I am like everyone else...never received the product, call numerous times, phone would disconnect after 10 minutes. No vac, no refund nothing. I too want to file charges against this company. How is this legal???????? What can I do? Almost 2 years and I am out $274.00 What can we do?

I've read many of your stories, and we are all in the same boat. Each of us frustrated, feeling duped, and our pockets emptier. I am owed $348. Sadly, we can kiss the money goodbye, but we can band together and follow through with letters to the BBB, Consumer Affairs, Attorney General, and of course, inform others before they make the same mistake. Also, I do believe the TV station that carried that infomercial should have some responsibility for allowing this company to air. Is anyone interested in filing suit with the TV station? How many of you want to band together and file suit against IGIA as well? For me, it has become a matter of principle now. Let me know your thoughts and how you want to contribute your efforts in this crusade (for lack of legal terminology) I am going to pursue. Email me []. I'm at america on the line.

I ordered this product in September of 2005. It is now December 2006 and nothing has been recieved and no refund has been made by the company after several attempts at contacting them.

I ordered from TV one vacuum get another for 20 dollars. My charge card showed 158 dollars, then one month later they charged me another 79 dollars. I cancelled my credit card, as they cannot be contacted, or emailed. I was ripped off--just like everyone else. What is taking so long for this company to be exposed for fraud? Is someone who's supposed to be investigating being paid off?

I have the same story as almost everyone on here. I ordered the 1 vacuum ($79.90 plus $20 shipping) and was to receive 1 free ($20 shipping) a 3 pack of filters ($17.97) a steamer free of charge (and only to pay the $20 shipping fee) and a free magic duster at no charge and not sure about the shipping fee probably $20 or so. Well I received my checking statement with a charge of $313.22 which should have been only approx $157.87. I received my order in less then 10 days (which I was very impressed with), however I received 3 vacuums and the steamer and nothing else but a headache. The thing doesnt work, smells horrible after picking up only dustballs. I have called and called only to be disconnected and put on hold for up to an hour and still nothing. I want to return this cheap (but expensive) thing, and I am afraid to return it and get none of my money in return.

I purchased the windstorm after seeing it on one of the national morning news. Well when I called to order they offered a free steamer then I find out they want an additional 19 or 20 dollares for handling. so i try to cancell the wholee order. well the vaccum arrives less the steamer. Ok I use it. well the vaccum does not pick anything but dust up off the rug or hard floor. I emailed requesting to return the item. I would get an automatic responce email stating that someone will contact me with in 24 hours. I tried calling the C/S number 1 800 716 8667. Was put on hold 2 minutes 51 seconds tape kicks in says they are having a high valume of calls again 5 min 47 sec again 8 min 50 sec, each time they request for a quicker responce send email ,well I already know that that does not work. At 10 mins 52 sec the call is disconnected. so here I sit with a product endorsed by one of the major news programs and no recourse.

I ordered the vacuum in June 2005 and based on the informercial, you also get a steamer when you pay for the shipping and handling (which is outrageous). They never contacted me to let me know there was a back up with the order. I called and was told the vacuum would get to me by August. The vacuum came but no steamer. I have called about 12 times, called the warehouse, stayed on the phone all day waiting for a customer service rep, sent several emails but still no steamer. Finally after the parent corp of IGIA(Tactica International 212-967-6917 X125 ask for Jennifer) I got a person who ALWAYS work there as she is tryng to get the steamer to me. It is now November 2006 and I am waiting since they are still back order. it is about the principle. The steamer was free so they are trying not to give me and hoping I will get frustrated and drop it. I will be bugging them till I get it.

I ordered the vacs, got charged double and no refund in 11 months. My story is like all the rest, so I wont need to include all the boring details.

The following is my statement describing the complaint My wife and I filed against Wind Storm, Storm Vac, or IGIA, however they choose to identify themselves. I have been given each name along the way in trying to obtain my refund. On January 1, 2006, after seeing an ad on Television and upon researching the ad on the Internet we ordered a Wind Storm Vacuum Cleaner. After receiving the Vacuum, within 10 days to 2 weeks, we used it and found it unsatisfactory. It didn’t measure up to our expectations. On January 20, 2006 I began trying to contact the company, first by email, then using the number on the invoice, for instructions on how to return the vacuum cleaner. After 4 or 5 calls, being placed on hold for several minutes at a time, I was finally instructed to simply return the vacuum cleaner. On January 27, using U.S. Postal Service Delivery, the Vacuum Cleaner was returned to Wind Storm. According to postal records it was delivered on February 1, 2006. Since that time we have been unsuccessful in receiving the refund or even speaking with someone at the Wind Storm Company for any kind of an explanation. During the months of January through April 2006 I submitted e-mail requests and/or placed calls to various numbers, which had been given me, to attempt to contact someone at Wind Storm to resolve our problem. Except for representatives assuring me the payment was on its way, or giving me other numbers to call, my calls were not answered. The e-mails promised assistance but never came through. The phone calls, on most occasions, were placed on hold and my patience was stressed the point I simply hung up. The only good thing was the numbers were toll free. Here are the numbers we have been given over time. (800) 711-8357 - (800) 709-2216 - (800) 716-8667 - (800) 278-6886. In July 2006 Attorneys General of both New York and California were contacted. In a letter, dated August 14, 2006, Windstorm agreed to refund us $77.82. It is now October 26, 2006 and still nothing has been refunded.

I ordered the Wind Storm Vac in October 2005. I did not receive it or any verification by mail. The Milinex company was quick to charge my credit card for $221.77. I called to try to get some relief and was told that there was a backlog of orders (this was February 2006) but that I would receive something in the mail. When I didn't receive anything in the mail after 8 weeks, I called again only to find out that the phone number was no longer valid. I figured I had been cheated and didn't know what step to take next. The website gave no information or customer service link. I recently saw the same infomercial on TV, got the new phone number and called. I spoke with Julie on September 18th. She gave me an address and a website. I've written twice and received a canned reply. I am angry and want my money back. How can they get away with this?

I ordered one of these Vac's in November of 2005. Never received it and after numerous attempts at contacting the company I still have no vac and have not recieved my money back. I have been told the check is "in the mail". The phone number is bogus as they never come on line and after ten minutes it disconnects. How can they be on TV?

I ordered my vaccum in September of 2005, it was supposed to be buy one get one free with three payments of $39.95. I cancelled my order before I ever recieved the product. My credit card was charged $313, and I was told it would be credited to my account. Now almost a year later, countless hours on the phone, and many unanswered emails, my money still remains to be refunded. Is there anything we can do? Too many people are getting ripped off by these people. We can't all afford laywers. Help!!!

This is the second time I have posted on this site. As with everyone else, I order back in late Nov/early Dec 05. I received 4 vacuums within 2 weeks. They didn't work as advertised, so I returned them. Luckily, I kept the tracking number. They received my product back 1/13/06. I can't begin to count the number of times I've called requesting my refund. Of course, none of the numbers work any longer. I even tried a 212 number reported here as a success. Got a live person who placed me on hold as soon as she knew why I was calling. I am out $500, which I can't afford. Now, I've tried emailing again & just now as I write this, I have received an undeliverable response. What do we have open to us to get our money back, or stop these people from selling. I found a site today that is selling them. I tried to talk to someone, they said I had to go to the website & hung up. The website www.picustomerservice.com states, if you placed your order via the infomercial, we are not the same company that advertises on tv. We cannot & will not assist you. They're still out there preying on other people! If anyone gets a class action together, plese post it here, I will be the first to sign up!

I have finally received my money back after a year by calling this number: 1-800-974-8590. This is the only number I found that actually picked up the phone. The first time I tried calling a woman named Rozette told me I would receive a check in a week. I didnt believe her after everything I had gone through before so I called again to make sure they sent out my check. The same woman picked up and it doesn't seem that anyone else works there. I threatened her by telling her that I was recording the conversation and that it would go straight to my attorney if I didn't receive a check. After the second time of calling the same day, she told me that the check came back in the mail that same day because I gave her the wrong address, which was a lie. After confirming my address with her and making her repeat it to me, I threatened her by telling her that I would take legal action if I didn't receive anything in the mail. They will try deceiving you by saying that you gave them the wrong address so call back to make sure it was sent out. Good luck to all of you!

I have gone through the exact same thing all of you are going through. I have finally received information to how to get my money, and it has worked. I RECEIVED MY CHECK AND IT CLEARED. I contacted the FTC and filed a complaint and I also filed a complaint with a certian individual there. I sent him all of my copies of everything that I had (including statement where they deducted $. I blacked out account #s). I would like to help anybody that I can, because I know how frustrated I was about this stupid company. This company sells MANY other item that are seen on infommercial, and I will NEVER order another thing off of them. Please email me at [] and I will give you contact names. It took about 3 weeks to get a check! This is the real deal! FINALLY!!!!

Company got the order wrong, send the product back and still trying to get a refund for over one year. I have sat in my office with 6 phones calling the customer care number and never got one to pick up. I have talked to them approx 4 times and they always tell me the money will be there within 2 weeks. I have still not gotten any refund for over one year of over $500.00. This is the worst scam company I have ever dealt with. They suck.

I ordered two windstorm vacuums from an infomercial in December '05. In January the money, $156.85 ($18 more than was supposed to) came out of my account, but I never received the merchandise! The bank says there is nothing they can do because it's been more than 90 days. There is no customer service, because nobody answers anything! If you are thinking about ordering, DON'T!!! You WILL be sorry.

9/5/2006 - Denielle writes:
I placed my order on 11/25/05 and was charged foe the vacuum shortly after. After waiting until 1/23/06 I started to make calls to their customer service line. The first 8 times I called I got a rep that told me she was going to put me to the top of the list because they were still back ordered. I again waited until 5/8/06 before I tried e-mailing them. I have sent many e-mails w/ no response at all. Due to no reply I started calling regularly to try and get through. I lost track of all my calls but it has been 3 months of me calling any where from 4 to 8 times every Tuesday. Every time I call I sit on hold for 23 to 37 minuets only to get hung up on in the end. I am now trying a new route of contacting them as a new customer who would like to just talk to a rep because I have questions on a new vacuum. Maybe that will get a response.

I placed an order for one vacuum in December 05, four vacuums where shipped. Pure junk! I was issued a number to return all the vacuums, and was told that I my account would be credited within seven days. The second time I spoke with someone I was told my account would be credited within 24 hours. My account has not been credited. Since January 06, the 800 number instructs you to call back during working hours anytime of day you call. When I located a new phone number for Windstorm on the Internet, without fail, my calls were put on hold and then disconnected. When I email the fake email address, a return confirmation notice is delivered that says someone will get back to you within 24 hours, which never happens. These crooks are still victimizing people. How is this possible? I think the media should be contacted and asked to go public with this scam. Hopefully once the viewing public is made aware of this type of organized deceitful activity, infomercials will come to a screeching halt. I can’t wait. Including the cost of return shipping these felons ripped me off for $400.00.
