since then: August 14 2006, Windstorm sent a letter saying the refund was in process; september 14 2006, Windstorm, again, sent a letter saying the refund was in process; September 26 2006, having received no refund yet I contacted Windstorm and both Attorneys General again; October 25 2006, Windstorm sent yet another letter saying the refund was in process. It is now January 10, 2007 and still no refund. Has anyone thought of a class action lawsuit yet?

I ordered the Windstorm Smartvac from an infomercial I saw on t.v. and thought it was a good deal. Well, when I called, there was no live person. That should have sent a red flag. Well, I got the 2 for 1 deal. They did take the $202.82 from my account, but I can't get ahold of anyone. Oh, and if you send an email to to customercare@stormvac.com so don't bother, I got a "Delivery to the following recipients failed." I learned an expensive lesson. No more infomercials for me. We all need to band together and do something about getting the word out. No more people need to be sucked in like we were.

My vacuum cleaner broke down on 12/02/06 and I remembered the Wind Storm Vac informercial I had seen. I went online to order the product and just like all of the below, it was supposed to me a buy 1 get 1 offer, billed in 3 small installments. Before I knew it, the charges showing were $227.82 with a whopping $70 shipping charge! I emailed them immediately to cancel my order. They emailed me that someone would email me about my email in 24 hours but of course, to no avail. Since I got NO email confirming my order, I figured they went away. Not so! On Dec. 9th, they charged my credit card for $232.21 and the vendor was shown as "Windstorm Ventures 212-369-0500" and when I called that number, I was told in by answering machine to call 646-672-6767, which answers the phone as "Manhattan Psychiatric Clinic." I was informed by the operator that Windstorm is using their old number. I think they ought to be brought on felony charges. I now suspect that if they do indeed have telephone numbers of their customers, they can find out social security numbers and steal I.D.'s. May God and the Law protect us all!!!!!!
